I apologise for seeming so harsh as I know you've had so much trouble because of the tornadoes, but this leg of my trip cost me an additional $800.00 plus AUD and I was here in the US to care for my father who recently had a 2nd heart attack and my final days in USA were meant to be a holiday, and all I can say is the stress because these expenses have removed any enjoyment (I know I'm looking at this half empty, not half full). NO WHERE in our email did it say there was this rule nor were we prompted or told to check-in prior to our flight online. There's no suncountry app for check-in that we could find (only a visa one). We booked through priceline.The flight hadn't even started boarding and we were not allowed to check-in. We were re-booked on a flight that left two hours later, but that flight was delayed 3 hours. The whole thing essentially took one full night of paid hotel and fun in Vegas away costing us over $200 just in hotel plus we spent an extra 5 hours in an airport that didn't have a bar open past 9pm."

Cons: "Flight 103 was supposed to be at 1:30. Delayed at 10 or 11 am to 3:08. A little in the day to have a major delay putting us into Vegas right at rush hour with higher taxi pricing and headache. Once we were at the airport the delays continued. We didn't finish boarding the plane until after 330. And then had to sit on the tarmac while they tried to squeeze us in. Then landing you could tell we were circling airport while they tried to find a spot for us to land, either that or it was a bad route because it involved a lot of sharp turns. We landed almost two hours late, which for a 48 hour Vegas trip is harsh. All we got in return was an apology. Usually other airlines will at least give you the full can of pop or something minor to off set the bigger inconvience."

I learned in Las Vegas after claiming injury checking my bag that they do have an arrangement, and that agent just didn't know about it. Kayak should never have allowed me to book a ticket where I had to re-check my bag and go through security again without a big warning, so I'm unhappy about that. Additionally, it seems like Sun Country needs to get his ducks in order regarding baggage agreements. The change in Las Vegas was stressful and involved switching terminals as well – not ideal."

No explanation whatsoever was given about what was going on. The aisles on the plane were so narrow that I could just barely roll my carry-on bag down it. The head of the guy sitting in front of me was almost in my lap. I couldn't even lower my tray table all the way down to a flat position to set my beverage upon because his seat was so close to mine. When the flight was almost to its destination, we had to circle the airport for awhile because Obama was landing at this time too. We were never told of this possibility until it actually happened. Why not ? We arrived about an hour and a half later than our scheduled time. With all these inconveniences to us, absolutely nothing complimentary was given to us passengers to make up for their incompetence and how our travel plans may have been disrupted. This was a bad experience and my last with Sun Country."

Which resulted in me being called to the desk at the gate about 30 minutes prior to boarding and being told I screwed up checking my bag when I was just following the instructions given to me. Was then told I had to leave the secure area of the airport, go back to the front to check my bag all within 30 minutes of boarding. when I returned thru the TSA checkpoint they were rude, obviously, but more importantly the flight was boarding early. So you could've 1. told me what the actual procedure is for checking my bag instead of telling me "just leave it by the green lit up check mark then 2. told me at the gate that not only do i need to go fix your mistakes for you but that youd also board my flight early thereby putting me in jeopardy of missing my flight. all i got was a very insincere apology when I complained up front and at the gate about the airline's screw up. i get that you're all human like me and make mistakes but the customer is always right. there was a time in this country when customer appreciation and service were important standards and qualities businesses thrived on. Don't know what happened to those days... Also i should not need to be a first class passenger to get a meal during a flight. whatever happened to meals for everyone? you (all airlines in the US) charge way too much money and provide poor service compared to pre-9-11 days. I dont see how one event can justify the loss in service but the increase in ticket price. you should all get back to what flying should be about: fun and time saving."

Cons: "I called American Airlines as ssoon as I book my trip to set up and make sure my small dog could fly with me. They neglected to inform me their partner, jetstar, does not fly animals. My luggage did not arrive with me. Both of my suitcases were mangled and broken. Items in my suitcases were shattered and crushed even though they were well packed and protected. We got stuck on the terminal in MSP and missed our connecting flight. When we finally arrived the systems were down and could not get new flights or hotels. We were told we could not get hotels and had to argue for an hour. Even though it was a maintenance issue. I arrived a day late and had to take extra leave. The plane from LAX to Tokyo was horrific. I booked a window seat, was stuck in the very middle. There was no way to charge outlets devices. The screen did not work. And my new luggage was also damaged with even more items destroyed."

Cons: "I spent more than I would have on a cheap flight like Spirit, but felt like accommodations were similar. Charging for snacks, soda, and WATER. You want to charge for water on a 3 hour flight? When I first checked my bag the crew was ridiculously slow, and very indifferent to the line getting longer and longer. They obviously had no since of urgency (in Orlando airport). Awful customer service."

