I like Alaska’s dedication to safety. The plane was clean and everyone was diligent with observing mask rules. It made me feel safe.

Pros: "The crew was good. The problem was our Qantas flight from Auckland New Zealand, to Sydney, Australia, to San Francisco, to Seattle didn't sync with Alaska Air. We arrived in San Francisco after a very long flight. We had gotten our boarding passes in Auckland. When we went to board in SF, there was a glitch and they wouldn't let us board. It took a long time to get that fixed. We missed our flight (with our luggage on it), and had to wait several more hours. Plus Alaska Air had cancelled a flight mid morning and the trickle down result was many people were stuck and waiting on flights. Then we had to wait for a crew to come, then they found something wrong with the plane so had to get in a new plane. It was a long and hard day for everyone."

Cons: "There was an issue that was beyond the control of the ground staff (the ladies and gentlemen at the check-in counter) that resulted in a three hour delay. I think they could have been a little more forthcoming about the whole situation instead of just saying “we’re working on it, safety is our number one concern at Alaska Airlines.” They however give us a voucher for $75 credit toward our next flight with Alaska Airlines, and that notification came through before we had even disembarked at our destination. I appreciate their understanding and willingness to try to make an undesirable situation better. I would fly Alaska Airlines again."

I’m a very understanding person, but even after all of my attempts to warm up (i.e., drinking hot water, moving around, etc.) I was miserable and on the brink of tears. I understand staff must follow company policy but I found this to be horribly inhumane. After reaching out to corporate my issue was never resolved."

On two instances, first during the mid flight cockpit bathroom break, and second during the 30 min final descent, the crew engaged in conversations between themselves in such load and animated voices that it was impossible for passengers sitting in the first four - five rows to ignore them. During the cockpit break, the young handsome pilot flirted with the young beautiful flight attendant who had positioned herself to block access to the forward bathroom. They chatted for what seemed like 10 min, her standing and facing us, him standing directly behind her, also facing us. We felt like we were on a soap opera set. And during the final 30 descent into Seatte, when we from Florida were extremely tired, the two forward flight attendants talked with each other in such load voices that it was impossible to keep reading my book. Admittedly, they were just chatting, but doing so in such a load voice that we could not escape."

Cons: "Our original flight was cancelled with no explanation. My girlfriend was notified of this and I was not. When I called to get my flight details I was informed that I was to fly out on a completely different day instead. After explaining that there was no chance of that happening, the call center rep was happy to help. The flight was now an American Airlines flight booked through Alaska. About 3 days before our flight we both received calls from American saying that they did not have our passenger information. Apparently Alaska just didn't transfer that over. We also now had two confirmation codes as the returning and connecting flights were still with Alaska. Once we got to the airport on the day of I was able to print my American Airlines boarding pass, however I could not print my Alaska boarding pass on neither American nor Alaska's kiosks. It was a redeye flight as well so there was no staff at the check in counters yet. We ultimately did get to our destination, but it was such a completely unnecessary headache to get there."

Pros: "N/A. Because of bad weather on Vancouver Island, my flight to Vancouver was delayed two hours and I missed my 230p flight to Seattle. Alaska had no other flights available from Vancouver that would get me to San Diego and other later flights that day from other airlines were over booked. I stayed the night and flew out the next morning on a direct flight to San Diego. The flight was fine. The flight crew was nice, they offered us drinks and snacks and the air condition worked. The reason I included the AC is sometimes it doesn't work and that's miserable. There's not too much else to add."

Cons: "The website wouldn't complete online check in so I arrived early (0415 for a 0600 flight). The kiosks were mobbed and several were not functioning. Only one poor staff member was there to assist literally hundreds of irate passengers. The line for check in at the desk with live assistants was also several hundred people long. I finally got my boarding pass and bag tags at 0517. Then the bag drop off was broken. One poor staff member with an I pad was trying to scan all the checked luggage. I was directed to leave my bags against a wall and hope that they would make my final destination. Obviously people were anticipating not having luggage at their destinations and were opening bags to remove a few items of clothing. I finally got to the tsa check point at 0533 and begged my way to the head of the line (thank god for global entry and tsa precheck! And a thank you to all the people at lax that let me jump the queue) The flight itself was lovely. I slept until landing. Alaska airlines, please hire more staff."

Cons: "1) not that alaska does any worse than others, but boarding is increasingly unpleasant. 5 grades of 'rewards' groups boards, then children, then military, then the elderly, etc. by the time people who paid full fair for their tickets board there's no overhead space left. by charging for any checked bags, the airlines are creating a very stressful and disorganized boarding experience; 2) the ambiance is just dull: cheesy music, dull, grey colors, poor lighting, etc. it just feels as if you're in a space designed by someone with no taste--and this is from the company that bought and killed virgin!? 3) the food is the same cheese plate and tapas plate i get on other airlines. 4) no special greeting upon boarding. it wouldn't take much to make the entire experience pleasant, but alaska and others don't feel the need to make the effort."

