We couldn't all get exit row, which is important to my husband who is over 6' tall, in spite of this which I find totally obnoxious. This was due to a woman who boarded outside of her group (she was C!), who boarded with her friend who had A1, and saved a seat for her daughter. The Southwest system is completely unfair unless two things happen: 1) people are not allowed to board outside their group and 2) IMPORTANTLY NO RESERVING seats. We have noticed that the trend seems to be pay for one person in a party to have early bird, and then reserve a seat. This is shitty."

The blanket was hardly a blanket and more like a towel. We then luckily could switch seats as there were 2 vacant. But, the air conditioner was leaking water in the seat to our left. The crew was callous and just stuck the passenger with some napkins saying it does that. I don't fly Delta a lot and my experience in this trip isn't inspiring much confidence."

Cons: "1) American's boarding process seems to be driven by ticket price and nothing else. Every other airline I've been with boards families with small children first. It lets those families and get on board and get setup so that they don't block aisle access for everyone else. American seems to board based on how expensive your ticket was. So, the aisles get blocked and boarding takes forever. 2) The cabin crew gave pretty apathetic service. When our baby threw up on us, they just told us to go clean ourselves up in the bathrooms. They gave us a can of soda water to help clean up, but that was about it. 3) When my wife asked if the bread was dairy free (for our baby with a dairy allergy), the staff's response was to turn to another staff member and ask them, "Do you want to go back and research that?" In the end they just told us they didn't have time to look it up."

We also asked for ear buds and she never arrived with them simply stating they will offer/hand them out after they come around. She just seemed like she hates her job. Cons: "Background info: we flew from Dublin to Toronto (Aer Lingus) and we were supposed to fly Toronto to Los Angeles on American Airlines; however, we had a British Airways flight number for both of these flights. We missed our connecting flight in Toronto with American Airlines (we had a 2 hour layover) despite landing on-time (de-boarded a few minutes late). I suggest avoiding the Toronto airport ALWAYS as every passenger must pick up his/her luggage even if you have a connecting flight, and then re-check the baggage with the next flight. Apparently the baggage handlers were on strike and some of the customs agents as well which added to the delays. Well, after going through Canadian customs and picking up our luggage (which took quite awhile) we arrived at the American Airlines ticketing kiosk about 45 minutes before our flight. The computer told us we were too late for this flight and to see a representative. We proceeded to wait in line for an American Airlines representative only to be told this was Aer Lingus' fault (we had just flown with them); even though we had a BA flight number.. After searching for an Aer Lingus representative we were finally told they were probably all on the Aer Lingus flight that was currently about to leave. An Aer Lingus representative was paged to the ticketing counter (took well over 30 minutes for anyone to show up) and what proceeded was an argument (for well over an hour) between British Airways and Aer Lingus representatives about whose responsibility it was to re-book us. After an hour at least of poor customer service, we were finally rebooked by British Airways on the last flight to LAX (on Air Canada). Moral of the story: avoid Toronto and fly direct."

There was no entertainment!!!! Also, no plug to charge my phone that I had to wait to charge my phone after getting my bags to contact a taxi driver (Lyft)."

Cons: "The flight boarded just fine. Then, about the time we should have been pushing back from the gate, a flight attendant comes on the PA asking for a licensed doctor. Several minutes later, they announce that there's a medical emergency and EMTs are on the way. Said EMT comes down the aisle with a wheelchair. I assume they took that passenger off the back, because they didn't come back by me. We finally leave the gate only to find that the weather we were supposed to get out ahead of had now rolled in, and we're stuck on the taxiway for an hour and a half. Once we finally got airborne, things went well. When we arrived at LAX, we parked in a remote area and had to bus to the terminal. So, while none of this was really anything American could have prevented, it made the flight more of an ordeal."

I had to run around asking for someone to help the long line of people including me who were all in danger of missing their flight because no one was around to help. And then when I finally do get checked in using the now kiosk only option for the plebeian class while anyone above economy gets to talk to real people (way to highlight the class divide guys) I missed my check in time by 5 minutes and was told by the kiosk to find an agent. Then I go running around looking for an agent. I find one and she says you missed your flight. I told her I still have 45 minutes to make it, and she rudely just tells me to get in another line to pay for a new ticket. LUCKILY someone in the priority line saw I was having a problem, a customer not an agent, and she told me to try to talk to someone on her side. After 3 agents told me no one finally told me yes. I made my flight but just by a hair. If the agents would have been around to help or been willing to help me from the moment I spoke to them this would not have been a problem. Thanks for almost ruining Christmas for me. When I spoke to others everyone told me they always have issues with AA. Will never fly AA again."

We waited in line for over two hours for hotel vouchers that they did not have. We paid for own our room and returned at 11am as instructed, but the plane needed a part that had to be shipped from the U.S. which pushed our scheduled departure from 2pm to at least 9pm. My family grabbed a bus to Narita for a 6:30pm flight. C'MON AMERICAN AIRLINES! COULD YOU SERIOUSLY NOT GET ANOTHER PLANE TO HANEDA?? OR AT LEAST PAY FOR OUR HOTEL?? The ground crew at Haneda was very kind but overwhelmed. Terrible experience. And it's the reason I don't fly American. In fact, KAYAK, I booked our flights on JAL intentionally to avoid American. The fact that these were partner flights on American completely and unpleasantly surprised me...also not a good experience."

