Cons: "This was the first time I've had a delayed flight on Alaska. They changed our gate and flight multiple times and our luggage ended up not with us, which has been a big inconvenience 2 days into our honeymoon."

Pros: "While flying to Portland from Maui, our next flight was cancelled. No one notified us of this while on the plane or as we exited the plane. My mom found out while I was in the bathroom. She talked to the person at the gate we had just arrived at. She told us we were rerouted to a better flight and told us to go to a specific gate. When we arrived at the gate, Rainy (your employee) explained the situation again calmly, printed our boarding passes, told us we had an hour to catch a bite and worked on seating us together on the plane (I am traveling with a child). When we came back to the gate to board, she had taken care of our seating issue and was very nice. If you are going to cancel a flight on a customer, this is exactly how it should be handled. Better flight, better time, calm and helpful staff. This was the most enjoyable flight of our trip. Nice size plane and great staff. Just maybe need to notify the on board stewardess, she doesn't need to project or yell to be heard for the courtesy of those who have been traveling all night."
Cons: "Knowing that we got very little rest on the overnight flight, I was looking forward to a good nap on this flight. I was getting it until the airline assistant decided to have a very loud, very long conversation with a passenger. I could barely hear the passenger, but the employee was speaking as if on stage at an ampitheater! I know where she use to work, how she became a stewardess, how many cities she has worked from, how many days she has off, and again how many cities she has been to, AT VERY LOUD LEVELS!"

Cons: "The crew was not very good at updating the worried customers about their connecting flight status considering that there was a 55 minute delay. I was the last person to board and I made it to the gate in the nick of time. It was really stressful. On my way to PDX I used SW and I had a connecting flight in Denver. However the pilot was very good about giving us an update and assuring that we will get there on time. I felt reassured that SW cared for its passengers and was trying to alleviate our stress."

Pros: "I have become a major fan of Alaska Airlines. Check In is so easy, the attendants are friendly, the food is worth purchasing (although a bit too spicy for me), the choices of flight times is impressive. I have flown with Alaska three times in the past year and every flight was booked solid. Must be lots of others who feel the same way I do."

Cons: "The plane was 2 hours late. We were the 1st flight in the morning. There was no beverage service on the first flight and by the second flight they then charged for alcohol when there was supposed to be a free drink on the first flight. No entertainment offered for a 5+ hour flight. I was initially excited to fly with Alaska and took a longer flight duration to do so and paid more because the company used to offer the customer more. I now see that is a thing of the past and will book with other airlines that still hold this value."

Several flights in the airport were delayed and my flight was supposed to be delayed 35 minutes and I had a 40 minute layover connection to make, so I wasn't sure I was going to make it. But the staff were super efficient with getting everything rolling and the pilot made good time. Made my connection with no problems!"

Cons: "The fact that the lack of knowledge regarding international travel visas by the counter staff and supervisor meant that two days of the vacation were lost. Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

Even when it became available however, we were forced to wait while ATC sent every other plain taxiing through our route which was clearly visible from our vantage point. Not an issue with Delta per se but nonetheless it left us all exhausted and frustrated."

Cons: "I chose my seats when I purchased tickets thru Expedia. Then for some reason Delta wouldn't allow me to keep my seats and I had to have them assigned at boarding. Why? What causes this? I was stuck in the back of the small jet from Minneapolis to Cwa when there were a few open seats in the middle. Disappointed. I won't be choosing Delta in the future!"

Pros: "I trusted Delta to take of my clients; Delta usually did. Rather, the employees of Delta did. Now when I travel, I prefer Delta (when they aren't too much more economically). Let me change that to I used to prefer Delta, because the times, they are achanging. My home airport is Atlanta, I'm usually traveling to Seattle or Portland; Delta is king in those routes. There's more flight time options, and the entertainment available is better."
Cons: "Here's where the picky comes in. I downloaded the 'Go Go" wifi app beforehand. When I tried to connect I received a message that it wasn't available on my routes. Why couldn't they tell me that it might not work on my routes before they took my money? Further, why wasn't it available? It's not like I was going on a multi city/country trip, this was Atlanta to Portland non-stop. Then there's the 'Premier Seating". I opted for it on my outbound flight and received TSA Pre Check. I didn't buy the seating coming back; I did not receive TSA Pre Check. Coincidence? My fare was more than Alaska Airlines was offering it for, I paid for the wifi that didn't work, and in order to avoid the back of the plane, you must pay. So, I guess I'll be going to Alaska Airlines. They don't have as many flights, but I don't feel dinged for more money every time I turn around."

They sat there and watched me for an hour not telling me I could not use cash to check in my luggage at the gate after they told me it was double the amount to check it in at the gate. The sight u use on the boarding pass u download on the phone is not clear. It says baggage fee +$25.00. I thought it was 25.00 till the women in Phoenix showed me the + sign. She said “it is confusing”. I did not buy the ticket because it was for an unexpected funeral of my sister. My other sister did so I didn’t see all the stuff from Travelocity. After telling me it would be $50.00 the check in male and female at the gate saw me sitting there for an hour and never told me I couldn’t pay cash. By the time it was boarding time if a nice woman did not offer to use her credit card and I have her the $50 cash I would have missed my flight. The manager at the gate in Portland even told me I would miss my flight. The two check in staff at the gate said “well we didn’t know you only had cash” and they weren’t even concerned that I was going to miss my flight. It would of been nice of them to tell me this when I sat there for an hour after they told me They we’re doubling the price. I would of had time to go back through security, only pay $25.00 and the other nice passenger would have not had to use her credit card. Very rude and poor service especially after a sad occasion of burying your sister!"