Upon rebooking a flight, it became apparent I would be on the last flight into Boise but that was delayed 4 hours! The topping on the cake was my luggage had 4 hours to get on board BuT did not get there. Why must it be inspected twice? My luggage was still in Seattle Jan. 5. It finally came in late, by that time we drove back to Hailey, Idaho. Thankfully my luggage arrived by 1:00 am Jan. 6 ! Sorry, I was not impressed. On one flight Dec. 18 , to BC, Canada, the Alaskan stewardess said she was sorry but could not even offer us water, reallly? Susan Teed"

Cons: "This flight was very confusing and flow of information was poorly managed. I got an email about 3 hours before takeoff that the flight was cancelled, then another that it was reinstated. Then when I called to speak to an agent I was told it moved from one airport to another in a nearby area. There was a free shuttle from the original airport but I elected to take a taxi since it would be quicker and there wasn't much notice. So I made it to the new airport on time but those who came via shuttle took ages, delaying the rest of the passengers. Taxis should have been guaranteed covered for everyone so that we could have departed on time, which impacted on everyone's day. And the flow of information could be much more accurate and streamlined in the run up to departure instead of constantly being changed. It was very confusing."

The flight kept being delayed with no explanation of whether or not it would even fly. We were told missed connections would be dealt with but they weren't. It ended up two hours late, had I known I would have gone to eat somewhere and avoided the terrible egg mushroom thing served on the flight. After landing , many were left with no idea how to get to their destinations and no recourse. The crew was great in the flight, though. Whoever maintains your aircraft should make sure problematic aircraft not be used to transport tens of thousands of your dollars. Very disappointing, considering this was my first flight with Hawaiian, I had heard they were the best. Noteworthy though, that my trip TO Portland with your airline was top notch. The return, however , leaves me with a bad taste and I don't think I will choose it again"

The Hawaiian music and informative video are lovely touches. 1) I do NOT appreciate the $25 charge for luggage. Southwest does not charge for checked bags, and they are thriving. I think it's greedy to charge for luggage. 2) I wish they'd offer a meatless option when serving meals. So many people are plant-based now and I wish HA offered that to patrons. 3) Movies and TV in-flight should be free, as in...gratis. Other carriers offer free in-flight entertainment and HA should not charge. 4) The planes are nice, the crew is FABULOUS; truly a standout in the industry. They have that beautiful Aloha spirit."

Flight attendant seemed to not care and did nothing to alleviate my concerns. For 6 hours, the other persons body was touching mine and I couldn’t recline. Why upgrade?! Picking up check in baggage was a pain since you have to wait for a shuttle to bring you to the baggage claim area, this doesn’t have to be done with other airlines apparently. Bring your own entertainment and food. I wish I’ve known all this before booking with Hawaiian. It was my first time and will be my last time booking with them."

Cons: "We purchased tickets to Maui months in advance. We chose our seats. The morning before our flight we printed boarding passes and paid for check bags. That night, approximately 12 hours before take off I received a notice from Google stating the flight hand been cancelled. To this day I have never received any communication from the airline stating the flight was cancelled. I called Hawaiian and asked about the cancellation. After waiting for the customer service person to find out what the status was, she simply said there was scheduling issues. The best she could offer was a flight the next day. We lost a whole day of our vacation and lost a significant mount of money. Hawaiian offered no compensation and did not seem at all apologetic for canceling an entire flight at the last minute for "scheduling issues." We will do our best never to fly Hawaiian again. They clearly do not value their customers."

Cons: "Most movies were “paid” selections so I didn’t even bother, seats were very narrow even for a shinny person like myself. It seems that they installed more row of seats than much needed restrooms. They only had two in the back, only two in the middle of the economy section, I don’t know about the coach class and the first class cabin but as far as the economy class that was it, and that’s terrible. That is less than a half restrooms normally available on other carrier I’ve known. They should learn from ANA or Canada Air. The cabin temperature seems to be rather cold throughout the flight, yet there was no pillow (only paid one) nor blanket available."

Cons: "This was by far one of the oldest planes I have been on in several years. Gawain is known for their entertainment, but this planes had only shared screens and our radio/sound was not working including the lights and call buttons. Upon reporting this to a flight attendant, I was told they would return to work on it, but it wasn't until I reported it again that another attendant worked with us to (unsuccessfully) attempt to restart the system. In the end we just had no entertainment for the flight."

Pros: "The staff were above and beyond. Organized, on-time boarding. The pilots were great. The seats were nice. The tropical beverage offered was lovely. We had a toddler on board a few rows up who either screeched or cried the whole time, as in 5 of the almost 6 hour flight. A REMINDER TO BRING YOUR EARPLUGS. The parents did their best, and at one point I was in the aisle with mom and baby during some turbulence and the child got sick. I let the attendant who was serving drinks know about the situation and he didn't miss a beat and helped mom and baby recover, and got the area cleaned up. It might not sound like much but it was the above and beyond that most people don't realize flight attendants take care of routinely. I appreciated that."
Cons: "The sugary breakfast. I was so surprised that literally nothing in the breakfast did not contain lots of sugar. The bread was inedibly sweet, the nonfat yogurt was overly sweet and had a weird chemical taste. Please at least low fat. Grapes, one of the highest sugar fruits, were the only thing I was able to eat. Please consider offering low/no sugar breakfast options, and wheat free options. I would have loved a hard boiled egg and some cheese and fruit. Couldn't really figure out the entertainment screen. Couldn't get the movies to load. I wasn't that interested in the screen but others might be. Tip: the jack is in the armrest."

Also, my disabled wife was not allowed to have the bulkhead seat because it had previously been assigned to a completely healthy child and mother. there should be some kind of priority system for those seats."

The display had issues when I tried to turn it off - it would randomly come on. The volume for the "advertisements" were ridiculously louder. In fact, they were louder than the safety announcements from the staff! Gotta pay $25 for a checked bag."

However, for some reason, everyone (+all our baggage) had to get off the plane about 15 after minutes after this announcement, and the flight ended up being delayed by ~2-2.5 hours. There was no compensation."

