Pros: Arrived early, and that was good.
Cons: food was sub par . first class so so
Pros: Crew was amazing and friendly. Clean, chargers for phones in front of the seat and free WiFi for messaging on board.
Cons: Offered free movie watching but our iPhones didn’t have plugs for earbuds, so we couldn’t enjoy it because it would disturb others having the sound on.
Pros: One of the passengers was a no show! I got to move over to the aisle and have the empty seat between us!
Cons: First class!
Cons: Flight from Seattle to anchorage late one hour
Pros: The crews were very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Friendly. Good price!
Cons: Seats hardly reclined and had little padding
Pros: Because of seat screwup we were comped meals, entertainment drinks etc enjoyed the attention Good leg room
Pros: Alaska flight crew treated treated my violin with extra care. Thanks!
Cons: The flight was terrible. The lady in front of me had no idea how to discipline a child. Her son screamed the entire flight.
Pros: Boarding process was smooth and efficient Bathroom was clean.
Cons: Very little personality of maim cabin FA. Cordial and courteous. Nothing being that. Small jet but one main cabin bathroom?
Pros: Crew was great, food was okay, Gogo inflight was fine. Everything about the entire experience, TSA to arrival baggage carousel, was fine - except for the delayed departure. 2.5 hours due to air traffic control at the destination.
Cons: The delay- even though I know it wasn’t an Alaska Airlines delay, still delayed me seeing my mom for another day... she’d gone to sleep by the tome I arrived.
Pros: The smooth ride and excellent crew.
Pros: Other think was okay
Cons: No update for delay
Pros: Very friendly flight crew. Smooth boarding. Got in a 1/2 hour early!
Pros: Pilot was friendly and let us take pictures.
Pros: The flight was on time, the crew was friendly and they even served is lunch which was tasty.
Cons: My only minor complaint is they charge $8 to watch a movie.
Pros: On time Helpful
Pros: Enough leg room, even for the middle seat, frequent beverage service and attendant, well, attendants
Pros: I felt like there was ample leg room, and liked that the back of the plane boarded before the middle of the plane.
Cons: The scripts didn't sound well rehearsed, and disrupted my audiobook longer than. Necessary
Pros: The attendants are really great.
Cons: 3 hour delay. After boarding we sat on runway while the missing culinary cart was found and then paperwork needed to be completed and then we needed to be de-iced and then we're able to take off. Very long wait for luggage.
Cons: The flight was 4 hours late-when I got to the gate they announced they didn't know where the plane was coming from San Jose. Later they said it hadn't left. They gave us vouchers for dinner which I appreciated.
Pros: I’m 6’3”, more legs than upper body. We sat in row 19 of a 737-900 and I had plenty of leg room in the middle seat. The middle eastern chicken meal was delicious! Free Wi-Fi for chatting/iMessages was really nice.
Cons: The broccoli in my meal was brown and yellow. How is that possible? I didn’t have the app for watching movies. And I didn’t want to pay for wireless in order to download the app to watch free entertainment. So their network team should allow their firewall opend up to whatever port that can make that happen.
Cons: My emotional therapy dog of 7 pounds got part of her paw ripped off on an airport escalator. Though she was bleeding profusely all over me, I was not allowed to use the first aid kit to bandage her. I had to bring her to an emergency vet upon landing in Minneapolis
Pros: Our flight attendant was excellent. Because I'm a vegetarian, he gave me a salad. Alaska does not provide but one meal choice in first class. Food options are way better in coach.
Cons: Seats are uncomfortable and meal choice is poor.
Pros: I liked being able to watch movies for FREE
Pros: Crew was professional, plan was clean,
Cons: Plane was late
Pros: Nice clean plane. Very nice stewards.
Cons: Could use a light blanket.
Pros: Traveling alone - upgraded to first class - I was wearing a boot for a broken metatarsal bone, so it was awesome to have more room/comfort!
Pros: I liked the amount of space in my seat! Cushy chairs leg room event tilted back
Cons: Totally Happy!
Pros: Lost luggage for a day
Cons: They canceled the flight with no warning, had no customer representatives to help people make other arrangements, and had a very short window of time to file for a refund. Absolutely sub par experience.
Pros: The staff was fine, and food/drinks were as expected.
Cons: The flight kept getting delayed, which is something that happens, but there was little communication about it.
Pros: Everything on time Friendly crew
Cons: Uncomfortable seats Food and entertainment n/a
Pros: It was a great flight well taken care off had a window seat and fell asleep
Pros: Arrived on time even with delayed start
Cons: Short delay
Cons: Landing took forever, stearing on plane malfunctioned, worst experience of my life
Pros: Leg space big, crew fun and considerate
Pros: Flight was on time, entire staff smiling and friendly. I don't travel much and everyone was pleasantly helpful
Cons: Not much I didn't like, the whole experience was super.
