They did find it next day and delivered to the FLL airport, but we had to get a cab and go to the airport to pick-up as we could not take a chance of it not making it to us before the cruise departure. Cons: "Plane was scheduled to depart at 8:20 pm it was then delayed until 8:58 pm due to weather. We all boarded the plane and were ready for take off when a maintenance issue was discovered. We all deplaned and we’re told we would be put on a new plane arriving from Seattle set to depart at 11:30 pm. This departure time was delayed until 1:35 am and then 2:35 am because the captain had timed out and we would need to wait for a new pilot. Also due to the first delay everything was coded as “weather” and customer service was unable to give hotel rooms. This miscommunication between corporate and passengers and the late night created lots of frustration. Instead of being helpful or honest customer service called security on the disgruntled passengers. I heard no threats of violence just elevated voices. At midnight Frontier began handing out meal vouchers (15 dollars to McDonald’s) as a way to increase morale. I finally gave up and requested a refund, got a hotel, and a new flight on a different airline (all Frontier flights the next day were sold out). When I asked what would happen to my checked luggage they said it would be sent to Dallas (my destination) or I could pay for it to be sent back to Denver. The flight and my luggage arrived in Dallas at 5:30 am. Paid $400 for Southwest flight the next day (flying into different Dallas airport away from my parked car and luggage) just for the guaranteed service."

After factoring in all those things, it would have been a lot cheaper to use a different airline. Plus, it was by far the most uncomfortable airplane I have ever been on. No leg room, small seats that do not recline and have no cushion. Terrible experience!"

Pros: "They don't comply with thier own policies. Thier website says a carry on bag and a personal item (such as a laptop bag) is allowed free of charge. When i reach their with a very tiny suitcase and a laptop bag, the front end staff tells me I am fine and can go ahead with the sevurity line. But when I reach at the gate and just as I am about to enter the flight a frontier employee snatches my bording pass and says that I have to pay $60 for my one item, as only one item is allowed. And she was so rude that she wouldn't listen to anything. Says the gate closes in 3mins if you wanna get in this flight pay $60 or else she wont let me in. I had no choice other than to pay. This was through kayak. I would request kayak to not keep any kinda relation qith such ripoff fraud companies, if they don't want bunch of bad reviews them self. Frontier has already millions of bad reviews and one more added from my side just now. I would never ever travel frontier again. N by the way the flight sucked as well."

I then had to pay $40 x 2 for my little carry on bag, which was ridiculous. I plan never to fly with you again."

Pros: "Radio went out and the flight was delayed leaving. Also, when has Frontier has started charging for carry ons? I could have gone with Spirit if I'd known that... During the delay passengers were welcome to get off the flight but were reminded several times how much it would cost to rebook if they missed the reloading process ($99.00). After delay the staff was offering complimentary beverages due to the delay...(how much does it really cost to offer water & sodas?) So I would have been charged for a cup of water??? The staff seemed rude and several times I was nudged, slammed, bumped into (I was in an aisle seat) and ever was acknowledged by the crew members who did it. It just seems overall that it was all about the money that the employees are unhappy and that it is not about the satisfaction of the client. First and last time I'll travel with you...."

Then again, I have never traveled with Spirit nor will I ever again!!! You get what you pay for."

Cons: "The crew was extremely rude. My flight was delayed and I received many notifications notifying me of the time change. I arrived with plenty of time to get through security for the new time of the flight. When checking in however the crew told me that I had missed my flight. The plane had not left, the doors weren't closed, and the flight hadn't even boarded. I was devastated. They said I couldn't get a refund and there was no way they could let me board, I needed to arrive an hour early before the original time not the new time. Eventually I was able to speak with a manager after 4 other people arrived with the same issue trying to get on the flight, and I got on the plane. The ticket agent that I initially spoke to was incredibly rude though and had no compassion, nor did she even attempt to do anything to help me. Will not be flying spirit again."

No snacks. No bags. No beverage. Had I known, I would have chosen one of the more comfy airlines and paid more. After the add on's I paid more than the others would have been. If you fly light and solo this is a good deal. But if you are used to some amenities, look elsewhere."

I have paid to check bags but not $50 and I have never paid to have a carry on bag.. I spent 2 hours trying to pay for the checked bag on line to save $10 dollars. There web sight said I had no flight in my name. I called and got that straightened out, a problem with my name in there system, only to have the web site malfunction after I finally got to the page to be able to pay. The web page would not allow me entrance until I was a member of there airlines. I would not have ever registered for this rewards program had I known using a phone in the airport was going to be a navigational nightmare. But they won't have to worry about pleasing me again. If they are the last airline on earth, I will just walk. I think I can make it from New York City to Dallas/ Ft. Worth more comfortably on foot."

Pros: "Our flight left NY at 2pm on 29th and due to weather issues was diverted to Kansas city instead of TX. Many other flights where also diverted, which all halted for few hours and left to final destination Dallas except for us. They made us sit in the flight from 5pm to 11pm and cancled the flight. No food was given , no water & there where kids on the flight who stayed hungry. Horrible service and staff had the worth attitude."

Nobody knew what was going on. No staff members knew if there would be any gate changes. There was finally a gate change for my flight, though God only knows why they didn't do it an hour beforehand - the incoming flight was sitting on the tarmac waiting to unload passengers for over an hour. I had to talk to upwards of 10 people to get any idea of what was going on, and the fellow waiting passengers were more helpful than the staff. I will probably never fly Spirit ever again."
