Every country had a little different process for boarding and getting around - most had friendly staff, on point, helping clueless, stressed, & frustrated travelers. I was really disappointed in Atlanta, not a very welcoming or helpful spirit for visitors to US - not all (80% were awesome), mainly those trying to greet and direct through customs. Most hate the arrogant America anyway, don’t make it worse - put your best people on the front lines to help with international relations & show why the US is the best. Put those that don’t want to be here loading bags out back! Sorry for the lecture, but this is any business!"

It was better than I expected being a budget airline. Seats were comfortable, the flight attendants were nice, and the pilots had a smooth take off and a gentle landing.

Cons: "We have flown with Sun Country several times and it is always a great experience. In my opinion there are two things that can be improved upon. First thing is pricing for baggage. It is the same price for the first checked bag or a carry on. $30. I think a carry on should be half the price of a checked bag. Second is the on flight WiFi. It didn’t work on our departing flight or our return flight. That’s not good service. It sends a message that the airline doesn’t put a high priority on operability or maintenance."

I get to the airport my boarding pass said boarding 7:15. Then she made an announcement saying there was a delay due to an international flight that landed in Dallas. They needed to change the crew, clean up and do security check. This was an experience that I have never had to go through. This was inconvenient for not only myself but the people who were picking me up from the airport in Dallas. The seats are way too tight. No leg room nor room between the person next to you."

We were abandoned at a closed airport for hours. Eventually, I got the one and only uber still running in waco to drive me at 330am from waco to dallas. There has been no reinbursement of fares or compensation for lost wages, time and the general annoyance that being awake all night long caused. May be my fault but we had to pay extra to occupy Emergency exit seats in order to sit together. May want to send reminder about check-in policy prior to flight or after tickets are purchased. At the gate, they asked for volunteers to gate check carry on bags, rather than forcing it upon people."

Every seat in both of my flights was completely filled, meaning that we were squished up next to everyone despite any efforts to stay 6ft away from each other in the airports. Many passengers were wearing their masks incorrectly (not covering their nose, TAKING OFF THE MASK TO SNEEZE) and were not being asked to wear their mask properly by staff. I felt completely unsafe and won't be flying American again until there is a vaccine for covid."

Then after another delay they realised that off loading people meant off loading their baggagge, total delay nearly 2 hours The hedset socket on the entertainment system did not work The USB port did not work THey ran out of food after serving three rows, loaded four sandwiches, no wraps and 2 cheese plates for a full evening flight that was over 5 hours in duration including the delays."

Entertainment screen between center seat and window seat so I just didn't even try to look at it and mostly just leaned forward to have a little space. Also another inch or 2 was taken by person in front of me putting their seat back. With such restrictive space why is this even possible??? Flying has become ridiculous and I try not to as much as I can."

This was the call of the airline and it was handled poorly. The rebooking agent was also extremely rude and seemed totally self absorbed. This was my worst flying experience out of approximately 50 flights this year. Never again American."

I finally tore a page out of the AA magazine and wedged it against the screen so I could actually sleep without it constantly blinking on and disturbing me. Next time, I'm going to smash the screen. If I want it off, leave it off."

I was in an aisle seat and every time I started to fall asleep, someone going down the aisle slammed into me, making any sort of rest impossible. And the flight attendants had the typical U.S. flight attendant perma-rage, of course. I feel sorry for them, underpaid and overworked, but always p***ed off. Anerican Airlines needs to look at Emirates and other non-U.S. carriers to learn how to treat their passengers."

It got there on another flight at 7:30 pm Monday night but no one from American Airlines did anything about trying to get it to me until 11:30 pm. As a result, while l stayed at a hotel only 30 miles from the airport, my bag wasn’t delivered until 2:00 am on Tues, more than 8 hours after l got there. And their website for supposedly checking on lost luggage, aa.com/bag status, is next to useless. It gives no useful information. Use the 800 # but state you want to talk with a human when answering the questions in their phone tree. I’ve had other experiences on AA over the last few years that lead me to question their commitment to customer service. I’ll be avoiding American Airlines as a travel option where other alternatives are available."