Cons: Not enough room in the seats
Cons: Large people that take up part of your seat should be forced to pay for first class. Uncomfortable ride for me
Cons: Baggage was lost
Pros: The crew was very friendly and helpful and the flight was very smooth
Pros: The crew was really good, made sure our needs were met.
Cons: The seats were quite crammed.
Pros: The crew were very nice and the seats were comfy.
Cons: I would have liked a snack instead of just a beverage alone.
Pros: Wireless entertainment and seat spacing on the airbus
Cons: Boeing seats are too close together. Space them out
Pros: Crew was nice, boarding went smoothly.
Cons: As always, seats are very tight and not super comfortable... but that’s true for all airlines these days, unfortunately.
Pros: Organized gate
Cons: Information on delay boarding
Cons: Internet WiFi
Cons: We were delayed for an hour sitting in the tarmac because of “VIP” which sucked
Cons: Watched a handicap elderly lady put in the middle of economy and a young small healthy male bumped to first class. crew not prioritizing the elderly. With 16" of isle space an eastern crew member tried to push a airline wheelchair down the crowded isle. Treating paying passengers as llivestock
Pros: Safe flight. Thank you!
Pros: I liked that this plane was not full and they work to make sure you don’t have to sit next to someone in that case. I travelled with my small 7lb Pomeranian and he easily fit down below under my seat with plenty of room. The flight is less than an hour so you can’t expect much more than that. Crew were fantastic and nice during our brief interactions.
Cons: No WiFi, no snacks because of the bumby ride
Cons: Food was not necessarily to our liking.
Pros: Seem to be a smooth and direct flight
Cons: The flight was fine however my seat was next to the bathroom and people would occasionaly Bump in to me .
Pros: The flight was unremarkable
Cons: The loading was 1hr late because United had to move the plane to the proper gate. No leg space, but that's my 6'-4" body's fault.
Cons: The legroom is non-existent. I sure wish airlines didn't try to put so many seats in each aircraft.
Pros: The flight was overall good, there it was simple and i got what I paid for. First class would have been worth the upgrade Im 6'6" and i was good for legroom.
Cons: They lost my bag. Very huge issue followed. Staff was very helpful in getting me on track with who and when to talk with people however!
Pros: Flight was quick and the flight attendants were nice
Cons: I'm 6' tall and my head was above the headrest, so it wasn't super comfortable to lay back.
Cons: Wi-Fi did t work for most of the flight.
Pros: Service and respect very good
Pros: Not much. The plane left ontimefrom SF,got toMplsontime.
Cons: Bought a basic economy ticket: 3 emails warning about luggage restrictions - demeaning! Can't download boarding passes from own computer- must be done at airport under supervision of United staff: "have to check and see what bags you're bringing"!. Last to board! Seat assignments done at the gate; instructed to see gate attendant, who says, "Take a seat, we'll call you". Finally, in SF, gate person says,"You bought a restricted ticket, we have to watch you"! I didn't buy lousy customer service!
Pros: On time, friendly, overall great!
Pros: The trip went smoothly and it was on time. The Crew was nice and efficient
Cons: We didn't even make our flight because our previous Delta flight was late getting in... fummy thin was that the United flight to Redding was running more than 30 min behind schedule and they said they would not put out bags on the plane. They would have had 35 minutes to do so.
Pros: The price of a ticket is slightly lower. It is not enough of a difference to make the plethora of inconveniences worth it. You are not a valued customer with this fare. If United values customers, they shouldn't offer this fare. That's why I don't fly the bargain airlines.
Cons: You can't check in at the kiosk on basic economy without an employee badge swipe, and there were no employees available. I had to stop checking in, wait in line, and then the employee that I talked to didn't have the right kind of badge to swipe. So I waited again. Extremely inconvenient. Even after being forced to talk to a ticket agent at check in, they still won't issue a seat. So you have to go to the gate and wait in line again to get a seat. The system is built for maximum inefficiency. It doesn't cost less for them to make me talk to two separate people, it is only to inconvenience the flyer for buying a cheaper ticket. It seems like a punitive system. Boarding was organized and painless. The crew seemed polite. Regarding comfort, the "leg room" on the airbus is ridiculous. I am average height and felt claustrophobic. I can't imagine how a tall person feels. There was no " entertainment" on my flight, so one star for that. I didn't not receive any food and was not offered water, 1 star.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Very smooth bag check. It was crowded but the line moved quickly. Boarding was very organized and easy to maneuver. The flight was very enjoyable and we actually landed 20 minutes early. United has once again provided an excellent flying experience!
Cons: There was no part of the entire united experience I did not like.
Pros: Easy boarding, on time take off
Cons: Arrived early (yay), but had to sit on the runway for 45 minutes waiting for a gate and ended up getting to the gate later than the original expected time. Pretty ridiculous.
