Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Have the plane on time"
Pros: "Good flight attendants"
Cons: "Dusseldorf to Warsaw: Boarding terrible including assistance and messaging. - Boarding chaos - Late flight out of Dusseldorf (about an hour) - Just before landing, pilot announced all connections would be made - (and even mentioned chicago) - Connecting flight was gone when I arrived at gate, and I was quick in getting to gate from prior flight - next flight caused 5 hour layover in Warsaw Warsaw to Chicago Boarding terrible including assistance and messaging. - Boarding chaos - Late flight our ot Warsaw (about an hour) - no messaging at gate about reason for delay - kept increasing departure by 5 minute increments; started at 16:40 ended 17:05 (I beleive) - once boarding was complete, pilot said delay was due to wait for connections (boarding was an hour and 15 minutes late). Very frustrated"
Cons: "Late boarding and terrible boarding process with no proper announcements or procedures. Everyone just piling up at gate like cattle. Couldn't bother seating us together even though we booked under same ticket. Super cramped seats. Broken entertainment system on 787. Not very friendly crew."
Cons: "No wifi"
Pros: "Friendly crew and boarding and flight were uneventful"
Cons: "The entertainment for an international flight is far outdated. The movie selection is severely lacking"
Cons: "The flight was late 1.5 hours missed connecting flight, spent all night at airport waiting for next plane,"
Pros: "I am an oriental origin and the food that was served was not appealing. But, it was ok."
Cons: "It did not have vegetable, almost none."
Pros: "Most of the crew was very pleasant and helpful. Food was decent, but much better on the return trip out of Poland. Thank YOU."
Cons: "The toilet lids need to be fixed so that they don't keep hitting you in the back. They do not stay up. Other passengers were talking about the same thing."
Pros: "I liked the new modern Dreamliner, the in-flight food, the entertainment, and the comfort."
Cons: "I was I could have stayed on vacation longer."
Pros: "The crew was nice and courteous. Many amenities to pass the time. Getting off the plane was quick and painless. Food was reasonable."
Cons: "The flight was delayed an hour, which is fine, but no information was given to why and we started boarding at the updated takeoff time. The process of getting zones lined up and on the plane was a mess. They didn't communicate clearly about zones so every passenger got up and in line, lines weren't directed well, and people kept getting chastized for not knowing what was going on. Once we boarded the plane, we sat for an hour with no reasoning why we waited. When you already have a 9 hour flight, less time stuck in your seat is best. It was hard to understand the pilot when he spoke in English to know why we had delays and any updates while on the plane."
Pros: "Plenty of leg space in economy."
Cons: "Flight was delayed half an hour"
Pros: "New aircraft was nice, clean, up to date"
Cons: "Initially the entertainment system was not working. The crew was notified that screens are not working, so they rebooted it once. After some time, my and my daughters screens were still not working. We used call button to get crews attention. However, no one was paying attention to the lights. At some point there were 8 blue lights on throughout our cabin calling for assistance. I got attention by waving my hand and asking for help. I told 3 different times re my screen. They stated that they just rebooted the system and it will be working soon. My next seat neighbors were hour into their movies. No one did come back and check if I'm Ok if problem got resolved. Then they were even ignoring us and not offering drinks at this point. I felt like I got punished for asking for help. That's when I asked for crew person in charge. She was kind and offered to move to economy plus. We did move for majority of the flight. Enjoyed entertainment. However, when there was 1.5 h left of our trip, they woke us up and asked to move back to our seats since the meal plans are upgraded in this section. I was shocked, somewhat embarrassed to move back. I felt like a person that likes to cause trouble/ complainer being punished. Since we purchased full price ticket like everyone, we should be able to enjoy it like everyone. Airline should compensate clients, if there's issue with airplane. Flight to LT was good, however going home was extremely unnecessarily stressful. I'll try my best NOT to fly LOT in the future."
Pros: "Staff were pleasant and attentive. Water was offered several additional times through the 9-hour flight, as well as the usual beverage cart. Good selection of movies"
Cons: "Very, very cramped seating. Extraordinary measures needed to even try to maneuver arms to try to eat. Food provided sustenance but no pleasure. Seriously, you should just serve pierogies and everyone would be happy. Desserts were actually quite tasty."
Cons: "We were late boarding, and then once we were boarded we waited for an hour for a late connecting flight."
Pros: "Very timely and organized."
Cons: "We did have to sit on the tarmac for about 1/2 hour upon arrival in Chicago."
Cons: "Departure was delayed. Got held on ground at Chicago. Baggage was very late to arrive"
Pros: "The food was very good . The fly attendants were very nice and professional."
Pros: "Boarding was very fast."
Cons: "Boarding started at least half an hour late."
Pros: "The plane was nice and new. I loved the dimmed windows! I was told by my family about not adequate legroom but it was not bad, even with the middle and window seat (economy). Leg rest attachment was helpful."
Cons: "Only issue, when the row in front of me reclined their seats (nice and comfortable angle), I had to recline mine as well in order to sit comfortably and watch the movies. I also had to ask them to fold it back if I wanted to step away, otherwise there was no way to get out from the middle and window seat. The plane was also delayed at the origin, but unfortunately that is very usual for this airline, not sure why."
Pros: "The aircraft in general was newer and all the screens were working and clear."
