Pros: "I am used to flying Frontier because of cost but recently traveled Delta and boy did I feel completely spoiled! Not only did my other half get our bags for free due to his status with Delta but the amenities they offer and the comfort of the economy seats compared to other airlines is a major difference. As a chronic pain patient, if I can find a Delta flight for a little more, I will be booking with them for sure! Highly recommend them!"

Cons: "Poor Delta DEN counter agent experience. Name on ticket didnt match Delta profile name nor TSA [rofile name. Delta counter agent would do nothing, except blame TSA. Would not check ticket name vs profile name. Happened two consecutive flights. Flight tomorrow morning has no TSA Pre clearance on boarding pass. This will be three consecutive flights. Also seated me next to a person who needed 2 seats to himself. Please never seat me next to a passenger who cannot fit in their own seat. I am switching to SWA."

Pros: "Having just exited the AeroMexico flight that came across as unprofessional, it was refreshing to get on a Delta flight. It was not really exceptional, but it met my expectations. The Delta agent on the telephone on the day before our flight WAS exceptional, as she tried valiantly to get us checked in to a flight that had been changed (by Aeromexico) several times. Delta was also exceptional in helping us retrieve our luggage after AeroMexico lost it."
Cons: "The noise by the engines in the back section on the Delta flight was rather unbelievable. As a physician, I think it was likely physically damaging to our hearing. If this interior aircraft noise can’t be avoided, I think earplugs should be offered to passengers in those seats."

Cons: "I booked through kayak and received an e-mail saying "you're booked!" with a flight itinerary and everything and then I got to the airport and they told me I had no ticket to get on the flight and no payment had ever been made and that to get on the flight I would have to pay over $1000 for a seat !!!! The original ticket I bought was under $400. I was NOT happy with this at all - Kayak screwed me over and I expect compensation."

It's nice that they serve a complimentary meal on the red eye flight but the quality of the food was bad. Entertainment options were also limited although they had some recent box office entries from last year. The leg room also wasn't great but that's expected in economy I guess."

This factor alone will cause me to choose Delta over others despite any small difference in price. Never waited very long in any line. Zero frustration."

I am very upset about this flight and will not fly with American ever again."

Luckily, my row of TVs did work and we had an empty seat between my daughter and me , so when my son's TV went out he sat in my row which did work. Great plane, once everything is fixed!"

I liked that they didn't skip row numbers, including 13. So if you're in row 22, for example, you know that's literally how many rows back you are."

There was also apparently an issue with the auxiliary power -- the lights went out in back half of plane when we arrived at gate. I prefer having a screen behind each seat, rather than those attached to ceiling on this flight, so that the entertainment can be customized."

Pros: "The flight was delayed by more than two hours which caused us (me, wife, 4yo, and 7mo) to miss our connection from LAX to HNL. We had to stay the night in LA and take a morning flight to HNL. But despite the delay, the gate agent in Charlotte did a good job of updating people and remained very polite even when it was clear people were getting frustrated and starting to get sharp with him. Pilots did a good job of trying to make up as much time as possible. I can't remember how much time they shaved off but I think it was more than 20 minutes. Customer service in LA was solid too. Went to CSD to get our tickets changed. They had already changed our flight to a 8 AM flight. We asked if we could take a later flight because of the kids and he was able to accommodate. They also gave us vouchers for 3 meals and a night at the Holiday Inn. Having a delayed flight is never fun but the AA staff was amazing throughout."

