Price was good

On my return flight from FLL to IAG, they had all of us board the plane, even began the pre-flight information. THEN, we get a sudden message overhead from the pilot that there was a last minute crew change. We were asked to de-plane and were delayed an hour while we await the new crew. RIDICULOUS that this couldn't have been foreseen earlier before we all boarded. If they can't figure who will be flying the plane, what else are they missing. I'd rather pay extra for a competent airline w/ better planning. At minimum, they could have offered a complementary beverage service bc of the inconvenience. Jeez.

Everything about Aligiant is horrible. Service, attitude, even the pilots can’t land smoothly. As a diabetic, they don’t even give you water withiit paying for it. Had my wallet in my checked bag and almost had a health issue.

I liked the state of the aircraft, it was clean and somewhat modern. It was more than adequate for the job. The staff were friendly and professional. It is certainly more than what you expect to get for your money.

I wish the one carry-on piece of luggage did not cost as much as it does. I had somewhat of a discount as I am enrolled in the nine dollar fare club. However, $25 for one carry-on luggage still too much.

Airport and onboard crew were nice.

It was myself, my wife, and our 18 month old son. The trip was a complete disaster. The first delay was from 12 noon to 7:30 pm because the plane was unavailable. We left the airport and returned at 6 pm for the 7:30 pm departure. The plane was "available." We checked our bags, found our way to the gate, and eventually boarded "ontime." Instead of taking off, however, we sat on board the plane at the gate for 2 hours as work was being done. The work was first called "maintenance," then "a small error code." The captain teased us by saying "folks, just a few more minutes and we should be departing." The crew nourished us with a dixie sized cups of water and Chex mix. Then finally the airline gave up and deplaned everyone. Once deplaned, it was explained to us that they couldn't clear the error code, so they couldn't use that plane. But there was another plane coming from Las Vegas to use so that we could expect a departure around 12 midnight. 12 midnight rolls around. Nothing. 12:30 am. 1 am. Finally, a plane arrives. But then the airline holds us up yet again - turns out we can't depart after all because the arriving airport shuts down at 2 am. Gee, they didn't know that before making us wait another 3 hours??? Now they're offering a refund to anybody who wants one, as well as a hotel for the night and the promise of a flight at 2:30 pm the following day. At this point, many of us are looking up alternative flights to Eugene and even Portland. A $1,000 extra for us. We're not sure whether we can trust Allegiant to have an actual plane ready to go the next day. And we're too tired at that point to even ask why the next flight would be at 2:30 pm rather than first thing in the morning. So finally we line up to get a hotel voucher and find our way to the hotel. It takes over an hour to checkin at the hotel because it's the middle of the night and 150 people just showed up to checkin. We finally get to our room at about 3:30 am. I'm amazed at how well our toddler held up sitting on an airplane for 2 hours, sitting at the airport for about 6 hours, and waiting to fall asleep all night. We eventually made it back to the airport the following afternoon and, praise the lord, made it to our destination. Allegiant - NEVER AGAIN!

My kids and I had great experiences with Allegiant Air, thanks in large part to some excellent flight attendants. This was the first flight for both of my children (5, 7) and they had a blast. On our initial flight from Indianapolis to Ft. Lauderdale the attendants even gave each of them their own set of pin-on wings since it was their first time. The kids loved this!

On our initial flight from Indianapolis to Ft. Lauderdale the attendants even gave each of them their own set of pin-on wings since it was their first time. The kids loved this!

Instead of taking off, however, we sat on board the plane at the gate for 2 hours as work was being done. The work was first called "maintenance," then "a small error code." The captain teased us by saying "folks, just a few more minutes and we should be departing." The crew nourished us with a dixie sized cups of water and Chex mix. Then finally the airline gave up and deplaned everyone. Once deplaned, it was explained to us that they couldn't clear the error code, so they couldn't use that plane. But there was another plane coming from Las Vegas to use so that we could expect a departure around 12 midnight. 12 midnight rolls around. Nothing. 12:30 am. 1 am. Finally, a plane arrives. But then the airline holds us up yet again - turns out we can't depart after all because the arriving airport shuts down at 2 am. Gee, they didn't know that before making us wait another 3 hours??? Now they're offering a refund to anybody who wants one, as well as a hotel for the night and the promise of a flight at 2:30 pm the following day. At this point, many of us are looking up alternative flights to Eugene and even Portland. A $1,000 extra for us. We're not sure whether we can trust Allegiant to have an actual plane ready to go the next day. And we're too tired at that point to even ask why the next flight would be at 2:30 pm rather than first thing in the morning. So finally we line up to get a hotel voucher and find our way to the hotel. It takes over an hour to checkin at the hotel because it's the middle of the night and 150 people just showed up to checkin. We finally get to our room at about 3:30 am. I'm amazed at how well our toddler held up sitting on an airplane for 2 hours, sitting at the airport for about 6 hours, and waiting to fall asleep all night. We eventually made it back to the airport the following afternoon and, praise the lord, made it to our destination. Allegiant - NEVER AGAIN!

I liked the state of the aircraft, it was clean and somewhat modern. It was more than adequate for the job. The staff were friendly and professional. It is certainly more than what you expect to get for your money.

I wish the one carry-on piece of luggage did not cost as much as it does. I had somewhat of a discount as I am enrolled in the nine dollar fare club. However, $25 for one carry-on luggage still too much.

On my return flight from FLL to IAG, they had all of us board the plane, even began the pre-flight information. THEN, we get a sudden message overhead from the pilot that there was a last minute crew change. We were asked to de-plane and were delayed an hour while we await the new crew. RIDICULOUS that this couldn't have been foreseen earlier before we all boarded. If they can't figure who will be flying the plane, what else are they missing. I'd rather pay extra for a competent airline w/ better planning. At minimum, they could have offered a complementary beverage service bc of the inconvenience. Jeez.

Spent 150 dollars for 1 checked bag that weighed 48 pounds and one carry on. Luggage at Niagara Falls took over and hour to come out of the plane. I will never fly spirit again.
