On the other hand, not very nice either. They also didn't allow to take the guitar on-board due to a short & full flight saying the above part was too small. When I got on however, there was clearly room there. It could have been human error, but still disappointing nonetheless. They said there would be no track so it should safe, which it was, but it was left out in the rain for a minute or two so the soft case was somewhat wet. I don't think any permanent damage occurred."

Cons: "Icelandair changed our scheduled flight’s airplane to a larger airplane to support stranded passengers from other flights. This was a good move for other passengers, but not for us. When they did this, the split my husband and I up by 10 rows! We were booked together on the same booking! We called the airline to fix this, but they refused because we booked through Kayak. We found a very nice counter agent at the airport who was able to move us to the back of the plane together. It is important to note that if you are in the front of the plane, you do not need to preorder food in order to insure that you get the meal you want. We flew Icelandair previously, and it was good experience. Since we did not know about the seat move, we didn’t preorder food for the 6+ hour flight. By the time they got to the back, they were out of nearly everything. We are unsure if Icelandair will be our choice next time we go back to Iceland. We appreciate their work to fix the other’s travel issues, however they missed the little details that could have wowed all of the passengers."

It just makes the whole experience so much easier. And for less than the price of a lot of domestic flights, you can jump on the plane to Iceland. The seats all have touch screen TVs, so there were a bunch of entertainment options. Overall, pretty great."

So then it meant that a lot of people were lined up and crowded around the boarding area, which had very few seats. We were then put on a bus and taken to the plane. It all seemed pretty haphazard. Clearly, not a deal-breaker. But not an ideal final memory of the trip either."

It was overcrowded to the point of being uncomfortable and there was a 30min+ wait to buy food from the only shop. As a result we did not have time to grab a bite to eat between flights. My partner was subjected to additional TSA checks which I am aware is a random check and a nescessity but due to the amount of flights departing for the US this took an extra hour, and delayed our flight. I'm thankful that Iceland Air didn't leave without us but it was an immensely stressful experience that I don't wish to go through again."

There is not enough sitting area for passengers waiting for connections, and there was at least one other flight departing from a nearby gate at the same time as ours. We could not hear the boarding announcements at all, and it seemed the boarding agents just started letting on the people who were closest to the gate, instead of boarding from the rear of the plane first."

First we had no warning that Gate D would require such an extensive wait, so we spent too long in terminal eating and then panicked that we might miss our flight. Next there was a problem boarding our plane. There weren't enough buses, so we spent over an hour standing in a cramped line that snaked down the hall in an extremely crowded airport with people trying to squeeze though us. It was really uncomfortable. The worst was the crew waited to process people and send them in to the waiting area until a bus arrived, so this added to the wait time. I think tourism is popular in Iceland now and you all need to figure out how to make your systems better. I loved Iceland but I wold seriously need to think hard before booking another flight with you."

I got all I asked for including bubbly in economy! I like to stay awake on the way back to the US and asked for two coffee's and a bubbly, a ginger and an OJ just before dinner & refills on cafe. Of course I thought I was pushing it to ask for it all at once, but they laughed, proceeded to fill my wishes and with a good sense of humor asked If I wanted anything else! I actually got everything I asked for! Super!"

I prefer the aisle as I like to get up a lot and hate to annoy others who may prefer not to get up every time I do. I was lucky that the flight had plenty of empty seats and was able to move to an aisle after asking. What happens on a full flight? I would have been really upset. What is the point of pre-booking one' s seat? If the plane is changed, BA ought to take care to make sure a pre-booked seat gets a window/aisle near the row they chose. I suspect that is more important than the row on a long flight."

Pros: "The flight itself went smoothly despite some windy conditions, and we were transported in one piece, without incident, from LHR to IAD. The crew members were pleasant in conversation and reasonable in frequency of food service. Once, when I pressed the attendant button, one of them came quickly to ask me what the problem was, and that kind of responsiveness is always a plus, in my opinion. The seats reclined a reasonable amount, not the mere 2-5 cm one sometimes experiences lately."

Several times I tried to return it to upright as the end of the flight neared, and it would easily move but would return to reclined once I leaned back. It was as if I had been the whole time keeping my finger on the button that makes the seat movable. After I'd about given up, the seat finally stayed upright even when I put my weight back on it. My flight attendant misunderstood my drink request, but I let it go because the result was close to what I had asked for. It could have been that there was too much background noise - not sure."

I was flying business class on flight TP059 on March 4 2018 and have Gold status on Star Alliance. Many passengers had declined dessert and I felt extremely embarrassed by having been denied food on a plane for the first time in my life. The attitude and lack of tact of Comissario Bruno on TP059 spoiled the whole flight experience for me."

It had a link to pay for 'additional services' but not luggage. At the time of booking, I checked and the price given was $35. So, I have protested the additional $55 with my CC company and will see what happens. BTW the luggage was not overweight. They turned off all the lights, including my personal reading lamp, so I could not read and had to just sit there doing nothing. That really blew big chunks. I only got two small glasses of wine."
Cons: "This event refers to my TAP flight from Lisbon to Heathrow on 21-Jan-2018. We arrived to the airport nearly 2 hours before departure time, waited 35min in the security checks and my girlfriend was held 20min in the passport control. While she was queuing for the 2no police officers to check her passport, an airport assistant came to the queue and asked who was due to board in TP364 to Heathrow. She was made aware that my girlfriend was there due to board that flight. In the meantime I made my way to the gate to make the gate assistants aware that she was held in the passport checks and was already on her way to the gate. Having said that, the zealous assistants in the gate have closed the gate in front of me, 18min before scheduled departure time and - "very kindly" - told me that I wouldn't be boarding that flight anymore even though my girlfriend have arrived in the meantime. One can imagine the frustration I felt finding out that the flight departure was delayed and that the flight actually departed 40min late. At that time I was already suffering the extortion of the customer service from TAP, claiming from me circa 400Eur from each of us for a one way ticket in the next flight to London. Therefore... until I remember this... I AM NOT FLYING TAP ANYMORE... I am very proud of being Portuguese but in similar situations that occurred with me flying British Airways, Lufthansa or Air Italia, I have always been treated with much more respect and customer care!"

We were in line for passport and then security and talked to several TAP employees and they said we would be have time and wouldn't have a problem catching the second flight. Well, we got through the lines with 30 min before our next flight and they wouldn't let us on. Customer service and organization of the airline is really poor. The aircraft had minimal room and no entertainment. We got on our next flight five hours later and all they gave us was a $10 food voucher. So poorly managed."

The screen on my iPhone is bigger than the screen on the seatback which if compared to other airlines is not up to the mark.