You just have to remember to bring food on the plane and then risk annoying your fellow passengers with the food/dinner dining space. More checks of drinks would be nice too. Cons: "I purchased the earliest flight of the day from Vegas to Los Angeles so I could be in LA by 11am so I could attend the 1pm Dodger game at dodger stadium... ( I specifically flew into lax for the game that I spent $100 on tickets for) well I arrived to LAS at 5am by 515am I received my first notification that my flight wouldn't be leaving until 1030am.... I was a little annoyed but hey I'm still going to make it to my game, ( I just needed to let my ride know who's lives 3 hours away from LA that my flight was going to be 3 hours late not to rush) well about an hour later I got another notification that my flight was now being pushed back to 230pm.... at this point I have no choice but to look for another flight.... I found another flight on Southwest leaving Las at 1210pm arriving in lax at 120pm... perfect I can still make my game... That flight was boarding on time... ran into some hiccups on the runway... arrive to lax at 130pm... not a problem can still make my game... sat on the runway at lax until 335.... needless to say I missed the game... while in the air I received another text that my American airline flights was now pushed back to 530pm... mind you my day started at 5am on Las Vegas to catch a flight out at 720am.... Now had I not found that other flight I would have been sitting around Vegas airport for over 12 hours.... I was not a happy flier today, specially because the actual flight is normally no more than 45 minutes start to finish... I could have rented a car and drove... would have been cheaper and I would have made it to my game ...."

This meant that when I arrive at LAX I was giving directions to the United Airlines terminal when I really needed to be at the terminal for Eva Airlines. This caused me to almost missed my flight with Eva Airlines. For the remainder of my trip EVA airline staff were quite grumpy with me for being 45 minutes late boarding. I actually am thankful that I believe they held the plane that 45 minutes for me. It just seems too convenient that the plans out there that long after its scheduled takeoff."

This flight was awful, uncomfortable, the plane smelled like a geriatric center and was dirty."

From what could be understood there was one person shouting the loudest. It sounded like a bar fight and all the passengers on the plan heard it all. We were all waiting to get out of the plane and listened to the whole argument. Very unprofessional. It will cause me choose another airline next time I fly."

While pilots seemed friendly, of two stewards, one was downright unpleasant and unhelpful, the other seemed pleasant but was more interested in reading his fashion magazine than providing service to passengers. Will not be flying Frontier again."

A couple traveling with us bought the trail mix, which was incredibly stale. He asked for water, which he never received. Fly Frontier only if there are absolutely no alternatives."

If anyone uses the bromide "the customer is all important", cite this example as proof positive of the lie that is that tired statement. This circumstance, was, essentially no one's fault and yet the employee reaction on behalf of Frontier airlines speaks volumes to the general attitude that the ORGANIZATION takes toward its paying customers. Due to delays on the first leg of the trip from DC to Denver, the connecting flight was missed. This is understandable on its own, as I have no expectation that a second flight would be held for me. However, the fact that Frontier, as an organization, feels ABSOLUTELY NO OBLIGATION WHATSOEVER to assisting their customers in arriving to their ultimate destination in a timely manner means they will never, EVER, get my money again. To make matters worse, the two options they DID offer, were unacceptable: 1) Offered a flight to an airport an hour away from my destination & 2) Offered a flight to my actual destination...two days later (in the airport on Tuesday; they offered to get me on a flight to my destination Thursday) AND this offer with absolutely no assistance regarding sleeping arrangements for TWO NIGHTS. In short, trip was complicated for which I do not blame Frontier. However, their complete lack of customer service to a paying customer ultimately has cost them future customers. My family travels frequently and I will certainly advise any and all persons I know NOT TO EVER TRAVEL ON FRONTIER AIRLINES! I will, however, recommend the FAR MORE CUSTOMER FRIENDLY DELTA airlines)"

Cons: "I travel a lot and understand that being a flight attendant isn't always a fun job, so I do my best to minimize my burden on them, but their attitudes made me feel like they despise their passengers and think we're all stupid. A couple crew members were nice, but the rude ones I interacted with ruined the experience. Also, not the employees fault, but they pitch you their crappy credit card for 10 mins then stuff brochures for it in your face. I'm already stuck on a plane in a cramped space next to someone who smells bad, I don't need advertisements that I literally cannot escape added on top of that. Their app is okay, but their website is awful. They nickel and dime left and right. Finally their seats are too short! I'm 6'2" and if I sit up straight and lean back, my head is over the top of the seat. I got suckered into a cheap fare but wish I would've paid $100 more for a half decent airline instead."

