Cons: "Having to walk from concourse b to concourse e for my connecting flight in less than 15min before the doors were shut. Was literally in my seat for 5min and the door was shut. Most people (older or families) would have missed it. Shame on CLT or American Airlines"

Cons: "AA flight into Miami delayed due to late arrival of aircraft, followed by significant delay on the tarmac waiting for another plane to leave. This then delayed getting bags that required rechecking. At the AA booth, even though I was 42 minutes before the flight, they would not let me check my bags (not 45 minutes before) requiring me to stay in Miami overnight before booking me on a standby flight the next day. Customer service representatives were unhelpful and supervisor was rude. As someone who travels a lot, this was the worst service I have ever received from an airline (which says quite a bit). Will rethink ever booking a trip on American again."

Pros: "When I saw that our BA flight would be operated by AA, I was concerned, given previous poor experiences with American airlines. However, in this case, AA was pretty good, especially the check-in staff at Rome Airport who were excellent. The check-in, boarding and de-boarding processes all went well. Plane was relatively modern, with USB charging ports for phones. Movie selection was good, though the TV selection could be expanded. The food was ok. Seating not bad. All of our luggage, including a child's carseat, was delivered on time and intact. Pleasantly surprised."

Cons: "One hour delay on account of missing signatures from some mechanic according to the captain’s weak and shallow account of the facts. Flew with a 1st class upgrade to DFW and upon missing the connection to DSM (imputable to AA) I would have expected AA to have me await my later conection (3 hrs AA 2488) in the Admiral’s club especially after having paid for the upgrade. Instead, the bozo at the Admiral’s Club entrance in Terminal A A23 indicated that only Mexico City passengers were allowed into the Club even if as a GDL passenger I had a 1st class boarding pass. Poor and misguided management of the moment of truth on behalf of your employee with a 1 Million Miler customer. My experience recently with Delta and United has been with more open minded, customer centric and better trained airline staff. Disappointing and hope someone will read this and let me know that my note was heard. What is next?"

Cons: "Flight to and from AL on American Airlines were both canceled - I was switched to Delta on the ‘to’ trip and stuck in AL another night on ‘home’ trip"

Cons: "We boarded a bit late. No big deal. Once on, however, they made us deboard because they forgot to do a security check. Oops. Flight attendants made the experience much better -- funny, enthusiastic, hard-working."

Pros: "Flight kept being pushed back multiple times. left about 3 hrs late. Then after boarding and waiting to take off, the pilot tells us a light came on the "dash" and he has to have maintenance come to check it. That takes another 30 plus minutes. Not a good start to the morning."

Cons: "The airline is so outdated and behind the times of their competitors, their in that they don't have in flight entertainment unless you download their app and give them your email address. On top of that when I originally booked my flights, I had made sure to have 1.5 hr for a layover between my connecting flights. Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

Received multiple calls from Avianca but all in Spanish until fifth one in English hung up once we confirmed we understood there was a delay. Staff communicated different directions. Only one cafe to wait in. Substitute breakfast served was underwhelming. Plane was incredibly dated with life vests strewn about/not tucked away. Upon deboarding, incredibly unclear that we had to completely exit and go back through security, meaning we had no time between flights for the restroom or to buy water."

Woman was very gracious and understanding that she was asking for an accommodation. Ends up her flight to Philly had been moved to a different gate after they had found a volunteer to switch seats. Volunteer was totally unfazed but Desk crew made it seem as tho the Muslim mom was at fault for the time and trouble they had had to go through to accommodate her. She apologized profusely and was very appreciative for the trouble evernote had gone to for her. . As she walked away the crew looked at each other and shook their heads. Pretty crummy way to treat customers!"

Cons: "The flight attendant was unfriendly at boarding. He did not say or play any pre-flight safety announcements. We were told the flight might have to refuel in Richmond due to major weather delays in LGA. When we were landing they said they expected a refuel and a quick turnaround in Richmond. On the plane after landing, I learned via my phone's internet the flight was cancelled. They never announced it on the plane. At the final moment before we disembarked, the crew told us to be sure to take our belongings. When we landed, Flightaware showed delays of 45 minutes at LGA. AA never took responsibility for the problem though the gate crew mentioned they canceled the flight because the crew was going to be over their maximum hours. AA really couldn't plan to allow for up to an hour delay? I feel disrespected and even deceived. Although it was clear that flight attendant really needed to get off that plane. At the gate, we were told there were no available flights to NYC and were stranded overnight in Richmond. AA did offer a hotel pretending it was a courtesy since they claimed the problem was weather related and not theirs. We chose to stay with relatives and were told AA could only provide transportation from the airport which we did not need. We often have problems and cancellations on this route from when it was branded a US Air route to the present, but this was egregious."

Cons: "After being in DFW airport for 10hrs all I wanted to do was watch a movie on board and sleep. Go figure, my TV didn't work. I called the attendant and she said she would reset them. The "resetting process" took a while. She attempted, and the other stewardess did as well. They said that the TV issue that *some* of the people were experiencing wasn't able to be fixed by them and only by the company that provides it's service. So there wasn't anything that could be done. I know that at least the two guys that were traveling next to me had issues with the tv monitors as well. It was just driving it home that I will never fly on American Airlines again. I don't ask for much these days while flying, it's not like it's a luxury anymore. But the saddest part is that customer satisfaction is completely out of the question. Just pay the extra money and fly another airline. -Deidre Fugate"

After the first one resolved, we were inches away from takeoff when the captain came on to tell us something went wrong and we would need to be towed back to the terminal. After waiting for the ground crew to come rescue us, we started pushing backwards but then forwards again. Captain came on and said the problem was fixed. Once we landed at Toronto Pearson from Mexico City, there were no available gates. The movies see election available through streaming on Air Canada Rouge had fewer movies and shows than the tablet you could rent from the airline."

