One blondish wm stew with long page-boy like hair cut also verged on rudeness through her inability to hear, understand and desire to chant rules rather than to hear what was actually happening ... both of them more than mildly disappointing. Pros: "Flight was late leaving JFK. I paid extra for Comfort Plus and had the most uncomfortable seat ever. My back ached during and after the flight. Absolutely the worst seat ever that I have had flying. While it was a short flight we were supposed to get serviced during the flight, but there was no cabin service unless you were in 1st class. So much for the perks of Comfort Plus as there were none. Not even a glass of water. Wow! When we landed late obviously because we left late we were late and there was no ground crew to get our plane to the gate so we sat for over 1/2 hour on the taxi way waiting for ground crew to be available for us to get to the gate. To add insult of injury when we did get to go to the gate there was no gate available for use so we had to deplane in the rain down the emergency stairs. They said that if you had a problem with the steep stairs that they would make other accommodations. Probably would have been another delay so we all carefully went down the steep slippery stairs. I doubt that the stairs met any OHSA or safety requirements except for emergency issues. They were wet and slippery. This was the absolute worst trip that I have taken with Delta. It will seriously influence my future trip decisions."

The seats were so small and tight and then we had to get off the plane and take all of our belongings and waited another 3 hours to get back on the plane after they had told us something was wrong with the plane. It was a horrible experience. And we received nothing for the inconvenience when I had to cancel my work day so I had no compensation and lost clients because of cancelling last minute on them."

Cons: "It was myself, my wife, and our 18 month old son. The trip was a complete disaster. The first delay was from 12 noon to 7:30 pm because the plane was unavailable. We left the airport and returned at 6 pm for the 7:30 pm departure. The plane was "available." We checked our bags, found our way to the gate, and eventually boarded "ontime." Instead of taking off, however, we sat on board the plane at the gate for 2 hours as work was being done. The work was first called "maintenance," then "a small error code." The captain teased us by saying "folks, just a few more minutes and we should be departing." The crew nourished us with a dixie sized cups of water and Chex mix. Then finally the airline gave up and deplaned everyone. Once deplaned, it was explained to us that they couldn't clear the error code, so they couldn't use that plane. But there was another plane coming from Las Vegas to use so that we could expect a departure around 12 midnight. 12 midnight rolls around. Nothing. 12:30 am. 1 am. Finally, a plane arrives. But then the airline holds us up yet again - turns out we can't depart after all because the arriving airport shuts down at 2 am. Gee, they didn't know that before making us wait another 3 hours??? Now they're offering a refund to anybody who wants one, as well as a hotel for the night and the promise of a flight at 2:30 pm the following day. At this point, many of us are looking up alternative flights to Eugene and even Portland. A $1,000 extra for us. We're not sure whether we can trust Allegiant to have an actual plane ready to go the next day. And we're too tired at that point to even ask why the next flight would be at 2:30 pm rather than first thing in the morning. So finally we line up to get a hotel voucher and find our way to the hotel. It takes over an hour to checkin at the hotel because it's the middle of the night and 150 people just showed up to checkin. We finally get to our room at about 3:30 am. I'm amazed at how well our toddler held up sitting on an airplane for 2 hours, sitting at the airport for about 6 hours, and waiting to fall asleep all night. We eventually made it back to the airport the following afternoon and, praise the lord, made it to our destination. Allegiant - NEVER AGAIN!"

A 3 day trip was decreased to a 2 day trip. Extremely disappointed. After sharing our experience with others we heard the same thing happened them."

Pros: "We were supposed to have boarded for 5:00, flight was at 6pm. They were missing 1 crew member and could board the plane. She showed up, then they made a announcement that the Oakland flight will be delayed till 8:10 takeoff. I was able to get on a flight to Stockton Airport without problem. They wouldnt tell me what was wrong, and i didnt want to chance that it was the last dlight to Oakland and went with Stockton. The flight was good, you have to pay for your water."

Pros: "The price of the flight was cheap, but i know why. You ended up paying for your carry on luggage, ypu pay for seat assignment if you want to guarentee sitting with you party, you pay for soda. My flight was 1.5 hours late, due to mechanical problem. Plane was janky and it felt like it STILL needed repairs."

Cons: "6+ hour delays Plane looked to be in sad shape, paint peeling, looked bolted together from spare parts. Strange Air Conditioning issues mid-flight that turned the plane into a walk-in freezer. upon landing our entire flights bags were abandoned and there wasn't a single Allegiant representative in the airport to communicate with the airport baggage people. After 1.5 hour wait our bags were finally offloaded onto the baggage claim by an airport employee not normally tasked with the job. Allegiant was paged over and over with no response. I will NEVER fly Allegiant again."

Cons: "The LA to Eugene leg was delayed in departing, but this was an improvement on the cancelled flight from Eugene to LA. Arrived at the airport 2 hours early per their instructions to find the flight was delayed. Thirty minutes later they cancelled the flight and then provided no information concerning the new flight the following day."