Pros: "My experience boarding was a bit of a disaster as the boards at the airport stated an incorrect gate and reported an hour delay which was not correct. I ended up having to sprint to make the flight in a different wing an hour before I thought it was leaving. I barely made it onboard. I think this is an issue with the airport, not the airline but this is the only forum I have to state this. My experience with the crew was amazing. Very welcoming and hospitable. My experience with the airport staff was the opposite. Very unhelpful and cold. The flight went fairly smoothly, but, as is the case with most American airlines these days, the seats are uncomfortable and cramped. The inflight meal was good (for airline food) and very much appreciated on the 6 hour flight. Overall, this was a pretty typical American flying experience. Unfortunately, I was returning from flying with Asian and Australian airlines which were much more comfortable and customer-focused, so my experience on Hawaiian seemed subpar."

Cons: "not a big deal but 2 things: 1) plane was a bit dirty in between the seats. 2) we also were in the terminal but getting food when we heard our names on the overhead pager saying they were going to close the gate in 5 minutes and if we didn't get on we'd be left behind. That was 30 minutes before take off that they were going to close the gate. We rushed over and ended up boarding and then waiting on the plane forever. not sure whey they need to get everyone on so early. I guess i'm used to flying southwest airlines where they let people run up 5 minutes before they close the gates."

Cons: "It was frustrating that the crew would announce things like the private island that only one part of the plane's passengers could see and which had no bearing on our flight. Then it was translated into Japanese so took even longer while some people were trying to finish a movie. I was really disappointed by the small plane. We purposefully chose not to fly on a Chinese airline from China but chose Hawaiian instead because we thought the plane would be bigger. We won't be using Hawaiian again from Asia."
Cons: "Requested a window seat for my disabled daughter in February for our July flight. Agent assured us she would be in a seat with a window. When we got to our seat there was NO window. Of all the seats with windows on this plane, how could someone do this? Then when we loaded they placed one of our carryon bags in the back of the plane. We had to wait until everyone departed before getting our bag. Never again on Hawaiian Airlines. Still have to take the return flight. Not looking forward to the flight..."

The seat back entertainment screen didn’t work at my seat. Staff was great.
The plane was hot. my seatbelt was too small; of the 4 planes we were on on this trip, this was the only belt I had a problem with. The in-flight entertainment screen was not responsive so it was stuck on one movie the entire flight. This experience was very much unlike any other Delta experience.
Airport experience is exhausting. Extremely long lines for check-in and then even longer lines at TSA. Hand sanitizer stations are almost all empty and in the mens room, people are crowding together to get soap from one dispenser that has just a bit left... flight was no better than Southwest Airlines, and it took over an hour for the bags to start coming out. Delta bag claim attendant just said, "I don't know what's going on with them, just wait a bit longer".
As with the outbound flight, this return flight was not full - maybe 40-50%. As they started boarding they announced they located a few people the help with 'load a balance' of the aircraft. What they had done was to compress all passengers in the middle of the plane leaving no space between anyone. It is difficult to understand why everyone is required to wear Masks, then relocated to remove all space between passengers, when there was ample room to allow everyone to be seated with space between.

As a silver medallion I don’t know how to request upgrade and when I call delta I have been on hold 3 times for over 2 hours each and can’t reach anyone.

Pros: "We flew from Anchorage to Boston via Seattle. If there had not been a delay in Anchorage, the flight would have been excellent. However, there was a mechanical problem earlier in the day with a plane to Cincinnati. Our flight was scheduled to leave Anchorage at 4pm, but Delta decided to take our pane from us and use it as a substitute for the original but nonfunctional Cincinatti plane. A ridiculous decision. The Cincinnati people already had missed all their connections, but now all the Seattle people missed theirs as well. When we finally got to Seattle 3 hours late (just before midnight), the desk agent said that Delta had no hotel rooms for us and also no hotel vouchers. We thus had to find a room and pay for it on our own. The next day, we had been rescheduled to Detroit and then on another flight from there to Boston. The flight to Detroit arrived nearly 30 minutes late, and we just barely made our connection. Had we missed it, we would have had to spend that night in Detroit. Delta did its best to keep the two of us together. On the Seattle-Detroit flight we were on opposite sides of the aisle in the same row, but that was in a row right behind a bulkhead, making it easy for us to walk over to each other. On the Detroit-Boston flight we were next to each other. Both flights were completely full, so Delta must have made some effort to keep us together as well as possible."

Pros: "The crew members were nice and didn't bother while sleep when giving out snacks & drinks (I've had this done to me before, annoying). Plane was comfortable because it wasn't packed, so was able to have a seat empty in-between me. The entertainment offered was really good, the connecting to the Go-inflight WiFi was a bit difficult, but no biggie."

Delta gate agent told me she would lose her job if she did not close the doors 8 minutes prior. However the Minneapolis flight waited for 15 minutes for people to board that plane. How does that compute? Why would they not wait 3 minutes for me rather than pay the money to put me up in a hotel?"

