In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory."

When booking a flight out of the country it would be nice if Air .com could of mention that to me. We were trying to get to a cruise we had already paid for that was going out of Spain. They would not work with me at all and cx my whole booking. When I tried to talk to them on the phone the man could not speak very good English and was not making any since at all. I let him talk to the British Airlines counter manager and the manager tried to explain that he would have to rebook us that he could not. Air.com was horrible and never helped us out at all. They should not be in business . I paid them of course months ago and I was just out the 1400.00 dollars. British Airlines was amazed that they did nothing to help us out."

The wheel chair attendant who initially took me to my gate in Las Vegas was very friendly, and helpful, and she did everything she could possibly have done, short of leaving another passenger to come take care of me, which wouldn't have been right. I was there when she called her supervisor and advised him/her of my location and of my needs and she received confirmation. Was not her fault."
Cons: "I checked in with American and a wheel chair attendant assisted me to my gate. My wheel chair needed charged and I was two hours early, so the attendant sat me at the charging station because there were no outlets in the gate area. She contacted her supervisor to advise of my location and that I would need assistance. Nobody came for me. I gathered my things the best I could and struggled to get to the gate to get attitude from the gate agent, telling me the wheel chair attendant was there looking for me. What ever happen to using a paging system when you know the passenger who is disabled checked in two hours earlier? Had someone paged, maybe I could have flagged their attention, or maybe they could have called the company in charge of handling their wheel chair attendance and would have known where I could be located. Either way, the attitude is uncalled for, especially when I apologized and stated that the wheel chair attendant was expected to help me."

Usually there will be a line already formed and everyone will be waiting for them to open the gate at any moment. Their seats are not comfortable either. So if you add everything up, you can say flying with Spirit Airways is not very desirable."

Rude Spirit employees at baggage check-in and on the plane - it was clear their job was to find some way to charge more money. A bag that weighed 39 LBS in Houston and had the same clothes weighed 43 LBS in Seattle and resulted in a weight overcharge fee as they only allow 40LBS Max for checked luggage when everyone else allows more. No updates during flight of ETA. No entertainment options."

Pros: "Pricing I received was excellent. I'm not mentioning it here because these "super low" fares come and go with the wind and it may never come around again. Anyway, for what I paid, I was super impressed with the quality of the interior of the plane, my seating, and the overall comfort on the flight. I take these short flights from time to time to different cities, and in the future, I hope there is a Spirit airlines route for the city I choose."

Departure and arrival were on time, and the service people on board seemed nice and accommodating, although I didn't really have to deal with them at all. Of course, it would be nice to have had a "first class" width seat and tons more legroom, but I took this flight because of the price. So I overlook all that. I'm only 5'7" tall, kind of a little guy, so the ride might have been uncomfortable if I had been tall and "big". Overall, I'm SUPER PLEASED and look forward to the next ride with Spirit!"

Pros: "I hardly ever write reviews, but I am disappointed in my experience last weekend so I figured I'll write one. I booked my flight through a third party and when it came time for me to check in online on Spirit, I was unable to do so because the spirit website said I was not a member, and when I tried registering for the membership, it wouldn't take my information, saying that my name was not matching the passenger name, even though it was. I was unable to check in online and had to pay $55 for my bag at the airport, instead of a lesser amount had I checked in online. I tried calling spirit customer service and they will not reimburse me for the difference and they put me on hold for over 30munites, I had to hang up for the first call after waiting so long, and they hang up on me on the second call, even after waiting the line for so long. Needless to say that I won't be flying spirit anymore."

When I arrived, I explained to the attendant by kiosk and he said not to worry and get in line. When I got in line, and waited, I was told the flight was full and I would have to catch another flight. I am frustrated with this airline and everytime I fly with Spirit, I say NEVER AGAIN. Well, this time I mean it....NEVER AGAIN! When you consider the cost of paying for any luggage you take, and in my case, the cost of a room for another night, it was certainly not worth the savings I expected to get."

I drove 50 miles out of my way to take Spirit and with all the extra charges, it negated my savings AND the flight was the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced."

My luggage was ruined (they ripped open the top of the suitcase and there was a huge hole in it) and she said all she could do is give me a $25 credit for our next flight and we'd have to put through a claim first and wait. Then when we asked for a supervisor she said there's no point in calling him because he won't help us. The supervisor finally came and refunded us what we paid for our luggage but that still doesn't even come close to covering the cost of our luggage."

Cons: "Not comfortable Having to pay all the extra charges for baggage and food"
Pros: "I like that the airfare is cheap, there is good enough space for leg room and that the overhead luggage bins have enough space for everyone's luggages."
Cons: "I was dismayed that I have to pay additional $17+tax to reserve a seat. I thought that the airfare I paid for included the seat. And of course, there is that fact that the baggage is very limited in terms of number and size. And not even a free soda or juice."

Pros: "First time flying spirit and most people I spoke with said that the flights are normally late. And they were exactly right it was supposed to leave at 6:25 we didn't leave until 7 p.m."

Cons: "They charge for every little thing: $17 to check in online and pick a seat $65 to bring a bag on plane. Not to check it but carry on!!!!! Seats are much smaller than other airlines, no leg room & they do not recline. Never again."
Pros: "If you can afford the choice, you DO NOT want to go Spirit. We spent 1.4 hours IN LINE to check our PREPAID BAG. Yes, 1.4 hours. This idea may go better in Europe, but folks here don't take such ridiculousness well."
Cons: "WE do all the work in advance, including paying them handsomely for what we ACTUALLY got -- an unexpected nightmare. HUNDREDS of people all backed up in one line for about 4 departing flights with what looked like FIVE agents to handle it ALL. TWO hours in advance barely got us onboard. Heed this warning and get there 3 in adv. This kind of chaos at a US airport is not good, and I won't be subscribing to it again."
Cons: "The airline nickel and dimes everything. The cost of checking a bag is expensive. After you book the flight you still have to pay extra to choose your seat. Bring a snack and pray that the person in the seat behind you is not tall because you will have their knees in your back the whole trip. Don't bring a carry on, it costs just as much as checking a bag, and when you reach your destination keep your eyes open in baggage claim, it took them 4 tries to send us to the correct claim area."
