Waiting to see how they correct this very expensive issue. And the vegan tapas option for food was not good at all. Ended up staying hungry for the duration of the flight. But my wife enjoyed her turkey sandwich."

Pros: "Although we ended up being stuck on the plane for 2 hours prior to take off due to high volume, weather and as the pilot put it, "possible military activity" the crew kept us informed every step of the way. There was one flight attendant in particular who was so full of energy and made the unfortunate circumstances not so bad. She entertained us and kept us in the loop the entire time as did the pilots. It made the 2 hours not feel so bad which was appreciated."

Cons: "Over an hour delay before boarding due to supposedly bad weather. Because flight was overbooked they were offering $400 gift card to change to standby on another flight. If you didn’t make that flight (evening), you’d be confirmed on a flight the following morning with one stop in Detroit (we booked a nonstop to Chicago). Uh, no thanks. Then to top it off, we’ve landed and been told that it will be at least an hour before we can deplane due to no availability at the gate (it’s 1145 pm right now). All this plus their new policy of not allowing us to select our seats because we bought the cheapest tickets. Really Delta? You go ahead and cater to the rich and I’ll choose to fly with another airline."

Pros: "I araised safely in New York and all my luggage finally arrived. I suppose that is good but so much else was bad, very bad."
Cons: "The morning of my flight I got a notice the departures time was changed by one hour later but to still arrive at the airport at the same time. So I ended up spending almost four hours at the airport before leaving. Boarding was a mess as "groups" were not called but everyone just rushed the gate in mass and we're let on. Staff were functional but looked and acted surly. It was a functional flight in that I arrived at my destination but it was not managed and I did not feel my business was wanted-only my money."

Cons: "Let me just say that I’m a loyal Delta costumer until now. The flight attendants (the two women) were an absolute nightmare. They were so rude and condescending. I was carrying with me my service dog and a bag containing an expensive medication (it couldn’t go on the top bin). Despite being in the comfort class and having the seat next to me empty, we were tight for space. The flight attendants were unreasonable and forced me to put my medication on the top bin despite the fact I had told them it was extremely delicate, that it that to go upright, and that I needed to keep it with me. They did not listen and pressured me into giving them the medication. The medication could have easily gotten broken. Thankfully it didn’t but this is no way to treat a human being."

Cons: "The cliff notes of this debacle are, inbound flight arrived late to Montreal, I contacted AA social media team to make sure they could notify the gate of my connecting flight, they didn’t after they said they did. Flight arrived in Chicago a little early, I have to wait 15 min for my bags from the valet, I run to the next gate and arrive with 13 min to spare, the gate agent (not nice) goes I’m sorry we already closed the door. I’m like, huh? Then he has the gall to tell me, “well had someone called us we could of held your seat”. That’s when I lost it. Needless to say I’m now flying to Dayton and back to Dallas. That’s in lieu of a 3:50 PM flight TOMORROW!"

Cons: "Staff was fair, but nothing compared to the service on JAL from CA to Tokyo. Very loud throughout the flight pushing the drink cart through the 8 Business Class rows instead of just delivering drinks to the 32 people in the section. Once the initial food & beverage service was complete, the service practically disappeared unless i sought them out in the galley."

The pastries were tasteless; didn’t get headsets until after movie had started. Nothing extraordinary about crew. Wish there were more competitive Airlines flying out of Phoenix— American Airlines disappointments...again."

We were booked on a flight that was delayed, turned out there was a flight about to depart (it had been delayed 2.5hrs due to weather), but was departing prior to our reg scheduled flight so they put us on standby. No doubt the crew was also columbus based and eager to get home...as they did. Couldn’t be more pleased to get home"

We had a bag we brought on three previous legs of our total travel which was considered by all of the other attendants as a personal item. This particular attendant very rudely informed us it was not, and we needed to check it. When we tried to explain the previous flights she responded with “I just explained this to the other passengers...it’s not allowed.” We didn’t argue, and gave the bag to the personnel in attendance, but the tone for the duration of the flight continued."