To start off, i was flying with two other people and we were not able to get seats together, and the whole seating process with delta is really difficult even when I had called weeks in advance to see if they could try and seat us together. I understand with main cabin tickets you can only choose your seat as you check in, but it would be nice to be able to request seating with a person/group you are flying with. I was placed in the very back row of a busy flight, and noticed that the horrible smell from the bathrooms which made it unpleasant. As said above, I normally have a pleasant experience.. but being a delta sky member I feel as though i do not really receive any differences as to a non-member. Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

Cons: "Allegiant 468 7/27 4 1/2 hour delay on flight 569 on 7/27 and not a single person on the ground or plane even said sorry. Allegiant also failed to update the revised departure time. Allegiant posted an initial delay of 30 minunutes but then, when there was a further 2 hour delay due to a problem with the plane in Vegas Allegiant didn't update the time. (G4 568 was showing a two hour delay, with a 1010 arrival into STS but Allegiant never updated the departure time for 569 to reflect the additional two hour delay.) It wasn't until I called that it got updated and when I called I had to point out that the airplane hadn't even left Vegas and Allegiant was still showing an 8:50 departure time. It also took the reservation agent over 20 minutes to get any information about what was going on. Lastly each and every time I call I was on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes before being able to speak to a person"

Well the first and worst thing is that you have to pay for a carry on bag. Which they tell you if you don’t read it when you book your flight. You can do it through their website at the ticket area. The staff in Sacramento were RUDE and wouldn’t answer any questions. I will NEVER book with Frontier again. Save the headache and book with Southwest so you don’t have to pay to carry your own bag on the plane. It cost me 41 and 37. On top of my fare. Which by the way went up as soon as I booked it. First it said 38 and then wouldn’t you know it, once I was ready to book, it went up to 78.

Cons: "Flight attendants continued to over serve drunk passengers in row 17 18 and 19. Two large parties came into the plane hammered. One spilled a drink on me while his buddies from across the aisle hit me in the eye with an empty liquor bottle screwing around. Another member of their party got up to go to the bathroom while we were landing. Flight attendants did nothing to accommodate me or the other 100 people pissed st the clowns. Last time I fly frontier most likely. I’ll be calling corporate shortly. Like to know why they continued to over serve them?"

Cons: "My flight was delayed over FOUR HOURS! My flight was supposed to take off at 2:53 pm and we didn’t leave SFO until 6:39 pm! I received a text message at 9 am telling me that the flight was delayed until 4:05 pm....okay, no problem, I had not left for the airport yet, so no biggie. At 10:48 am, I received another text that the flight was delayed until 3:35 pm...still not a problem. A couple of minutes later, another text. My flight is now on time. Still no problem, because I usually add in 30 minutes in case Murphy of Murphy’s law shows up and throws a wrench into things. I get to the airport with plenty of time to spare & clear security... then get a new text notification at 2:08 saying that the flight is delayed for FOUR HOURS!!! Are you kidding me? On top of that, the customer service representatives made an announcement that there was a maintenance problem with the original airplane and a new one was enroute to take up the slack. They said this as a statement and offered no apologies or sorry for the inconvenience. They stayed at the check in desk for an hour, and then left and didn’t come bac until 20 minutes before the plane arrived at the gate. I will NEVER fly this airline again!"
Pros: "When I told people I was taking Frontier, they scoffed, rolled their eyes, and joked that I'd have to pay to use the bathroom. Well, it wasn't THAT bad. In fact, I got an assigned seat (in contrast to Southwest). Plane was fairly new, and the seat wasn't too small (then again, not super big). One flight attendant tried to make the atmosphere festive since we were going to Vegas and some people got absolutely shit-faced on the flight. I thought this was kind of cool, but I'm sure some people were annoyed since the drunks got VERY loud. For the price, I would definitely go to Vegas from Indy on Frontier again."
Cons: "1. The guy in charge of the check-in area yelled at one of his employees and humiliated her in front of me. Super awkward. 2. They really do charge for water. OK, I can see charging for a Coke, but water? I thought there was a law saying airlines HAD to provide water on request for health reasons. Then again, I had a huge water bottle from home, so why am I bitching?!"
Cons: "Everything was good until the last flight from Denver to Las Vegas. They let us into the bridge but did not let is into the plane for a while because they just finished cleaning it and was waiting for maintenance to fix a broken chair, which made us stand and wait on the bridge. They should've just waited to let us in until the plane was ready instead of stocking us into the bridge.Additionally, as I was leaving the plane the one of the crew member was arguing with a customer, which could've been handle better."
Pros: "Well, first of all I did not go to Vegas...I ended up going to Detroit instead. I purchased the insurance only to find out you almost have to be dead in order to be able to use it. During my flight to Detroit a passenger had been drinking aboard the plane and police had to come aboard the flight to remove the passenger prior to allowing the other passenger to deplane first. We had to watch that entire ordeal while my loved ones waited at baggage claim to pick me up. The food selection wasn't very appetizing. However, some of the flight attendants were friendly...which made the flight bearable. My relatives fly frontier all the time and recommended I use them and I did, but I'm not sure I'll ever fly frontier again."

And i had ti catch a flight frim Orlando and had ti drive myself there. They lost my baggage as well .first night in vegas was ruined by Frontier Airlines. Did not know that I needed my pool sticks to play ahead of purchase new pool sticks they cost $1,200 and I had a purchase 1 days worth of clothes unreal never experienced anything like this such a horrible Airline"

Cons: "I was stopped at loading & forced to pay 60 for my carry on even though I checked early online & it showed I had paid 40 for my bag. It was misleading, also checked with a Frontier staff at check in desk & she confirmed I was ok. "Supervisor" at gate was very rude & turned & walked away while I was asking a question & trying to show her my email receipt. I have never gotten sick on an airplane before but I did on all my Frontier flights & there was no air sickness bags in seat. This trip was ridiculous from the start as my flight was changed from non stop direct to overnight layover in which I had to purchase a Hotel room as well as all the extra fees taken after purchase. Frontier is not "cheap" at all. And worst customer service I've ever dealt with."
Pros: "The initial price was great. The direct flight was fantastic. No wasted airport time."
Cons: "I paid an extra $16 because I thought I had to pay for my seat. It was an emergency aisle so I got more leg room, but my seat didn't recline at all. It was impossible for me to sleep during my 3 1/2 hour flight to Las Vegss. Each bag you brought must be paid for whether it was checked or carry on. My original ticket price was $241. With the $60 bag fee and $16 additional seat fee ( I did not reserve one on the way home, so there was no additional charge for that direction). My total was $317. I would have preferred a larger airline with reclining chairs and free movies."