I missed my flight because I had to go find it in baggage claim, take a taxi to another terminal, hoof it across the terminal to TSA pre-check which was 45 people deep and slow as a snail, then run to the gate (which was at the ooooother end I originally entered through). I missed my flight literally by 3 minutes. There was no one at the gate to help me, AA staff kept telling me to go to different places, getting a new flight was INSANE. The whole experience was a pure nightmare."

Door was still open but gate agent argued with the lady on 800 line about who could ticket faster. By time they finished arguing the door closed. That began a 14 hour nightmare of bumping between flights and delays and the inevitable lost luggage. Paid for $300 hotel room at Vancouver that I will get to stay in for 4 hours. Will NEVER fly American again"

Cons: "100 degree plans before taking off for mechanical reasons. Upon arrival it looked like a refugee camp in baggage claim area. A bunch of bags unclaimed scattered about. The screen said carousel 12 and confirmed it with local reps and then after waiting for a while some passenger says "if you're coming from Charlotte the bags are at 11, that's where I found mine". The miracle of flight is a miracle. I rarely complain but more often than not when flying domestically I realize how stretched the airlines are."

Pros: "We made it one piece and the pilot clearly made an effort to avoid turbulence by changing altitude constantly in search of smooth air."
Cons: "Crew brought food whether you wanted it or not. They loaded up my husband's tray table with food for 3, even though they were all asleep. I was sitting across the way, so, perhaps they didn't hear me say no thanks. The entertainment system was awful. You had to go through all the steps again and again every time you tried to simply check flight information. Annoying. When we arrived DFW customs, one of our bags was missing. Still in London. No surprise. LHR is awful. We would not see that bag again for nearly 4 days. They gave me some thing about a belt problem between T5 and T3 in LHR. We went from T3 to T3. No excuse. Probably fell off somewhere. Chocolates were a bit melted and chip bags burst. Whenever it was, it sat in heat."
Cons: "Arrived in Charlotte and tried to get on an earlier flight to Richmond. Was willing to pay a change fee. Even though there were empty seats, I was told that change fee was unavailable for my reservation. I talked to 3 different people on the phone and was given 3 different reasons as to why. 3 different gate people also said there was nothing they could do and there were no supervisors to help. Another person at the counter (who I believe was a supervisor) was able to override and get me on the 2nd (of 3 flights with empty seats)."

Cons: "The plane took off much later than it was supposed to, so we were already behind. Once we got onto the runway, the plane turned around and went back for three people who had missed the flight. I suppose if I had barely missed the flight, I would want the plane to turn around. However, those three people held up a plane that was completely full and had standby passengers. Through the entire flight, there was an issue with the seating and there was a man standing up at the front because he had nowhere to sit. It was one of the most bizarre flights I've ever taken... and I fly about 15-20 times a year."
Pros: "I LOVED the staff on this flight. Especially the man, I didn't catch his name but he was the friendliest flight attendant I have ever met. He had a warm smile the whole flight and helped me get an ice pack for my back when I was in pain. Every time he got something for someone he was smiling and happy which made me and my husband smile and happy. He should be recognized because he made our experience very enjoyable. I have never been on a flight where the service was constant, all of the flight attendants walked up and down the aisles throughout the flight making sure everyone was doing good. Typically, they go down the aisle with the service carts once and thats it, but they made sure everyone was taken care of for the whole flight. Thank you for the great flying experience after a long and tiring trip!! We were dreading the flight but the staff was great."
Cons: "Waiting in the Charlotte Airport for the flight to board was a bit irritating because the two girls that were supposed to call the sections for the flight were on their phones and not very present with what was going on. We boarded late and i am not sure if this is because the flight itself was late or they were just slow with the process.. The only thing I would complain about the flight itself is that we had to wait on our plane for about an hour after we landed. This, I know- has nothing to do with AA and the service/staff. I think this is something that SFO is responsible for, and I felt bad that people were taking it out on the crew."

There was no entertainment unless you downloaded the app."

The second delay was due to someone putting way too much fuel in the plane so we had to wait for the excess fuel to be removed. Then the flight attendants ended their shift so we had to wait for another crew that was flying in from Denver. This involved us having to remove all of our things from the overhead bin and get off the plane and re-board about an hour and half later. I was supposed to make it to Dallas at 8:45 and instead didn't make it until after 12:30. It was extremely inconvenient and unpleasant. I have not experienced such a nightmare before with any previous airlines."

