The flight was transferred to a smaller plane, either because there were few passengers (the first story we heard) or because of mechanical problems on the original craft (the second story). Business class was oversold as a result, and boarding was delayed for an hour while they waited for enough BC passengers to accept 800 euros for the downgrade to economy plus. They repeatedly threatened to cancel the flight rather than raise the offer. Eventually enough knuckled under and we were allowed to leave. Some no doubt missed connections because of this petty brinkmanship. The funny coda is that because the plane was so undersold, anyone in economy that wanted their own row could have one, while economy plus was packed with the embittered and downgraded.

I didn't like the food
The crew was kind and helpful and the movie selections, food, and seats were all great.

Amsterdam customs is the most disorganized I have ever seen. With the number of tourists entering the country you would think they would have done something about it. There were only 2 customs agents!! One for all passports and 1 for all passports. We were in the customs hall longer than we were in flight!

KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Also, really tired of the fake business class on these flights...

YYC is a nice airport. I have found I like Canadian's more then Americans when it come to air travel.
LAX is not a convenient airport at all.
The flight was good, as well as the attentive staff
Kayak messed up royally by saying this flight was an Iberian. We went to the Iberian terminal as the email I received said the flight was an Iberian. After waiting on line for twenty minutes we were informed that this changed to an American Airlines/ British airways flight. We had to AirTran to the next terminal and almost missed the flight. Kayak needs to keep their customers better informed.
The actual flight was fine. But leading up to it not so much.
Please inform travelers that their passport must not expire within 3-6 months of their trip to France. I was unaware of this and was not allowed on our flight in Philadelphia because my passport would expire in two months. We lost an entire day in France because I had to go to the customs office the next morning and get an emergency passport. I travel frequently, but somehow was not aware of this rule. If I had known I would have fixed the issue months ago. Multiple people viewed my ticket and passport before arriving in Philadelphia and no one caught this error until right as I was boarding the flight to Paris.
First Class seating was of course better than economy.
Flight to Maui had no Mai Tai drinks available, no heated towels, no dessert, barely any service from the flight attendant(s).
The movie selection was great, the movie player barely worked.
The movie player/touch screen barely worked. The food is terrible.