Cons: "When I went to check-in for my flight and get my boarding pass, the Frontier employee at the counter asked if we had paid for carry-on bags online. We said no and she looked at our bags and said we were fine. When we got to the gate however, I was stopped and told that I needed to pay for my bag. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I explained that their employee at check-in told us we did not need to pay for a carry-on. They still forced me to pay AND tried to charge me the gate price of $60 which I refused to pay. If they were going to charge me for a carry-on, they should have made that clear at the ticket counter where I would have paid $45. They were incredibly rude about it and it seemed like a scam they had planned out to try and get $15 more out of passengers."

Cons: "I have traveled many places and have NEVER encountered such horrible service in an airport as I did at your Orlando airport / Frontier counter. I checked hours before was in the airport and long lines an hour and 1/2 before flight leaving and due to your Frontier agents at this counter I was unable to board. This happen to more than one passenger in line with me. This agent continued to argue with me rolling her neck and head at me rather than get me to t gate with an available half hour before take off. There was vomit at the counter which they refused to call anyone to come and clean up but overall NO ONE was on task. I will dispute the extra charges I have incurred due to this fiasco and will NEVER fly Frontier Airlines again."
Cons: "They lost the full planes worth of baggage at the arrival in Denver, we waited over an hour and a half for the luggage, while other flights arrived, got their bags and left. Attendant kept coming over the intercom saying they were looking for the bags from our flight. Once on the plane and the doors shut, passengers were not allowed to move to an empty row, because they said we did not pay for other seats in coach, so had to sit cramped in seats while multiple rows were empty or had only one passenger for the 3 seats."
Pros: "Like, it was a first time experience . Notone wewill repeat. First off chrck in was not available until two hours before departure no one was at the counters when issued a ticket from an attendant she acknowledged my carry-on but said there was no fee to pay when called to board the plane the agent told me to go back to the counter and register my carry-on I did not understand and was irritated when we paid a fee of $45 for that carry-on we were able to board no complementary beverages or water were offered on a two hour and 45 minute flight . It seems like and nickeled and dime operation sorry but hard backseats are not the way I want to travel so very mediocre"
Cons: "at 4:30 pm I had a text alert that the flight was delayed by 8 hours yet there was nothing done to replace crew who were going over their max hours. The pilot and both stewardess told different stories. At 1 am in the morning they claimed they were looking for replacements. It is bad enough having a flight canceled and having to drive 840 miles or wait up to 2 days to be rescheduled....but to have blatant lies told was even worse. Then cancel due to weather...when that was not the case..so baggage fees cannot be refunded. The baggage fees were almost as much as the airfare."
Pros: "$49 price for ticket from Pittsburgh to Las Vegas. (WARNING: uncomfortable seat only, doesn't include any baggage)."
Cons: "The seats are very uncomfortable. They are smaller than before and the airline claims they are "pre-reclined." The boarding process is poorly organized (should fill from back to front). The staff is not friendly. Food costs, they claim you can't consume your own alcohol, and they begrudgingly give you water if you press them. When the plan landed at the exact time the pilot predicted 4.5 hours earlier, they told us that we were "early" and kept everyone waiting with seatbelts fastened. In fact the crew frequently abused the seatbelts fastened light during calm air. Don't fly Frontier unless it is severely cheaper; the experience is terrible."

Cons: "The check in process was PAINFUL! The check in staff, only two ladies, were there by 4:30 but could not check in our bags until 5am, resulting in lines. Two staff members for everyone was not enough and one of them kept taking off to do something else, leaving only one person to check in. The Baggage Only line received way more attention, forcing the rest of us to wait longer even through we were line FIRST. You should take direction from Allegaint! I flew from Vegas to Fresno a few days later and their check in service was exceptional!"
Pros: "The efficiency of the boarding process. It was organized and fairly expedient."
Cons: "The exorbitant additional fees. Absolutely absurd to charge for a seat and carry-on luggage in addition to the plane ticket itself. My carry-on suitcase is HALF the size of the traditional size and paying $30 to bring it on the plane is insulting. The chairs were uncomfortable. They don't recline, no head rest, and no blankets were on board which made resting for my 5 hours across the country EXTREMELY uncomfortable. For all the extra fees you'd think a movie and some snack packs might be available. Then again, with the trays too small to fit even my mini iPad, there'd be no place to put them. No in-flight entertainment was a bummer too. I've usually been so happy on Frontier. Bit this experience will keep me from flying Frontier ever again."
Pros: "It was quick to get on the plane."
Cons: "I am very concerned with the staff of Frontier as how they could let not one, but two passengers on their flight who are CLEARLY past the legal limit of being intoxicated. I had two passengers, mother and daughter, who were in front, and beside me who were stumbling while walking to their seats, had slurred speech, and absolutely reeked of alcohol. I had made a point to one of the flight attendants about it, they did not do anything more than shrug it off, and then not only did I point that out, they went ahead and served them more alcohol 20 minutes later into the flight! More specifically two Coors and two small bottles of Vodka for the woman sitting next to me, and a Coors for the woman in front. They were causing me discomfort by making their drunken jokes, but the woman next to me made no due regard to personal space (which I get the airline at that point cannot control). However, the woman to my side had been alot less touchy-feely prior to receiving more alcohol. Not to mention I had paid the extra money for the assigned seats, which were added on to our total charges, but suddenly disappeared when I received my itinerary online. I will never book through this agency, or fly Frontier again."

