Pros: "There is nothing positive to say besides it got me where I needed to go, even though my first flight was cancelled and had to completely redirect to another airport an that took me 2 hours to get to."
Cons: "Everything, the staff was rude especially at the gate. I was forced to check my bag not because of size but because I was in Group 6 boarding and I got on there was plenty of room on the plane. I had even explained I needed to do work and would have to hold everything in my arms."

I explained but she lied and said person was in wheelchair. Got on board and took photos of young woman seated - not in wheelchair and was up walking. Agent lied and was nasty. Ruined entire trip as I was not able to move much or stretch my injured leg. Am still in pain as I type this review. Complained to AA. Agent was so nasty! Should not be allowed to work with passengers. Fire her!"

Cons: "No personal TV screens to watch movies, which would have been more acceptable if there were plugins at each seat to plug in personal phones/ipads/etc to help maintain battery. BUT THERE WEREN'T. Everyone's phones/ipads died a few hours into the flight and therefore had to stare at the wall for HOURS. I even brought my laptop to get some work done, but without a plugin to keep it charged, it died. In this day and age, for an overseas flight that is 10 hours long, to be this old old without updated features and without plugins, this is unacceptable. Flat out ridiculous. This plane was SO OLD and dingy. Just awful."

The overhead reading lights flashed on and off periodically making me a bit concerned about the electricals. Our main piece of luggage was sent on a different flight. It took us over an hour to locate that had happened. We waited at the distribution point. We got one Piecebut not the other. After all we’re taken from the belt we went in search and found it."

They scheduled us a new flight with Vianca and Iberia: Bogotá-Madrid + Madrid-Brussels. My partner and I could not sit together on any of these flights! 1 of 10 hours and of 2 hours! I would NOT recommend AA to anyone! This was full responsability of AA!"

Cons: "The AA employee at the counter in Batoj Rouge informed me that I would miss my connection at Charlotte Airport due to a delayed in the incoming flight. Hebgave me the option to flight the next day or flight the same day, and after a 2 hour delay flight to Charlotte where I would be provided a hotel room and a meal for the night. I asked several times if that information was confirmed and he repeatedly said yes. At my arrival at Charlotte Airport (near midnight) every AA employee said that they did NOT have any more hotels. It was obvious that everything was a staged lie since over 100 people had to spend the night in one of the the terminals where we were provided a pillow and a blanket. I am terribly disappointed for the lack of transparency in AA. I was told my some friends that they also have had experiences like that at the same Charlotte Airport. You have damage once again your reputation and from no own in will expect THE WORST from AA."

We got a $10.00 food voucher after we had been in the airport 1 1/2 hours prior to takeoff and then another 2 hours after the time the plane was actually supposed to have left. I was also told that we would be compensated for the delay, I haven't seen anything about that. My mother and I checked in together, they put me in zone one and her in zone 4, this was after I paid for each bag and $40.00 for the carry on bag. It was absolutely NOT a good experience."

They blast the AC so high that I can't even fall asleep. If I have a choice, I would avoid this airline. This was the only airline with the time that matched my schedule and with a very economical price."

The lack of leg room for someone like myself who is over six feet tall AND the unsolicited comments from a flight attendant who said I should get a seat in an exit row or towards the front of the plane when she and I both know that those seats were more expensive. I should not have to pay for more leg room because I was born tall!!! Also, the zone system of boarding is the worst I have ever seen. No airline does this very well, although Southwest comes close, but Frontier actively makes it worse!"

(I dare say the race card was played here!) THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. THE OTHER AGENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET BEHIND THE COUNTER AND START 'WORKING'!"

I wanted to rent a car. I had never rented a car before. Expedia rented my car at 10 am and I didn't get to Orlando until 11 pm. They had already rented my car, so they charged for a bigger car. The ol bate and switch. I was in a pickle, so instead of paying $57. I had to pay $238. Therefore my inexpensive trip sure was very expensive."

If you want to choose your seat $17 or you sit in the middle of three seats in the back of the plane. On the way out I squeezed in the middle with a mother and crying baby on her lap, wanted to kill myself. Would prob recommend JETBLUE and stay away from this airlines."

They wait a few minutes, printed the "official close gate" paperwork, told us thy would see what they could do and would be right back. That was now the 15 min before boarding time period. The plane sat there for that 15 and Atleast another 10+ minutes. We watched luggage being loaded and other Things. Another woman came out anc refused to help. She disappeared too. Only once the plane pushed off did the other two come back 30+ min later thinking others would be gone. They hit in the Jetway. Make matters worse went to customer service for help and waited 1.5 hours between both lines to see a supervisor. One rep even confirmed my question of "what do they just hide back there and let you guys be the bad guys" with a pretty much yes that's it. One finally comes and tells us no accommodations. I guarantee they filled out seats and did not know how to undo. I would pay double to never fly with them again. Ruined what was a great week by having two preteen kids subjected to sleeping in a run down airport."

Pros: "Flight going from FLL to EWR( Newark) on Saturday morning was ok. However, return flight from EWR to FLL the next day was a complete disaster. Would never fly spirit EVER!! I had to buy a new ticket with another airline ( united) for a one-way ticket($370). No reimbursement. NEVER SPIRIT( the hit or miss airlines!!!!!!!"

Pros: "Boarding was easy. Staff on return flight was unconventional but entertaining putting us at ease after our delays."
Cons: "On my roundtrip from Newark To Ft. Lauderdale I experienced 2 delays on each flight. The delays down were understandable because of weather conditions. The delays back were not sufficiently explained."

Cons: "Came to The airport an 11/2 hour early. Was told my flight was 4 hours delayed with no explanation. During the 4 hours nobody informed me about why."

Cons: "Don't have any intertainmen in the flight....TV no snacks you have to paid it.."

Cons: "Baggage fees extremely high..even if you take it on the plane. If you do t have access to a computer a charge to check I at the airport. Have to pay for membership. Time you pay all the high fees no cheaper then other airlines hat have better service."

Cons: "My baggage fee is too expensive"

Cons: "there is no (free) food, there is no entertainment, and the boarding process was poorly done, had far too employees and miserable"

Cons: "I will never fly Spirit again. I knew from one previous experience that they were the pits regarding seat room; but I never figured they were theives They never sent a confirmation of ticket. THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO HUMAN BEING TO SPEAK WITH IN PERSON on their telephone contact number, no matter what button you push. The transaction didn't post on my credit card, so I assumed it did not go through. I bought another ticket. Five days later they put both tickets through. that's it I am done with this cluster F$%K airline."

Cons: "our flight took off and landed 40 minutes late because the pilot lost his cellphone prior to boarding, so we had to wait for it to be retrieved. every. single. standard. thing. comes with a cost. no temperature control (everyone was freezing) no seats, despite paying $35 extra, recline speaker volume is uncontrollable and incredibly loud"

Cons: "That you have to pay for a seat, pay for carry on and pay for a cup of coffee!!!! Ridiculous! Will never fly spirit again! First and last time!"