Cons: "Hidden fees! Beware! At no time were we made aware that it cost an extra $40 to bring a carry-on. Also, anything to eat or drink will cost you. NO complimentary snacks or beverages! Even on a 5-hour flight! Ridiculous. I'm surprised they don't charge you to use the restroom."

Cons: "I didn't like the marketing for other services that was done on the P.A. system. The presentation was too long and exhausting. Especially for a red-eye flight that was an hour late! May I suggest referring customers to written materials instead?"

Cons: "The staff was rude, line to check in luggage was huge because they were understaffed. If you don't get your bags checked in 45 minutes before your flight, you don't get on your flight. I had already been in line for 20 minutes and when I got the the desk at 40 minutes until my fllight, she said "too bad." Great Mother's Day for me sitting in the airport for 7 hours until the next flight out. Girl was horrible and totally rude. Never again."

Cons: "Look, it's a budget carrier. I get that. But I add a bag to my flight and my ticket is now what it would have cost to fly Southwest. I'm 6'4", and I *barely* fit into the seats. My knees touched the seat in front of me the whole flight. And the seats don't recline. To make everything just perfect, they lost my luggage on the flight home, and the lady who worked with Frontier who took all 15 (?) of us who had lost luggage over to make a claim said "this is normal for flights coming from Denver - it's a hub for Frontier, so luggage gets misplaced all the time." I'm sorry, that's not acceptable as an answer. I've never had a lost bag while flying with others, so that's what I will do from now on."

Pros: "I used to love flying Frontier—the airline with the cute animals on the tail of the planes. Now I call them the F word in airlines. If you want to fly Frontier, I want to make sure you’re forewarned. Their slogan is “A different kind of animal.” This animal is very cunning. And slightly savage. First, if you’ve been suckered into their $59 airfares, you already know what’s waiting for you. Wait. You actually want to fly back home? Well you’ll end up paying the same price as you would most any other airline. But wait…what’s this? Actually, their rates are about $100 cheaper than normal. What they don’t tell you is, they charge $30 for you to carry on your own baggage. I always thought it was ludicrous to charge me to carry my own bag onto a plane. Keep in mind that’s one way. So it’s $60 round trip. And that’s their discounted rate if you book online. It goes way up if you’re one of the unfortunates who wait till you’re at the kiosk to settle up with the Frontier Friskers. Oh, you say you want to actually choose your seat? That’s $13 minimum. For each leg of your trip. Don’t be surprised if they figure out a way to charge you for each leg of your body. That’s for a normal seat. If you don’t cough up the $13, they’ll randomly seat you wherever they want. I wouldn’t be surprised if they counted the lavatory as a possibility. So, that’s $60 for your own carry-on luggage. And a minimum $26 if you dare to choose your own cheap seat. Hmm. That $100 savings is looking rather slim right now. Speaking of slim, that describes their seats. And they don’t recline. You’re straight upright your whole trip. And the padding is about as comfortable as a cheap mattress in a cheap motel. The best way I can describe the feeling: Say you’re on Sesame Street and your job is to sit on the capital letter ‘L” for two hours. So while spending what feels like an eternity in L, maybe you’d like something to quench your thirst. That’s $1.99. Water? $1.99. A snack? $2.99. I’m surprised they don’t charge for toilet paper. By the square. (To be fair, I just learned that a cup of water is actually free. “For today,” said the flight attendant. “That could change.”) Nice Surprise: The people who work for Frontier are generally nice. But if this is the way Frontier treats their customers, how do they treat their employees? Do they make their mechanics buy their own tools? I wrote to the company to let them know how hugely disappointed I am with their changes. I never got the courtesy of a reply. I somehow like to imagine the CEO, in the true spirit of “no frills”, answering each customer letter by himself on an Olivetti typewriter from the 1970s. But I kind of doubt it. So there you have it. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. And if you have four arms, well, you might just fit their new slogan. Frontier Airlines: A whole different way to treat people like animals."
Cons: "Frontier's low fares which are deceptive. They charge you $60 for carrying your own bag! They charge you $13 per leg for the "privilege" of choosing your seat--even the normal seats. They charge you $1.99 for basic sodas offered by most every other airline for free. And they charge you $2.99 per snack. The seat are slim, terribly uncomfortable with virtually no padding and they don't recline! They don't respond when you write them."