In this flight from Boston to LAX - I heard there were 80 Priority checking - are you kidding me. Group 1 does not help if I have 80 Priority seating and one family took 12 people in with one elderly. It's good to place Elderly and Military up front first - but to take the Whole entire family - that's not fair - you have 8 able bodies who should be in line with the rest of the crowd. Also who heard of 80 Priority check ins - normally, that's Group 1. Never flying AA unless I a desperate."

Fare was $111 compared to around $375 to Orlando. I was able to fit this flight into my scheduled so saved the company $$."
Cons: "Can't blame Allegiant for a noisy child, but there was a child across the aisle from me who shrieked and talked loudly THE WHOLE FLIGHT. I was trying to sleep and was NOT pleased. I like a good fare, but selling a can of Coke on the flight for $2 seems a bit extreme. Glad there are cut-rate airlines out there as an option, but I won't be flying them any more than necessary."
Pros: "I am a little disabled... Am in a electric wheelchair, can't speak very well, this was my first flight alone and my chair would not lock in upright position after unfolding it. (If I leaned back on the backrest it would collapse/fold up. I learned I had to lean forward to keep it up.) Everyone was very accommodating and very helpful! At the Provo Airport they gave me a regular wheelchair and I showed them how to remove the lithium battery, remove and stow the joystick and how to fold my chair. No drinks or snacks unless you pay for them. On arrival I waited for everyone else to exit but also took advantage of the lavatory to relieve my bladder ;-). They were waiting trying to unfold my chair. I gave them instructions to step there and lift on the arms and up it went! I showed them where the joystick was, they pulled it out and connected it to the arm, put the battery in the bag, plugged it in, zipped up the bag and I pressed the green button and Voila! it was done! Thank you to the Awesome Allegiant Crew!"
Pros: "The outbound leg went well except for the very uncomfortable seats that are thinly padded and do not recline. We left on time and arrived on time."
Cons: "The return trip left five hours late due to a faulty plane. I appreciate not using a plane that was mechanically not working. I also appreciate that we did finally leave on the same day we were to leave. The replacement plane was as uncomfortable as the plane used in the first leg of my round trip."
Cons: "The LA to Eugene leg was delayed in departing, but this was an improvement on the cancelled flight from Eugene to LA. Arrived at the airport 2 hours early per their instructions to find the flight was delayed. Thirty minutes later they cancelled the flight and then provided no information concerning the new flight the following day."

When asked to provide transportation the connecting flight, the rep acted put out and stated we would have to wait (mind you, the next flight wasn't scheduled to board until 1:44pm). I was then told, the rep was going to lunch and I would have to flag down a ride. Lastly, a $10.00 voucher was nothing considering most airport meals are over $10.00."

They managed to put our carry on on a flight to Beijing, not in the plane( that is mind boggling). The seats were uncomfortably tight. Our next flight on a smaller plane was roomier. No warning we needed to download the app to our device for entertainment as you had to pay for inseat tv."

Cons: "I paid extra so that we could have more leg room and be closer to the front of the plane yet upon embarking we were part of the last group to board. We sat in the first isle directly behind firstclass yet borded. virtually last. I was told by the flight attendant that because I purchased my airfare through Kayak as opposed to the airline was the reason behind this. I had no idea that this was the case and on top of spending the additional fee for upgrading, I was disappointed. I have a 0 star for entertainment because there was no N/A as a selection choice. There were no movies or entertainment aboard this aircraft."

Cons: "I had seats selected with my travel companion TOGETHER and when we boarded we were bumped to middle seats at the rear (the least desirable seat in the plane, separate from one another). I had select d seats when I purchased. The reassignment was not requested by me nor was it presented to me. I bought a specific seat and it was given to someone else. I am not happy with this."

I really hope they can fix that, For the good of the passengers, felt like I was going to be nauseous all the time, and I'm really not someone that complains or takes time to review badly."

Rebook them too would have been fair instead of wasting a plane full of people's time."

Crew were asking people to volunteer for another flight as well as asking people to check their carry on luggage because of the space limitations....United charges for carry on....they basically are ASKING for this problem. People Are now cramming what the can into a "carry on size" just to avoid paying these fees. And now while we're boarding people are strewn about the cabin trying to find a place for their bags. Now once everyone is boarded and sitting on a hot plane with no air circulation...they tell us maintenance is being done and we will be held up for another half hour. If this was known, why board everyone! Why not let us wait in the aircon airport in Houston and then board everyone. The leg room on this flight was by far the smallest I've seen. again, no mercy when asking for an exit row or a seat with a little more leg room because it "costs extra". Not being able to DO anything about my height, I feel this is unfair!"
