For flying cattle class on a 15 hour flight, I arrived reasonably rested and content."

There was no additional room either length- or width-wise and no other advantages other than the window. I would not pay for that "privilege" again and I'm sorry to see that ANZ has stooped to the level of its American counterparts."

Then after a while when going to the restroom i asked the male steward if he would have a pen please, he pointed out they dont have any pens. ( please note he marked on his check board, who is getting which meal on the first class)"

Two tiny closet bathrooms in the back for all of coach and a much larger one much larger one first class (which is like 5 rows with a mesh curtain for separation). The coach bathrooms are so small a normal person can barely get in and turn around to close the door. I question whether a larger person would be able to actually use them. I also saw the flight attendant actively turn away coach passengers trying to use the first class bathroom when it was open (not standing in the aisle or anything annoying like that). That's ridiculous to have 2 tiny bathrooms for all of coach and also to make people walk all the way to the back of the plane when you are seated much closer to the first class bathroom."

I tried to get on an overnight to get me to New Orleans early the nextmorning so i would not miss the festival I already bought tickets for and they would only comp us a new flight with one connection when it was THEIR fault. as we were figuring out new flights, I heard the final boarding call for my flight....it was absolutely terrible. the customer service reps did not have answers for most of our questions. Then when we were leaving to go to hotel the shuttle was a junk show. one of the drivers walked off and was arguing with a copa airlines representative. when he finally came back some peoples bags were mixed in other shuttles and we had to all get out and get on another larger shuttle and put all the luggage on the smaller ones. The only perk was that the hotel was nice for the 9 hours we had there. I am not sure I will ever fly Copa again."

No explanations, just surly, inattentive agents performing further checks on items that had already been twice-checked at security. Awful service."

Cons: "I booked through justfly and then that flight was cancelled and they put me on a United flight to SFO and changed my seating to a middle seat, when I had paid for a window seat. They would do anything to change it back or refund me my money."
Cons: "A jacket of ours was accidentally left on the plane, and when I returned 5 minutes later I was not allowed to retrieve it. So I went to flight services to try and retrieve the jacket and they did almost nothing to try and help me get it. In fact we ultimately lost the jacket because they told us that they probably threw it away with all of the blankets and pillows from the flight. That was very frustrating."

Pros: "Not much - everything was below average Q Meal worked - the miso salmon was good. shape the breakfast was almost unedible - uncooked bacon, gooey egg stuck to side of container - mushy potato cake soaked by the fluid from the tomato - you would think they would get it right after 20 years!"
Cons: "broken tables and damaged seats ( electrical cords lose) they give you a menu and have no pre-dinner drink service don't ask for a drink after meals have been served - you won't get it too much service to ask for snacks after six hours - the staff eat them and give you their vegetarian sandwiches, then other crew try to say no that's not true - one of them is lying seats are tight - especially if you are 188cm tall. they throw all the cooked mid flight snacks out after three hours of being in the oven yet they don't walk up and down the isle and offer them to you. Yeah right - 23 staff eat them themselves. same movies and TV - I do a flight every month and its always the same with maybe one or two new movies added unloading oversize in LAX - give yourself at least 1.5 hours - they are slow and inefficient. Unloading in Melbourne was ok but bags took for ever. Wish they would go to Beijing or Shanghai and see how it is done in less than 15 minutes from docking. United/Delta is looking good at this stage"

When the people in front of us layed their seats down we could not even move and when meals were served the flight attendants had to ask the passengers in front of us to please put their seats up so that they could serve us food. Then when the service was over the people layed their seats right down...they were literally in our laps."
Pros: "Like the staff -so down to earth Australian -no airs and graces like some other airlines. No fuss service. Always very helpful.You actually get food and drinks gratis on Qantas! The craft are always clean and well maintained. Easy to check in on line too. Offered in flight entertainment but didn't require it."
Cons: "We boarded a bit late -so there was a bit of waiting around without being advised of what was happening. But we figured when we saw a man in a wheel-chair being helped on before everyone else that -that was the issue. So happy to wait."