I was supposed to fly on a Thursday, but because I was passing through Denver and a blizzard had closed the airport the DAY BEFORE, Frontier's flight was cancelled on Thursday. First I spend an hour and fifteen minutes on hold before finally giving up and calling back in the middle of the night. Then I waited fifteen minutes to speak to someone, who informed me that the earliest they could get me a flight would be TUESDAY. That is FOUR DAYS from my day of departure. My only options were a refund or a Tuesday flight. I asked to speak to a manager, but the employee refused to transfer me and eventually hung up on me. This was hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had with an airline. I am still fighting for a refund, after I had to purchase a day-of flight with another airline to reach my destination. It required me to fly from a different airport and to a different airport, which was a nightmare for my other travel plans. Needless to say, I will never fly Frontier airlines again, and will never recommend them to anyone."

Cons: "The remodeled interior puts the seats closer together from front to back and don't recline. That also limits the size of the tray table, which is tiny. Even as a tiny, short person, it was uncomfortable. For anyone of normal stature it would be torture. Paying for a "better" seat appears to provide very little if any added benefit, just keeps your party together. There is no entertainment, movies, music, or wifi so bring your battery pack charger. There is only expensive junk food to eat. My only option on my coast to coast flight was a red eye. So you arrived just wiped out. So if you do this to save money, in my overall assessment, it's just not worth it. I'll never do it again."

Leaving my 70 yr old mother at the gate for 8 hours...not cool.Tried calling airport, Frontier airlines...and besides giving my m,om a place on next flight at 6 30 am. No one and I mean no one at Frontier tried to help us get a safe place for my mom. Instead we got an international call center with a nice operator that did not understand us. You really need a call center in America, with real people that belong to our culture. Stop sending our customer service off our country...and for a change hire americans. By the way I need you to give my mom 5 free flights to Denver and to San Diego Round trip. Thanks!"

Pros: "Super low rate - on time flight a day after a massive storm blanketed Denver with a foot of snow. I assume I have to pay for each breath I take on a Frontier flight so it's never a surprise. A la carte is fine with me when a 3,000 mile round trip is $81.- Nice attendant at luggage check-in moved me to a window seat which was appreciated."

Pros: "The crew was great. We flew into some particularly bad weather and the cockpit crew did an excellent job landing the airplane. Some passengers even applauded once we were safely on the ground. The fair was - reasonable. The plane appeared to be new-ish and was pretty clean."
Cons: "A fee for EVERYTHING. I think I knew Frontier charged for everything but forgot when making my last minute reservation to see my ailing father. When it was time to check in on-line, it appeared every seat was either considered a premium seat or was not available. Middle seats and seats near the lav were considered premium. And the fee was either $20 or $35. I elected not to pay for a premium seat and took my chances that I would actually get a seat when I checked in at the counter. I believe they also charge for soda."

But coming Home from San Diego to DIA Dec 27.2015 my bag grew 2"inches longer and I was forced to pay a extra $45.00. It's was the same carry on bag I took to San Diego. I travel a lot and know many people all over the United States who travel and I would not ever return flying FRONTIER or would I recommend it to anyone else. P.S. I measure my carry one bag before I left Denver. Poor service!!!!!"