Cons: "This was supposed to be a round trip ticket. My original flight from Las Vegas to Houston was delayed and delayed and then finally cancelled. I was checking your app religiously and it wasn't until BOARDING ( 12:20 in the morning) that it said the flight had cancelled. Your employees just ignored me when I went to the front desk to ask what I was supposed to do. They finally took notice of me and said the best they could do was TWO days later. I don't live in Vegas so I asked where I was supposed to stay and they said they couldn't help me with that. You were going to let me sleep in an airport for two days! I asked what I was supposed to do about food and you said you'd email me a food voucher (you didn't) and you said you would email me a 200 dollar voucher for my next flight (which you didn't)! I had to find someone to help me buy a different flight on a different airline because of how UNhelpful you all were. The most disappointing and absolutely terrible traveling experience I've ever had. I don't know when or if I will ever fly with you again."
Pros: "It was SUPPOSED to be a round trip. I arrived at LAS an hour before departure, and tried a kiosk. It advised me that I needed to see an agent. I get in line. 19 minutes later, I am informed that even though the plane is still at the gate, I missed the 45 minute deadline,and cannot board. The agent will not help me to book another flight, but gives me a paper with an 800 # on it. I am told that all of the next days flights are sold out. I managed to get a $287 flight t 6 am the next day, on a different carrier. When I arrived at Ohare for the return leg, I was charged $40 , for my carryon. When I expressed my displeasure at the charge, I was told that Frontier was a low cost operation and should not be surprised that I would pay more for extras. My response to that is "When did customer service become an extra, for which I should be charged?" I have found your corporation to be an overpriced low service airline, a soulless company intent on squeezing every cent out of each transaction, while providing even less than the bare minimum to the sucker who buys a ticket."

Cons: "The flight crew was atrocious. They were rude when they spoke to us and when I asked for refreshments they turned around as if to get them for me and then the lady sitting next to my husband had to get their attention again to ask a second time if I could have water and Chex Mix so I could take my medicine. I have serious health conditions and I couldn't even get water without paying $3 a bottle. It is disgusting to me that we are charged for flight and then charged for Refreshments during that flight. Any other Airline who charges for a seat to take you to your destination includes at least drinks and nuts for free but not you."
Cons: "When we showed up for our flight on Aug 28th the lady at check-in said we didn't have a seat and printed out a piece of paper with rules and guidelines on it she then handed me the paper and told me to check my bags in and go to the boarding gate to get more information on why I didn't have a seat, I repeatedly asked her why do I have to check my bags go through security go to the boarding gate if I don't have a seat she continued to tell me that's the procedure and they will give me the information, she was very rude so I continued to follow her rules I went to the boarding gate swear they told me I did not have a seat because the flights are oversold they told me they were going to give me a flight for the next morning and to come back in an hour and they would get it all situated so I came back in an hour they gave me my information for the flight the next morning but then they couldn't get my luggage back because they said it was too late to get it off of the plane where is I'm watching right out the window then load the luggage on the plane, I then proceeded to talk to a manager the manager said that she would have our luggage flown back to Las Vegas and sent to our hotel at 8:30 p.m. that same night August 28th and that never happened, I even called Frontiers baggage claim at 1:30 asking if they knew where my luggage was they said they had no idea and that they would send it out in the morning to my hotel I told her that's not necessary as I will be flying to Denver where my luggage should be in the morning she kept telling me she already was going to ship it to the hotel and couldn't understand why I didn't want it shipped to the hotel even though it was a pretty simple answer so she just continue to laugh at me and hang up, we also didn't get any compensation for an overbooked flight I would have to say that it's pretty horrible experience and knowingly that when I do fly it's usually with Frontier but all that will change"
Cons: "The flight was delayed a few hours. It took forever to Get out of the gate. It took an hour once we landed to get in the gate and deplane. I was given a seat on the computer and then when I got on the plane there were two people with same seat. The floors and seats were unbelievably dirty as well. I have never seen so much trash and crumbs everywhere. It was an awful experience. Our trip to Vegas the first night was ruined because we were planning to see a show Thursday evening and landed two hours late and could have possibly made it but we sat on runway for an hour before deplaning."

Cons: "On my flight to Denver, was never mentioned on anything about paying for my carry on. But on the way back to Las Vegas. They stopped us and was very rude about having to pay. Using the "they should have charged you the first time" I think its crazy to be charged for a carry on, if they charged me one way and not the other then i feel someone was not doing their job. But it was how rude the lady manager was when I also only had cash on me. They wanted to charge me an extra $5 to go do a pre paid card. this was 20 mins before flight left. They must get on the same paid either charge both ways or no way. especially $60 per bag"
Cons: "While I am thankful that we made it back to the airport after some mechanical issues. I called Frontier and ask them to get me on a different flight that night or first thing the next morning. They would not help me. They kept telling me I had to talk to the agents in the terminal. There were 200 other people standing in line waiting to be helped. They offered no alternative. Wouldn't even book me with another airline to get me to my destination. The best Frontier customer service on the phone would do was changed my flight to Saturday night. Which did not good since I was coming back from my trip on Sunday."