Cons: "The lowest volume was almost too loud for comfort on the entertainment system for headphones. The seat has no cushion left."
Cons: "I fly 35 years at least 2 times a year to different companies. For the first time in the life of the company flew Lot (and the last) and was unpleasantly surprised: 1. The stewardesses did not hide their antipathy towards the native speakers of English and Russian (they were scornful and rude), although they were friendly and attentive to the passengers speaking Polish, 2. The food is tasteless and small (I have ordinary needs)."
Pros: "My screen froze and crew reset it. Very friendly and professional crew. Best airline food ever!"
Pros: "I traveled on this airline few years ago, and there was always room for improvement. This trip was a very pleasant surprise. Departures and arrivals were on time, excellent service, good entertainment aboard, and what a great, comfortable airplane (Dreamliner B 787)."
Pros: "nice flight... people were friendly and kind."
Cons: "No Comments"
Pros: "Also like this crew. Great job of hiring good people."
Cons: "This team has it together."
Pros: "Wondefull flight crew."
Pros: "All process went smooth. Had to change ticket- good experience. Using Lot often and will be in the future."
Pros: "The flight crew was really attentive and helpful throughout."
Cons: "Boarding was delayed, but honestly that's not a big deal."
Pros: "A very nice experience"
Cons: "Again, the flight from Warsaw to Chicago in Jan 6 was much better than the other one from Chicago to Warsaw in Dec 27. That flight (Dec 27) I would rate as okey. Food was poor. Instead of meat there was a piece of conjunctive tissue which was impossible to cut or chew at all. Who made a decision to feed people in limited space with beans? I wish this person would seat among them for 8 hours to enjoy it fully."
Pros: "Food and service were ok."
Cons: "I flew in Premium, but I had to call the airline to have the seat assigned. I could not choose the seat online although the website said I could choose a seat ahead of time. The only way to see the arrangement of seats was through seatguru.com. The best seats for the Premium Class are 4A, 4B and 4F and 4G, which are the first row in Premium. The rest of them have legs or boxes under the seat in front of you, so there is really now way you can stretch your legs fully under the seat in front of you during the flight. I was able to secure 4G for my return flight from Warsaw, but going to Warsaw from O'Hare I was put into 6B, no proper room for the right leg. They did not let us use the Business Class bathroom, which was much closer. We had to go all the way to the bathroom behind the row 19. Very inconvenient. They allow dogs in the Premium cabin, so if you are allergic to dogs brace yourself. I fly LOT only when I have no other option."
Pros: "Service"
Cons: "Sardine style packed economy class seats"
Pros: "Smooth flight"
Cons: "We were late into Chicago causing me to miss connections. I was forced to rent a car for a one way drive back to Grand Rapids."
Pros: "The crew members were very nice!"
Cons: "Yes"
Cons: "the economy class seats are torture for anyone of normal size. 10 hours with three 6-foot tall people crammed into a row was excruciating."
Pros: "Just a wonderful experience. The most comfortable plan,The most concerned and efficient crew, wonderful service.I will recommend Lot to everybody."
Pros: "New planes(Boing 787), attentive flight personnel, convenient schedule."
Pros: "The economy premier seating is outstanding. Plenty of room, friendly service, actually pretty good food. Don't know how it was for the regular economy seating - it looked pretty tight."
Cons: "There are not very many bathrooms for the size of plane. It seemed there was always a line."
Cons: "had to delay the plane to board us due to the first plane being late, spent hours in the airport. After almost 40 min looking for my luggage, I found out was still in Poland"
Cons: "no Wi-Fi..."
Pros: "Food was hot and tasty for dinner. Breakfast was not too bad either - but Polish food is always good. Crew were fine enough."
Cons: "The boarding process was a shambles. Many passengers stood in the ailses or were turned around talking to folks they knew - this clearly irked others - it was a bit too social and the staff did nothing."
Pros: "The food was good, the flight crew was curteous altho not English speakers."
Cons: "The flight was one hour delayed and during boarding most of the time only one person checked us all in for a full dreamliner. There were at least four other LOT employees standing around who could have pitched in. I had a window seat with a large man next to me who overflowed into my space making it uncomfortable to just sit. I couldn't even cut my meat without bumping him. Because LOT upgraded random people before the flight, I would suggest they wait until they board and see who doesn't fit in the tight space and move those people."
Pros: "Usa"
Pros: "Good question! Not much. The Crew were very nice and professional."
Cons: "The airplane is uncomfortable, too tight. During such a long flight and an uncomfortable plane, free alcohol should be served to make the experience more bearable."
Pros: "New airplane, good service and in-flight entertainment"
Cons: "No flexibility on upgrade price, even when no one is buying..."
Pros: "Lufthansa was nice (great service and friendly people) (the airline we actually took home)"
Cons: "I did not like that I couldn't get on the plane because we were still in Prague when it left"
Cons: "Huge line to get through security at Terminal 5 at O'Hare. One complain about the Boeing Dreamliner (not really Lot's fault): the new light sensitive windows can't be shut and can't fully block the light. When flying with the sun directly pointing on the windows some light still goes through and it's harder to fall asleep, plus it gets fairly hot"
Cons: "Almost 900$ for a ticket and no vine,no beer, no nothing.....maybe it's to cheap. ..."
Pros: "over all good ."
