The Southwest experience has definitely taken a dive from its early days. You can no longer deferentiate from other airlines. Air travel is too expensive. Southwest is no longer budget friendly. They have lost me as a loyal customer.
Flight was hours late, unable to sit next to spouse, I have had so much better experiences. Substantially better, only saving grace was that it was a short flight.
An entire day of delays. Cost lots of money. Meals and a hotel.
The charges were ridiculous for an hour flight and the turbulence was very scary.
The seats are now more narrow. I paid for front row the seats in the front are even more narrow than before.
Only downside was the legroom and seat width, which is always a problem unless I spend more for a premium seat.
Great flight but super high price. Glad it was a business trip and not personal

No delays and arrived to destination 30 min early. Staff was super friendly.
Mediocre would be best description. Food bland. Seat biz class uncomfortable to sleep. Crew never dimmed lights completely in an overnight flight to Europe. Would avoid AA if possible.
Massimo, flight attendant was very authentic, attentive - wonderful. Food/wrap was just okay.
I am an AA flyer for a very long time... AA has yet to disappoint.
Arriving plane went to wrong gate. Flight Attendant was late. Was in no Hurry when he arrived. Flight was fine. Plane had to wait 20 minutes to get assigned a gate due to designated gate tied up. barely connected.. Boarded extremely late on final leg of trip.
See prior comment about how Kayak mishandled my reservation and delayed my arrival by 6 hours.
Generally good. Flight left on time and the seats are comfortable. Plenty of space in front if you in you choose a comfort plus seat, completely worth spending the extra money given the amount of hours the flight lasts. The food tastes good but I would say it’s a the amount is too little. The crew was friendly and efficient. There was a some turbulence at different points into the flight. American Airlines has good deals to NZ if you book with plenty of time before you plan on going.
I am very appreciative of the help provided to me by Dennis and Whitney. I had lost my phone at EWR airport and they were very kind in assisting me. This included advice on how to file a report and also helping me connect with family. The pilot was also great about keeping passengers updated on the flight progress with regular communications over the system.
The screens were inoperable for movies and such, but everything else was just fine
Crew was helpful and cheerful especially when they had no refreshments to work with. The plane was never serviced and had nothing but limited water and coffee onboard. For the price point, a concern of services.
AA did not allow to board a flight because my connecting flight from DFW had been canceled. I got on another flight to another city. No service on the plane and I did not use their entertainment system.