Cons: "Service at the gate was unprofessional. Customer service rep was arguing with crew members and pilot. A family of five were all separated throughout the plane and asked if there was anyway they could sit together. CS rep just shook her head and said no. Ultimately I offered up the seat I paid for so the mom could be closer to her kids and ended up sitting in the back of the plane in a completely empty row. Could the rep not have looked it up and seen there was an empty row and made accommodations for this family?? I shouldn't have to be the one looking out for YOUR customers. They don't pay my salary...they pay yours."
Cons: "I realize that there are some things that are beyond the control of the airline and I don't blame Frontier for the delay boarding or the rough weather, but after sitting almost 2 hours on the tarmac before takeoff and then the fasten seat belt light left on for the first nearly 2 hours of the flight, there was a plane full of passengers who desperately needed to use the restroom, myself included. What really annoyed me was that while rudely admonishing any passenger who dared trying to go to use the facilities to sit back down, the flight attendant herself went in the bathroom and relieved herself. When the seat belt light was finally turned off, I made my way to the restroom and this same flight attendant told me I would have to wait because another passenger sitting in the first row had been waiting a long time to go. I told her "everyone has been waiting a long time, well everyone but you." at this point she got very defensive and began yelling at me about federal regulations and so on and that she is allowed to use the bathroom. That may be true, but it doesn't make it right. Perhaps because I ticked her off, or perhaps just because of incompetence, my wife, myself, and the passenger in the third seat in our row were never offered any drink service. I did observe that even after the long delays and general ordeal of the flight, they were still charging passengers for soft drinks. I think a comped drink would be the least Frontier could do under the circumstances, but I guess anything resembling customer service is too much to ask. Add to all this the uncomfortable seats, the being nickel and dimed at every turn, which makes what first appears to be a good deal on a fight into one which is more costly than better quality airlines, I would advise spending a little more upfront for Southwest or some other reputable airline. You probably won't spend anymore in the end if you have luggage and would enjoy a beverage on the fight anyway and you will be treated with more respect and courtesy and other you will sit in a seat that doesn't feel like an old piece of plywood covered in vinyl. On both the flight to and the one from my destination, I noticed that the seats would not recline. I'm not sure if I had seats in rows that didn't recline or if none of them do."

Cons: "If you don't prepay for your checked bags online, they charge you more at the ticket counter for no reason. The Web site is very buggy and full of errors. It took forever to prepay for our checked bags. We even had to call their online support staff because their Web site is so full of bugs. They also charge even more for a carryon bag than a checked bag -- which is ridiculous -- so the entire overhead bins were empty. Insane. A few of the ticket counter staff were lazy rude utter morons. Others were helpful. The planes seem very old. The seats are uncomfortable and small. No entertainment system. Every little thing has an exorbitant cost -- including coffee or coke -- on a 4 hour flight. It's cheap ---- but not cheap enough for the horrible experience and lack of service and lack of quality or comfort. Buses are much more comfortable."
Pros: "For starters, the Crew was AWESOME !!! An attendant asked if I was military, I wear an Air Force cap my daughter gave me when she graduated. I said no, and explained it was my daughter's and she thanked her for her service and me for supporting her choice. A few minutes later an attendant asked if I would follow her, they had a different seat for me, she said. At first I thought I had the wrong seat. I stand 6ft 3in and about 270 lbs. economy seating is kinda cramped for Me. She directed me to a seat that had knee room and thanked my daughter for her service and me for supporting my daughter's choice to serve Our Country. This action just strenghtens my loyalty to Frontier Airlines and will continue to travel with you all I can. My trips with Frontier Airlines has always been a Good experience. This one was special because Your Crew of Attendants made it Special for Me. They are Real and Professional people. Let them keep doing what they're doing because it's working, for Me anyway. Thank You very Much"
Cons: "Just when you thought airline travel couldn't get worse, Frontier brings you hard seats that don't recline and tray tables about half the size of a sheet of paper. Want a real seat? No problem--pay more. Want what they call a "laptop-friendly" tray table? No problem--pay more. And don't expect to use TSA Pre-check: Frontier doesn't participate. By the time you've paid to bring luggage on your trip--whether checked or carry-on, it costs--you've racked up a cost you could have used to fly a real airline. Pretty soon they'll be charging extra to fly on a plane with wings. And then their website was down all morning when I needed to check in. I used to fly Frontier a lot. Never, never, never, never again."
Pros: "I like the fact that the management came up with an option to still fly the passengers to Las Vegas through another aircraft. I think the staff handled the situation very well. They maintained their professionalism despite the angry passengers. In fact, they were able to keep the mood lighter by smiling and throw small jokes once in a while. I want to commend these two employees who were there during this time. I wish I had their names but it was one male and one female. They were both black and both had long braided locks ☺ They were very accommodating."
Cons: "- I could see from my window seat that the ground crew had to unload ALL the luggages that were already on the plane and check them individually and manually, just to find the luggages of the unfortunate 41 passengers who cannot fly with us because of the limited seats of the new aircraft after the tail swap. It took them at least an hour and that obviously caused more delay for the plane to take off. - It was annoying to hear the foot steps of one of the crew members because whenever he walked by the aisle in the plane, he would literally stomp his feet which was very disturbing. The passengers were already exhausted and it was past midnighy, we all wanted to at least take a nap. - They should have at least offered free drinks like water or coffee inflight to compensate with the situation especially that it was already a red eye flight."