Tried to take Christmas toys from someone (and they weren’t in violation of anything. ) flight was delayed and took so long it would have been faster to drive to Charlotte. Whole airport was the most inefficient thing I have ever seen."

Pros: "Everything was great on the flight from the boarding to the service of all the staff before during and after the flight. The only major issue I had was once I arrived in Honolulu my luggage was damaged. I should’ve filed a claim while at the airport at the time but didn’t realize it until I got to the hotel."

Pros: "My flight had a really tight connection at London Heathrow. Then my flight from Vienna arrived 10 minutes late which made it even worse. A very nice BA agent met me as I deplaned at London Heathrow and ran with me thru Terminal 3. Helped me clear security with a priority card and ran to my gate with 2 minutes to spare. The women was really nice and if it was not for her I am sure I would not have made my connection. I don't know if there is anyway to track her down and thank her but I would like to do so. The flight attendants were OK but not excessively helpful."

Apart from that the crew was in general rude, didn't find the experience anywhere close to comfort"

Cons: "The flight attendants were downright rude to some of the other passengers, the ticketing agent had a nasty attitude and made for a very poor "first contact" experience with the airline. The front desk agents at the United Club in EWR were aggressively officious with a lot of the guests that day as well. Overall, customer service was very poor, even though the attendant on the flight were quite nice to me and gave me great service."

It was a pretty crummy to spend Easter Sunday at the airport while our entire family celebrated the holiday. I do really appreciate the travel certificates we received for our trouble."

I felt that WAY too many folks had backpack and two small carry ones, but by bringing them to the gate - the announcement was made its a full flight so you can check your bag for FREE! Next time, I will not follow the rules and just simply check at gate?? That is message loud and clear from your gate folks."

Cons: "There was no leg room what so ever! I am 6 foot tall and around 275 pounds. The seats were made for children, not made for an adult. My seat was so uncomfortable my legs actually went numb, mainly for the fact that I couldn’t move because of how tight the seats were. I have flown many times and this was by far the most uncomfortable flight ever! I will never fly again if this is how planes are going to be."

Pros: "RDU to EWR was fine, but the return flight was way oversold, and we didn't even get seat assignments until it was time to board. I purchased our tickets months ago, checked in 24 hrs before, and did not check bags, but we still had to stand online and keep reminding the gate agents that we did not have seats and that my three year-old had a car seat that needed to go in a window seat. Once on board, the first clas flight attendant was awesome! United should look into this ."

Because I am small, and seated next to a giant person who didn't upgrade to a size appropriate seat, I was forced due to full flight to endure the flight in 3/4 of my seat. I felt that if I were a larger MAN, they would have MOVED ME to another seat. They could have had this guy sit in the row behind with a Mom and a 4 yr old which would have been simple fix and not a safety issue for trying to exit my seat or row with this guy in it nor uncomfortable for the two woman sandwiched with him in middle seat."

Cons: "Both flights were behind causing me to miss the last ferry and spend $150 extra to take a cab around pudget sound to make it to work on time tomorrow. In Las Vegas after having my personal item on the plane from Cleveland to Las Vegas I was informed by the gate staff that I would have to pay an additional $55 dollars for my bag and that they were giving me a deal because at the gate it should be $65. After arguing with the attenedent and showing both tickets for the same seat on the same aircraft she conceded after finding out I was in the military."

Cons: "My flight was delayed 3 hours on the way out to Denver and they completely cancelled my flight without notifying me. Was not reimbursed. Will never fly spirit again."

Cons: "This is the worst airline. Extremely chaotic boarding, it seemed like I was in a third-world country. Nothing about this airline is good. They lure you in with cheap airfare though when you begin to add costs for everything they charge separately it's cheaper to fly AA or United or Southwest. The charge for WATER on the plane. The list of everything I don't like is too long for me to waste my time on this most substandard of the substandard airlines."

Pros: "I loved the personalities of the crew and pilot; they were very warm and I felt as though they were comfortable being themselves. We arrived 1.5 Hours early to our destination which was great except there was no gate for us when we arrived..which brings me to my qualm.."

