I could not check in online nor selecting a seat in advance. Getting the boarding pass and the seat was a nightmare. British neither American could not help me out. Horrible experience
Overseas flight and the seats were so tiny. I literally have bruises on my legs on the sides and on my knees from being crammed into the seat in front of me. I'm 73" tall and I couldn't even lower my tray all the way to set food and drink on it.
Not the best. Marginal food and hassled about carry-on that fit the size requirements. More like premium economy.

The seats have been refurbished and if you are a plus size the seats are uncomfortable.
Couldn't get own crew closed gate and would not open door.
Crew closed gate before the 10 min delayed time, knowing connecting passengers would not be able to make it. From a flight 10 min late.

The crew was pleasant and it was nice to have a complimentary meal and wine. We landed very early.
This plane has not been updated since before I was born. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and there was no in seat entertainment, just overhead screens. I was never able to get the WiFi to work. There were no power outlets, and we were never offered headphones, eye masks or ear plugs. I expected more from American since our 2hr flight from Orlando to JFK had working WiFi, power outlets and in-seat video monitors.