Cons: "1.) We sat on the runway in Vegas for 15 minutes waiting for a gate to open. 2.) They charged me to select a seat. 3.) They charged me to CARRY ON a bag ($45!) 4.) They don't participate in TSA Pre-check 5.) There was no organized line-up for each separate boarding group. 6.) I was seated next to a baby that screamed for 3 of the first 4 hours flight time w/o flight attendants doing anything to help the dumb-ass dad who neglected to bring a freaking binky w/him! I guess maybe I'm just spoiled by the FAR SUPERIOR service of Southwest Airlines. Last time I let someone else book my flight on another airline!"
Cons: "Frontier's baggage policy is such a rip off and comparatively over priced. They allow 1 checked bag for 40$ whereas American Airlines and others charge 25$ a bag. For carry on items Frontier charges 60$(!) We were two passengers with each allowed a carry on item. After paying for our 2 bags, we were about to board when the lady at the boarding gate insisted on having us pay for our carry on ( whilst they clearly say one carry on item per person ). We were threatened with being kicked off the flight if we didn't pay for the carry on. Other passengers were also subjected to this behaviour. Never flying Frontier again. Rude boarding attendant, and a rip off baggage policy."
Cons: "Trash and food covered the floors. The seats were very uncomfortable and not sure how you can call that a tray table. But I guess if you aren't serving food there's no real reason to have a table, except to allow your guests convenience. Charging fees for every little thing, including being able to pick a seat so you can sit with your party, is quite ridiculous. I don't fly a lot but I won't ever choose this airline again when I can get Much higher quality for the overall cost once the hidden fees were added."
Pros: "Text message notifications of flight delay, considering my flight was delayed multiple times, quickness of boarding, and short wait times at the ticket counter"
Cons: "The carry on baggage fee that I was informed of as I was boarding, causing delay to other passengers while other guests and myself are waiting to pay for a bag, or forced to throw items away. There is no reason for a carry on bag the size of a backpack to cost $30. I understand most airlines have started charging these fees now, but it is ridiculous to get to the airport and have to pay for every bag. I can buy a flight for $54 and end up paying twice that much just in baggage fees. Also why do the room in the seats seem to get smaller every time, no headrest, and I can barely fit a book on my tray table. A few money saving techniques male the flight that much less comfortable"
Pros: "Flight crew pleasant, even making sarcastic comments about the cheapness of their airline. For example, "If you don't like our service, there are 8 emergency exits on this plane." We arrived safely and our bags got there too!"
Cons: "It was a tough day due to weather delays and cancellations, but the airport crew was overwhelmed and failed to control the massive crowd. At one point, service members started calling out destinations and it became a free for all. Passengers jumped over each other and across the ropes to cut in front. Elderly and children were pushed aside. At the gate, it was announced "in 15 minutes, we will ask passengers needing help to board", followed immediately by another crew member "we are already boarding all passengers!", then right back to the first crew "we are not boarding yet, we will start boarding in 15 minutes". Confusion! Departure was listed on time, but we really left 40 minutes late."

Cons: "Frontier advertised cheaper fares but when all the nickel and diming is done (like the baggage fees, seating fees, in flight drink fees) your better off spending a little more up front with another airline than falling for their cheaper fares. They try to sell you 'a roomier seat' but delivery seats which reminds me of public transit. They don't recline and they also don't have a tray large enough to accommodate a laptop!! Hard plastic covered in vinyl with fancy stitching. Try sitting for 4 hours on that! Southwest is a much better choice."
Pros: "On time on the way out."
Cons: "Bought the ticket in Chicago because it was cheaper than flying out of Madison or Milwaukee. Even if I paid for a bus ticket from Madison to Chicago. When I went to check in it took 5 phone calls and 1 1/2 hours later. The reason for the call was the carry-on baggage charge which was astronomical and my question was is the $40 for round trip. Which it wasn't. Also, I was unaware of all the additional charges, seat, bottle water, soda etc. The biggest problem was no WI FI on board. I need to work while I was in the air for 4 hours. It took 5 phone calls because I couldn't understand the person trying to answrer my questions. I also couldn't check in because Frontier was not compatible with my IPad. Talk about getting frustrated. I had enough stress traveling for business. On the way back we were backing out to the runway heading to take off and the captain announced that he was turning around because a passage was vomiting due to overindulgence of alcohol. 45 minutes later finally backed out to take off. I barely made it to my bus. Thank god I can run fast. What a nightmare that didn't need to happen. It would have been way cheaper to fly out of Madison or Milwaukee. What really PMO was socking us traveler additional charge for so called peak time. WHO DO YOU THINK BAILED YOU OUT IN 2001? Your should be ashamed of yourselves."
Pros: "I have to admit, I liked the price. And now that I've flown the airline I understand why it has a low price. Which is okay, I saved enough money to cover my parking. I would say that 1st time customers might be unaccustomed to paying for your own beverages and snacks. The thing that struck me as odd was the staffs willingness even eagerness to have a confrontation with the quest. Like they took pride in putting passengers in their place for a few extra fee revenue dollars. The flight was okay, but Frontier airlines won't be my 1st choice next time."
Cons: "Rude staff! Baggage claim in Las Vegas was in another terminal, which I had To catch a shuttle to get to, which I'm sure is determined by fees the airline pays the airport. So the least expensive is not always the best thing."
