The trip from LAX to Calgary was aboard a 737-700, which is more than twenty years old. Service was fine, and the food was good, but there was no inflight entertainment, and no WiFi. The flight from Calgary to Vancouver was also delayed more than an hour, due to congestion on the Calgary tarmac. And no food service, but there was in-flight WiFi which made a big difference.

They cancelled and moved my flight with no email or text or any other notice. I discovered this only when I attempted to check in for my flight. Actual flying experience was above average.

The seats very Uncomfortable, no meal and no entertainment for a 4Hours flight. Smooth Flight, Great Take off and landing. Superb crew!

West Jet flight was cancelled and I was not notified. I found out when I tried to check in on-line. Spent 4 hours on the phone with West Jet and Just Fly trying to figure what happened.

The flight was ahead of schedule. A half glass of juice and a cookie is pathetic! No entertainment possibilities. Not even a plug-in for phone or IPad if you wanted to watch a downloaded movie. Back to flying Air Canada!

Horrible. I checked out myself that it seems that I can have a free carry-on. But they ask me to pay $75 when we are nearly boarding. It was tricky during check out that make you mistake that you can have a carry-on beside your personal item. Also they ask $75 in the airport instead of $35 during checkout. So the whole process is designed to make you this mistake

Plane should have entertainment, instead of people paying to use wifi

Flight was delayed. Arrived in Vancouver at 3 am. Not a great experience.

Trip was uneventful which is good. Boarding took a long time due to many disabled/elderly requiring assistance which again is fine. Landing and take off were excellent. Food and entertainment were as expected, bring your own if you have preferences otherwise you get what you get.

Our seats that I had paid extra for near the front of the aircraft were no longer available on this replacement aircraft. We were told we either had to accept the new replacement seats in row 27 near the back in seats E and B, no longer together, or sit in the very back in row 30 squeezed into E and F seats that do not recline or have trays that provide a flat platform for a refreshment. This is not what I had expected. However, again your flight crew did the best they could given the circumstances.

The flight left late and I didn’t get a glass of bubbly upon boarding (which I’m used to when booking business class on other flights), but otherwise it was a pleasant flight with lovely, helpful crew members and I enjoyed my meal.

The crew was really nice. The plane seats were kinda small even for a 5’6” / 158 lbs person.

Re luggage I carried a backpack only. I did not check any bags in. However there were other passengers with carry on luggage going in the plane. My question is why are others allowed to have a carry on luggage inside the plane? Shouldn’t they have dropped it off at the gate? I’m asking because I could have brought the same thing instead of a backpack only. Please clarify for future reference. Thank you.

Like the service. Very hard to communicate or contact when have problems

Somehow, my booking was under my preferred name instead of my legal name so they almost didn’t let me board the plane at LAX. This problem should have been notified to me when I was still in Toronto.

I liked nothing about this flight nor the incredible lack of service and communication on this flight from the Captain to every staff member. Arrogant, entitled and lacking any kind of basic customer service

Very pleasant crew! Good entertainment options. Water wasn’t working in the bathrooms, but they were able to fix it. Just had to stand with sticky soap hands for 20min….

I did not appreciate being scolded by the captain himself, and being told my dog could die, in front of my daughter.

My flight from LAX to toronto, of 6 hrs, and no food was served. I expected lunch but they gave only a soft drink and a biscut. Very sorry to say it was terrible.

Our first flight to Toronto was awesome. Especially because of the flight attendant. She treated my kids and I so well and was so kind to my little 5 year old birthday boy. The smiles and kindness she shared with us made it everything for my kids to fly with Air Canada. But our second connecting flight didn’t have any entertainment or TVs and the crew was okay. Not great but just okay