Pros: Healthy options maybe apples or something, and cheaper for snack packs. Ability to accept cash.
Cons: It was not made clear at all that I was buying a basic economy ticket and was not going to be allowed to take a carry on. That was really frustrating.
Pros: Friendly flight attendants.
Cons: When I made the reservation, somehow I was assigned lowest status, and boarded the plane last, meaning no overhead storage.
Pros: $155 roundtrip cost with limitations described before purchasing tickets. It would be much better to at least be able to take a backpack as a carry-on, but all costs were included in the price except luggage and that was reasonable at $25/bag.
Cons: Not being able to take a backpack as a carry-on
Pros: service is good.
Cons: The crew & boarding. Awful snacks.
Cons: 2hr late leaving ord. 2hr late leaving msp. Airline change because of depart time in msp from united to American meaning we had to go from term1 to term 3 at ord in 20 min 21/2 hrs getting home. All delays due to mechanical problems. United needs to get their act together Our last trip with them,if at all possible.
Cons: I'm disappointed that I had to pay to watch the flight tracker, that it wasn't a free option and I had to be continually subjected to commercials that were irrelevant to me.
Cons: Unable to pre-check online. Unable to check at the check in machines--had to go up and check in at the counter, long wait because there was only one clerk. We were then given a ticket just to get through security and had to check in a second time when we get to the gate for seat assignment, which is ridiculous. Why couldn't that be done at the 1st check-in? The clerk told me she will call me when she has the seat assignment/ boarding ticket but she never did and I had to go back up to ask for them when it was getting close to boarding time. At the last moment minutes, volunteers could check in their carry on for free....It would have been nice (and less hassle) to have that option at the 1st check-in.
Pros: The lady helping me before boarding plan was awesome thanks enjoy your week
Pros: Flight finally left for ORD. Staff kept folks apprised and boarded us quickly.
Cons: Continual delays. UAL staff did not address issue of whether folks would miss connections in ORD. Yet we were seated next to the AA counter where their staff was actively working on this issue (missed connections in ORD). Seemed like AA cared a bit more.
Pros: I appreciate that United hasn't gotten greedy with baggage charges and has kept their seating comfortable. Last Frontier flight was RIDICULOUS!!
Pros: I like being in an earlier boarding group and sitting by a window.
Cons: Seats are too close together and reclining makes it very uncomfortable for the person behind the recline.
Pros: a lot of the times the planes are freezing, would like to see pillows and blankets offered more in economy
Pros: Speed and ease of our return home.
Cons: We got in SO early, there was no gate ready for us at Newark, so we had to stay on board at least 30 min. Also they didnt allow even 1 person waiting in queue for bathroom, so if you sat down you'd lose your place.
Pros: The other legs of the trip were on time
Cons: The second leg of the trip was two hours late which always happens at Chicago Ohare
Cons: Every flight I had was delayed at least an hour, and one of my flights was delayed 2.5 hours, which caused me to miss an important meeting. When I asked why it was taking so long, the United customer service representative was very short and somewhat rude. Not a great experience this time that's for sure.
Cons: seats were extremely uncomfortable
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Airplane was damaged and united wouldn't rebook us until the flight was officially cancelled hours later. Then United provided only one service person to address all of the passengers needs so we had to stand in line for a couple hours longer. Then they had no hotel rooms to put anybody up for the night that couldn't get a flight until the next day. Then they gave us a measly $10 food voucher. Then our luggage was mishandled has still has not shown up to my house. Then because of the change in flights I had to rearrange transportation home at 1130 pm that cost me an extra $125. A very miserable day because of United's lack of being proactive and poor decision making given the situation and circumstances.
Cons: The flight was delayed multiple times causing me to have to literally run across airport to catch international connecting flight. Gate crew did very little to assist me in securing an alternate flight. On board crew did little to assist me in finding out information and getting me off the plane quickly to get to my connecting flight. Overall they showed little empathy and customer service.
Pros: When I got on the plane
Cons: Late by more then an hour and I missed my connection home. I had to stay the night in Denver and miss a day of work. This cost me an extra day and about $1000 worth of missed revenue.
Pros: Overall good flight. Very quick! :) nice pilot
Cons: Nothing in particular.
Cons: Our flight from Chicago was delayed but we still made it to our gate on time. However, United assumed we wouldn't and allowed the aircraft to leave early. It forced us to stay here until morning. Extremely pissed off.
Cons: One strange thing happened on my United airlines flight. The crew announced before we boarded that there wasn't enough overhead space for rolling bags and encouraged us to check them in. Upon boarding they announced that all overhead space in the back was full. I sat in the back and noticed that the crew closed the overhead compartments even though they were mostly empty. Another passenger opened an empty one and the crew came over and closed it right away, though many people were still boarding. What's going on?