Cons: "Dear United Airlines, It is my dearest wish that reading the following inflicts upon you at least a fraction of the stress, frustration, and pain that I have been through traveling with you today- you absolutely abhorrent excuse for a company. Due to your incomparable incompetence my arrival was inexcusably delayed almost 12 hours. An account follows: For a company who's customer service is already hanging by a very thin thread you would think that you would be doing everything to make your flights as smooth and pleasant as possible. Shall I elaborate on the utter frustration and boredom of being trapped in the San Francisco airport facing not one, not two, but what became SEVEN delays? Delays that have been caused by runway maintenance- a condition which someone in your company would have known about well before I got to the airport and that you simply did not plan for. A almost FOUR HOUR delay that could have been easily avoided if you just had things together and scheduled your planes around the affected runways. And let's not forget the additional delay caused when your flight crew simply couldn't be found to come to the gate so we could start getting underway! But no, I think the absolutely outstanding quintessential experience that defines flying with United airlines is this: After the above delays myself and my fellow passengers were finally able to board our flight- only to be told by the captain that there would be another brief delay while we waited for ANOTHER crew member because one of the pilots was near the end of their union hours. We sit on the plane stuck for another 20 minuets or so, only to be told they can't find anyone, and can we please get off the plane because our WHOLE FLIGHT is CANCELED. The kiosk I get to try and fix this is uncrowded but understaffed and run by clearly undertrained employees. The ones I'm dealing with keep having to ask each other for help, and give advice/plans that contradict one another. One of theme even takes what seems to be a personal call while 'assisting' me. When I finally get ahold of a supervisor I have to plead to get the next flight out of this godforsaken place, which I am reluctantly given as its with one of your competitors. Talking with other customer and airport staff is sounds very much like you are delaying/canceling flights for your own personal gain or at least not correcting flights around the situation to squeeze more money from the situation) it becomes quite clear that you are not only still incapable of accepting any real measure of accountability but entirely disgracefully unorganized.  Almost 12 hours later I do finally make it home- thanks to American Airlines.  Only to have the utter displeasure of one last interaction with United wherein when I pick up my bag your employees insist that I was delayed due to the weather and it wasn't your fault. It was entirely absolutely your fault."

Yes, we were upgraded from economy but we felt she should have given us the same service as the other passengers. When she passed snacks she quickly put the basket in front and didn't even give us a chance to say no before walking off. Didn't offer refills to us but others were given refills/offered."

I will never forget my experience in Newark, New Jersey. I met a wonderful woman named Yevette who checked in my luggage. She is to be commended on going above and beyond the call of duty. I don't know her last name. She knew I was very upset because I was leaving my 22 year old baby in Connecticut. She sympathized and comforted me. She put her arms around me and assured me that everything was going to be alright. She is a wonderful woman with a big heart. She is the true meaning of a lady. On my way home, again the flight was delayed by an hour because of something on a previous leg. Because of this, I am going to go with any other airline first. I think Frontier should either co-op with other airlines to get people to their destinations on time or have more planes.......or AT LEAST have someone at the gate to offer next day service or a voucher or a free snack or something. I also do not like the whole A LA CARTE theme with this airline and Spirit Air. I do not like that I was going to be charged for a coffee or a coke. The whole thing is too confusing, and I am going to pay more for an American, United or Southwest flight next time."

Cons: "Check-in was atrocious as we watched the clerks migrate from one crisis to the next, and no TSA pre-check. WAITING at every stage of the flight. You would think a one-way would be simple, but no. An hour at the departure terminal, delayed in-air, then sitting on the taxiway for an hour and a half at the destination, followed by more waiting at the gate. The pilot's excuses didn't help any, clearly trying to avoid an onboard riot for a flight in which we waited longer on the ground than we flew in the air. We checked the board afterward to see if any other airlines' flights were delayed--nope, only Frontier, every one. It's clear what happens. They pay the least possible expense for airport services, and are then the lowest priority at every stage of operations, resulting in delays at every phase of flight. The most frustrating flight I've ever had that didn't include actual incompetence or bad weather."