Cons: "The flight kept getting delayed bc of mechanical problems, and then eventually cancelled. They rebooked everyone on new flights, but it took an extra stop in Toronto before getting us to Montreal. Once it was rebooked for the morning, it took off a little late. Plus the pretzels they gave us were stale. This was the first of two flights I took this trip that had mechanical issues, so they obviously need to fix their planes better or get new ones, because two Air Canada flights in one day that have mechanical problems leaves me worried that the planes aren't in optimal condition. It took me over 24 hours to get from Tucson, AZ to Montreal, Canada when normal travel takes less than 8 hours including layovers."

I THINK IT WOULD BE GOOD TO HAVE ALL THE PARENTS WITH INFANTS/BABIES TO SIT IN A SECTION DESIGNATED FOR THEM TO ACCOMMODATE THEIR NEEDS AS A FAMILY. IT DOESNT MAKE FOR A PLEASANT FLIGHT WITH BABIES CLIMBING ALL OVER THE SEATS. I GET THATS IT DIFFICULT TO TRAVEL WITH BABIES AND KEEP THEM ENTERTAINED WHICH IS WHY ITS BETTER TO BE AROUND OTHER PARENTS IN THE SAME SITUATION. THEY CAN SUPPORT EACH OTHER."

Pros: "The crew was friendly, quick, and helpful. The seats were comfortable, we had space for our carry on items, and there was a good selection of entertainment and food/snack options. Takeoff and landing were also very smooth - the pilot did a fantastic job!"
Cons: "On an international flight (or any flight over 3 or 4 hours) I believe it would be courteous to provide a meal as part of the ticket price. We purchased food on board as it was a five hour flight from Mexico City to Toronto. The food was good with a variety of options, but it seems that Air Canada should update its policy to offer complimentary food service on longer flights."

The airplane food gave me food poisoning and I had to spend the night in the ER. 3. My flight the next morning was delayed by 3hrs. Meanwhile, other flights to the same destination were taking off with no problem."

Pros: "One flight attendant in particular stood out to me. She was extremely friendly and pleasant the whole flight. Flying is not always the easiest experience, especially during a 12 hour journey. Her positive attitiude definitely made it more bearable. Excellent customer service!"

Which was very frustrating since we were traveling with two kids and were the last to leave waiting for the bag that never made it. At Newark, the lady that handled our missed bag claim had little customer service skills. All she said was that it was common for stuff like that to happen. Just that experience might make this the first and last time I use Air Canada again."

I was second in line and I stood there for over 30 minutes. Then once we boarded the flight, the crew was very rude when speaking to customers. Overall the crew was very unorganized and extremely rude."

We almost didn't make it to the flight, only because we have double citizenship and we could board with our other passport. Front desk made us a lot of trouble in accepting the other passports because the name is not the same in both documents (one married last name other one with single last name) Strongly suggest adding a pop up when there are specific visa requirements."

Cons: "I was traveled no with my wife and my son to Des Moines andI documented our 3 bags in Mexico City and "the first surprise" was that they charged in Mexico n I he front desk about $27 USD per bag...it seemed that the bags were also passengers and " needed to pay"... The big other surprise was when we got to Des Moines and realized all the bags were opened!...my wife's jewelry was stolen!!!! UNITED AIRLINES SUCK!!!!!"

Cons: "No food, just some pretzel, no entertainment for free, no space fir the carry on, the flight attendants were absents,e flight was delayed, they were no organized embarking the plane. United everyday is getting worst. I am gonna try not to fly with them anymore."

Pros: "United is very reputable airline with great pilots and safety record. Prior to leaving for Mexico, the plane was examined amd found a 'mechanical issue'. All of the passengers were immediately switched to a different airplane. The safety of the airline and the pocedures used to ensure the craft was 100% was very comforting."
Cons: "I was bothered by the fee to check in 1 bag and the lack of food and ebtertainment upon the return flight from Mexico to Los Angeles. During the entire 4 hour flight, passengers were offered a bag of chips and nothing else, not even for purchase. Thus particular plane didn't have any screen for entertainment. I was most bothered by the baggage fee of $50 ($25 each way ) because the ticket price doesnt reflect an airline that charges for necessary things."

Cons: "I am furious with Kayak. I bought online 1105 am flight and it switched me without permission. When I arrived at airport and realized what happened I had no choice but to pay 150 USD to return it to my original purchase. Kayak owes me 150 USD. Thank You"

In the MEX - ORD flight, we stood waiting with our boarding groups for at least 30 minutes. United seems to do well on my domestic flights, but international, I may consider a different airline next time."

I missed a business meeting with the city and now have to spend more money on a hotel room and rental car as I have to extend my stay as the city is not open for a meeting until Monday. This is absolutely ridiculous"