Boarding was delayed, no explanation why. Flight crew was quite friendly and thoughtful, with a little humor. Very enjoyable. No complaints.
The oldest male flight attendant was having a bad day and it affected my row's service. The trip started okay with all the other attendants. Toward the end of the flight, we were served a light breakfast but completely bypassed us regarding drinks. I waited until he came back to ask him because I was literally choking from the breakfast biscuit, but he rudely said, "No!" I had to wait until the aisle cleared so that I could go to the back and get a bottle of water myself. It NEGATIVELY impacted the rest of my trip.
Flight was delayed because it took a really long time to get the plane ready. Boarding was not well-organized. Sandwich with zucchini for breakfast is certainly cheap and has an interesting taste, but not a great combo.

Pros: "We were traveling from IAH gto FRA with two dogs. One in a crate and one in a small carry on dog bag. Lufthansa handled the process very well. They expected us at the airport, helped us through the entire checkin with a smile, helpful information and care. They brought us and our dog to TSA and after boarding confirmed that our dog had been loaded and safely taken care of. The cabin crew also checked on us and our in cabin dog. I don't know any other airline that makes traveling with a dog so easy and pleasant."

When our flight was delayed and it was questionable whether we'd make our Lufthansa connection, there was a small bus with 2 Lufthansa crew members waiting for us on the ground - they escorted us through Customs and directly to the door of the airplane so that we'd make the flight. Service I have never gotten on an American airline!"

But she presented the two options to the fellow passenger behind us. We were extremely offended by the way we were treated. The airlines offers no entertainment for children as do other airlines. In fact, one air hostess went so far as to ask me to tell my Lil one to MUTE the volume of his ipad."

Cons: "The layover time was terrible. Only 1 hour in Frankfurt. I barely made my next flight and that's only because I ran since the boarding time is about 30 minutes before the flight leaves. Their "minimum layover time" needs to be lengthened. I'd like to know if any of the people who make that decision have ever tried to make a flight with such a short layover."

Cons: "Only two passport gates for non EU passengers at Frankfurt. Four employees at EU gates sat there and laughed at the angry crowd. Lufthansa should have anticipated this mass of people and had appropriate passport checkers there from that company. "Not our fault" does not cut it. Two planes 600 people each landed at same time. I'd guess a quarter missed connection. The process of rescheduling was a comedy of lies and inefficiency and lack of concern. Worst air travel experience ever. Ruined first two days of my vacation. Oh yea forgot the worst. No air conditioner running on runway at Houston at three in afternoon. Passengers visibly sweating before a nine out overseas flight. Blamed it on a mistake."

Cons: "First of all, the boarding took an hour longer than it should have been so we all sat in the plane dripping with sweat, because it was 100 degrees in Houston and the plane didn't have A/C on until we took off. Food was not good, some mysterious meat they called beef stew and veggies with strange texture. We ended up drinking more since the food was bad. The entertainment choices were OK but the equipment was a bit ancient, my husband's screen ( we sat in the front where screen pulled out of the seat) was broken and was held by a duct tape(???!!!) The seats are small, I have flown with other companies on transatlantic flights and their seats are bigger and more comfortable in economy class."

Cons: "The flight was late in departing and then rerouted from Frankfurt to Manchester causing many passengers to loose connection. The reasongiven was a crew scheduling issue. Compensation upon arrival at Frankfurt was nil unless you asked and if you did you got an insulting 7 euros which barely even paid for coffee. No apology to people given just a "business as usual, it is your problem attitude". At arrival in Frankfurt there was a pass the buck attitude where any questions of connecting flights, and reroutes was forwarded to a Lufthansa counter that was NOT manned by anyone. Very frustrated."

When I asked if I could upgrade to premium economy or even business it was a straight no without even looking in the system to see if their were open seats. The girl in front of me ate with her seat reclined which allowed me a whole inch of space to bring my food to my mouth. Terrible airline and terrible experience. If I could cuss in this review I would."