Cons: "All other airlines carge $25 for the first checked bag and carry-on is free, naturally I assumed this for Frontier. Frontier, $30. Then you would think the employee checking me into my flight would have told me or warned me about a carry-on fee. I had to find out at the gate that Frontier charges up to $60 for all carry-ons. Now I know why the tickets are so cheap, but if you have any kind of luggage, you might be bettet off just paying what the other airlines are charging for airfare (might be cheaper, especially after Frontier's luggage fees)."

Cons: "The seats were the most uncomfortable thing ever. They are hard plastic with a thin pleather lining and don't recline. I could not get anything close to comfortable the whole flight. The "tray tables" are so tiny, they could never hold anything remotely close to the size of a tray. You can't even have a cup of coffee on it and rest your book or tablet next to it. They don't serve so much as a free cup of coffee. And we each had to pay $30 for our carry-on, which pretty much wiped out the savings of a Frontier flight. Our checked bag arrived about an hour and 15 minutes after we landed. The experience was just awful overall. It's just not worth the lower price, believe me."

Also, the seats do not recline which made it pretty uncomfortable."

Pros: "On Friday, July 8, at DIA airport I waited almost an hour before someone took me to my gate A42 for Flight 122 supposedly departing at 8:10 and boarding at 7:35. Finally, I had to bring this to the attention of the ticket agent as I did not want to miss my flight. Noone came and the poor overworked worker took me at 7:45 -we did not arrive at the gate until 8 o'clock (luckily the TSA checkpoints were NOT busy) and had the flight been on time, I would probably have missed it. This gentleman asked repeatedly for assistance for over 40 minutes and no one came to his aid. I panicked and I want Corporate to know they need to hire adequate help so their customers are not treated like dirt. Once I boarded, the crew was fabulous! However, I am not happy about such a horrible experience. I deserve a refund or free return ticket for my inconvenience. I have flown other airlines and have never had such a negative experience with wheelchair assistance!!!"

Pros: "This was my return flight and first time on Frontier, it was an effortless flight coming and going, staff were very nice and I will definitely be a frequent flyer on Frontier Airlines."
Cons: "There was nothing I didn't like the plane was clean and the staff were courteous."

Cons: "Flight leaving Milwaukee was delayed due to technical problems. Got on the plane an hour late, sat on the plane for over an hour, had to get off the plane and wait in the terminal for 2 hours therefore missed my connecting flight and have not arrived at my final destination. There was nothing offered for the trouble or inconenience (snacks, drinks, etc.). I had to miss an important meeting and never want to fly Frontier again."
Pros: "Awesome helpful flight attendants. My bag needed to be moved because it wouldn't fit in front of my feet and the flight attendant moved it for me."
Pros: "The best part about the flight was when we landed in Dallas."
Cons: "The most uncomfortable flight I have ever been on. The seats were very hard and could not adjust. There was no information about the flight provided at any time during the flight except for when we were preparing to land. Compared to American Airlines (which we flew with on our way to Denver), Frontier has no comparison. There was absolutely no entertainment provided, and there were additional costs and fees at every turn. Not only do they charge for any and all refreshments, they also charge you to have a carry-on bag. The flight was also very very loud. The cabin rattled and roared for the entire hour and a half flight. We will not be flying Frontier again unless some major upgrades are made."

Pros: "First trip on Frontier- large plane, roomy seats and nice crew- will fly with them again."

Pros: "First time flying with Frontier. No complaints other than having to pay for my carry on luggage. But when I only spent $80 (taxes and fees included) to fly from Dallas to Denver, I'm still happy."
Cons: "I bought my ticket online for $41. I went through two long lines to get my boarding pass. At the end of the second line I was refused a pass because it was 25 minutes until flight time. I was told I had to be rebooked on another flight to the tune of $99 plus $30 baggage fee. Since I had no other choice I rebooked for a flight NINE hours later. After all this I was sent to TWO different WRONG gates nearly missing that flight. At least I got an apology for that. The wrong gate fiasco was because Frontier shares gates with Jet Blue and Spirit. I could not hear the gate change announcements because I am hearing impaired. A lovely way to spend a day in Denver!"