Cons: "I arrived to the airport on time. I did not see any marked kiosks so although I wasn't checking any bags, I got in line. I saw kiosks along the front of the counter that weren't being used, but I waited patiently in line. After about 10-15 minutes, the lady behind the counter tells everyone that there are kiosks (unmarked) behind us. I walk back to the kiosk and it tells me that I have not checked in on time. (Apparently, the cut off ended like 5 minutes prior.......while I was waiting in line). I figured it wasn't a big deal because I still had plenty of time to check in and make it to the gate. NOPE They wouldn't even check me in to let me TRY to make the flight I paid for. It was their "policy". So even if I could have made it through security and to the gate more than 15 mins prior when they close the gate to the plane (Which I 100% could have made it), they wouldn't issue me a boarding pass. So I missed my flight and had to spend $200 to buy a flight on another airline. I asked to speak to a manager. They made me wait 45 minutes to speak to somebody. He told me I was a "no-show" for the flight.... even though i was there the whole time including prior to their 45 minute rule. They were unsympathetic to my frustration and seemed smug and slightly amused at my frustration. Overall this airline is trash. It amazes me that they still can't figure out very basic customer service issues. And they wonder why people are fed up with airline service. It's not like we aren't all spending hundreds of dollars on these flights... oh wait, yes we are. Don't be fooled by their cheap fares. They are making money by implementing a bunch of other fees and rules to screw people out of their money. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU SPEND A LITTLE BIT MORE TO MAKE SURE YOU ARENT GOING TO GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY THIS AIRLINE. Oh and by the way, I wasn't the only one this happened to on my flight. There were at least 3-4 other groups in the same boat. So it wasn't just a one-time thing that happened to me. I very much got the impression that this is a conversation they have all the time. I'd love to know how much money they have kept from people who never got to take their flight."

Cons: "They really screwedme over, stranding me in a foreign land because of an extremely delayed flight that kept getting more delayed and refused to reimburse or help with added expenses while I had to figure out how to get where I needed to go. Buying extra hotels, food, and ferry tickets without any reimbursement from the airline makes me never ever want to travel spirit again, and won't recommend them to anyone. Unfortunately my return flight is through them...I hope I get home..."

Cons: "This survey is asking all the wrong questions. I have NEVER had such a difficult and frustrating experience with an airline before. Navigating the web site, checking in online, finding a service phone number, and speaking with a representative took literally hours. Then to find out that my daughter, travelling alone, would be asked to pay $100 for asmall soft bag that fits at her feet was OUTRAGEOUS. I will NEVER fly this airline again."

Pros: "The emergency info under the seat was in a hard plastic that was ripped. The ripped hard plastic was digging into my leg. There was no way I could sit there even for a few minutes. Luckily, the flight was not completely full and the stewardesses were wonderful about finding me a seat that was acceptable for me. They were very accommodating and helpful."

Pros: "Started off OK then I went quickly downhill. Left Tampa using pre-check which is nice now that they have it on spirit. Arrived in Houston early. And I wrote to myself which was nice."
Cons: "Weather delay with fog in San Diego. Not Spirit's fault but they delayed for an hour and a half and then cancel the flight. As they canceled the flight they came around with cards with a number to call to rebook or change your itinerary. I called the number on the car rather than getting right in line at the desk. By the time I got through on the phone it would have been 10 to 15 minutes. They told me that since I was halfway through my return trip they couldn't do anything over the phone. So then I had to get in line and wait. I was the last person served. They offered me a flight to days later at the same time 9:45 PM that was unacceptable so I ask for something else and he somehow turned out they had a Houston Chicago San Diego flight that leaves tomorrow morning at seven. Very disappointed in the handling by the rebooking staff on the phone the gate agents were very friendly but very overworked and stressed. Service manager was there and he put me on a call back on the phone but that didn't help either. Not flying spirit again anytime soon."

I WOULD NEVER EVER FLY WITH SPIRIT AGAIN and i would never recommended to any of my colleagues or friends. i was expecting something different since it was my first time flying with spirit"