Cons: "The check in counter wasn't opened or staffed until 8:25am when our flight was at 10:10am. The line was incredibly long because of this. The staff was very unfriendly and they were not helpful at all."

All they were doing was BSing with each other and laughing. Pilot took forever to even take off, we literally drove around on the ground going like 10 mph for about 15-20 minutes, and because we didn't take off when we were supposed to I assume is why our flight got delayed an hour! Never have had a delayed flight until frontier. Then to make matters worse, I checked my bag and they put it on the wrong belt I literally waited for my one suitcase for about 45 minutes! Like wtf get your situation together. Not to mention the $30 1st bag fee at least sun country gives you that."
Pros: "The crew was great! Got upgraded to the emergency exit seats for extra leg room!! That's a BIG plus!! Very comfortable and good experience!!"
Cons: "Nothing!! There was a tiny baby a seat up and across the isle that the parents were GREAT about keeping her from crying as much as possible. Those parents WERE GREAT!!!!!!!!!! And are MUCH APPRECIATED with no sleep!!! That wasn't negative, sorry. Everything was GREAT!!!!"

Cons: "They charge me $50 for a seat at check-in They charged me $40 to carry-on one bag at check in They charge for all refreshments and snacks. The only thing that was complementary was a small glass of water. One of the flight attendants asked me if I would be willing to give up my aisle seat that I paid an extra $50 for to take a center seat so a teenage boy could sit by his mother. 99 times out of 100 I would have given the boy my seat. However this was a longer flight and I just had to pay $50 to obtain my aisle seat. When I tried to nicely explain that I just paid extra money to get this I'll seat the flight attendants response was " well he had to pay $50 for that center seat also, so it's basically the same seat". I replied no actually that is a center seat and I'm sitting in an aisle seat so they are different. After I declined to change my seat the flight attendant gave me major attitude about it and went off and informed the other flight attendants that I would not change seats. All of the flight attendants gave me the stink eye the rest of the trip, treated me rudely, & and ignored me as much as possible. I've been flying for my profession for 13 years and this was the most unprofessional crew I've ever seen. This is my one and only complaint about a flight in 13 years of many many flights. I will try very hard not to fly with Frontier ever again."

Cons: "I guess comfort is a low priority. The seat I had was only slightly better than a 5 gallon pail. Just a hard plastic she'll (think small fishing boat with some foam padding) since when do seats not recline? I did get a good workout though keeping my legs and elbows out of the patient lady's bubble sitting next to me."
Pros: "Crew was considerate and offered updates as we waited. We were given a lunch voucher and $100 voucher for a future trip -- on frontier and within 3 months. Fortunately for me, I did not have a connection and the person I was meeting in Orlando was also delayed 4 hours from a different location . So I was only moderately inconvenienced. Ordinarily this would have been a very costly event. This is my 2nd trip on the same flight within one month. Non-stop and times are great. First trip was on schedule and solid. Very friendly staff. Planes seemed new, cean, and safe, but not very comfortable (seats did not recline!?)"
Cons: "Delayed for 4 hours. We all boarded the plane before being told there was a problem, so then everyone had to de-plane and wait near gate for more information. Arrived Orlando too late to drive to destination. Wasted a day of car rental. Must use $100 voucher within 90 days."

Cons: "The overhead compartments were nearly empty. Charging for carry on isn't working. Also no beverage nor peanuts included I feel is a little too far for cost cutting. If you are going to charge for soda why not a realistic price? You might not make a lot of money but your passengers will be happy and you won't be losing money."

My fault, but as a flyer going through this, it produced in me a very negative view of Friontier. In fact, the feelings are so strong I will avoid flying with them if I can help it."

My suitcase was three lbs over and I was so embarrassed having to open my suitcase in front of everyone and keep taking more and more cloths out ! I usually fly southwest which to me is the best airline ever ! My granddaughter booked my flight with spirit ! It was the most worst flight I've ever taken ..I hope I never have to fly again with your airline again ! Bad rating from me all over !!! I fly a lot as I have family all over the US but hopefully this will be the last with Spirit"

Cons: "The flight attendants were letting zone 4 board when they had only called 1,2,3. Why have zones if they let anyone on at any time? We're not flying southwest. The worst was the awful stench of exhaust fumes that filled the cabin as we sat on the tarmac before takeoff. It was horrible and upset everyone around us. Of course the seats were cramped, but that's what you get when flying budget airlines."

Delta didn't charge me $45 dollars to CARRY ON one bag- and they sent my ticket (for free) to my cell phone. Spirit has so many ludicrous hidden fees- $45 to CARRY ON a bag? That is beyond stupid- and $5 if you don't have access to a printer in order to obtain your boarding pass? I'll never fly spirit again."