Cons: "We were not able to print our boarding passes the day before as expected per the website and purchase docs for the tickets, despite providing passport numbers (several times) and Global Entry registrations. Had to go to a ticket desk at first departure and third departure points to have them printed, with no explanations given. Also not allowed to choose our seats for the third leg. Food was barely edible. Paid extra for roomier seats on one leg, making it more comfortable, but were extremely tight on another leg which had many empty seats scattered throughout the cabin. Cabin attendants seemed more interested in pushing items that generated revenue than providing the ones that came with the ticket (which is never cheap to begin with)."

Cons: "Due to mechanical issues our 8am flight kept getting delayed in 30 minute increments until around 9:45 when the front desk attendants told us the necessary part had to be driven from Seattle and wouldn't be available until noon, and that their was no certainty the part would work, and that we should make other arrangements. So we did, but their earliest we could get us into Chicago was 9:30pm (original arrival was 2pm). We booked the arrangements only to find out that our original flight took off at 10:55 and American didn't even attempt to contact us. The cherry on top was that our flight (which was indirect through SFO) got delayed and we're now going to miss our connection in SFO. So currently looking at 10:30pm arrival in Chicago."

Cons: "I used to fly with American Airlines a lot more and every time the staff somehow finds a way to be rude and ruin my day so I try to avoid this airline. On this particular flight it was the very rude asian flight attendant that really set the mood. The attitude of the staff really makes or breaks the experience and it seems like American Airlines doesnt care about the quality of thier employees"

So I had to go spend a night in a hotel which I had to pay for and wait for the next flight in the morning the next day. Next day the flight got delayed yet again this time little over 2 hours. So I would've missed the flight from San Francisco do Honolulu yet again. This time they managed to find a little later flight and put me on that but still had to wait at the airports for over 8 hours. Super mad about how United works... Had problems with my boss as well because I was supposed to work the next day but they rescheduled my flight for that day. Really not a pleasant experience..."

It made the boarding and deboarding go very quickly. In the future when traveling to destinations outside of a major hub, I will look for flights with smaller planes. It was an incredibly pleasant flight experience."

I am trying to track down her name to file a formal complaint. She made a remark that was disrespectful to people not being able to "read" correctly, she was very rude. Also on our return flight it is not showing our seat assignments. Very poor experience with United. I will go back to Alaska and SW airlines before choosing them again."

($13-30) I was shocked. However, I realized later that if you scroll down all the way, there's a "skip" option. Turns out, you're paying to reserve a seat, versus them automatically picking one for you later. ಠ_ಠ I was a little upset when I realized this. -my tray table was the size of an ipad mini -they've shaved a few inches off of everything, so it was a tight fit. -everything but water costs money. Soda is 1.99 for an 8 oz can. -no tv, no headphone jack in the arm rest."

Cons: "Even though the ticket is cheap, you have to pay outrageous prices for literally everything else. You have to pay to reserve a seat (any seat) otherwise they can separate your family on the plane. You have to pay for drinks (even water) no matter how long your flight. You don't get a free carry on bag and if you don't book the bag before you get to the airport it can cost you north of 45$ to check it. The accommodations themselves were not great. The chairs have no cushioning, don't recline, are so close together that I couldn't cross my legs, and the tray table is 4 inches wide and couldn't even hold my laptop. The flight attendants on both flights were extremely rude and ran into me with the drink cart twice. One of the flight attendants when asked if the AC would be turned on since the flight was pretty warm asked if the woman wasn't just having hot flashes. She was upset tingly abrasive. The flight was delayed on the Tarmac for over an hour because the team couldn't load the baggage on the flight. The flight team didn't give us any explanation of the delay beyond that, they didn't update is on the expected time delay and they never apologized for the delay. When we did finally get going the flight crew was very rude with asking people to sit back down. Worst of all was that after all of that they lost my luggage. Despite a 2 hour layover and 1 hour delay at the gate specifically because they weren't done loading the luggage Frontier couldn't manage to get my luggage from gate 42 to gate 44... The whole experience was awful. I would never fly with them again no matter how cheap the ticket."

I've been to the Portland airport before, so I'm aware the security line is never too long, so I figured after dropping off our rental car getting in the airport at 7:00 when our flight leaves at 7:40 was no problem. We arrived, to check in and check our bag and the kiosk said see attendant. Only problem was, there was NO ATTENDANT even at the desk! They put up a sign that said check in desk closes 45 minutes prior to take off. What kind of airline closes check in desk before the plane leaves?!? We tried to get help from other airport attendants, who agreed we had plenty of time to get through security before our flight took off and thought that was rediculous as well. There was even a man who said he was at the check in desk at 6:40 (One whole hour before take-off) and no one was there to check him in. Finally after easing 45 mintues trying to get a Frontier attendant paged by Airport Help Desk, we all missed our flight. Finally a Frontier attentant came around, and said she couldn't do anything for us and we would each need to pay an additional $99 a piece to re book on another flight!! It takes a lot for me to get upset, but when I know I could have made my flight like 4 different times but I couldn't because I couldn't even check in to get through security...that's BS!!! And to be forced to pay an additional $99 to rebook, on top of already having paid for my round trip ticket, just totally proves that Frontier doesn't value their customers at all. I have been a frequent Frotier flyer these past few years, and after my experience, I realize it's worth it to pay a bit extra to fly with people who value you and dont try to scam you multiple different ways to make more money off you."

Pros: "Left and arrived on time despite snow in Denver, while many flights were canceled. Landing and flight were smooth. Courtesy was given to elderly parents who needed priority boarding"
Cons: "The interior has been redesigned, almost as if to punish passengers for cheap tickets. We all know that the price for cheap tickets is getting charged a la cart for everything (luggage, seats, etc), which is ridiculous but expected. What I didn't expect was that they replaced the seats with cheap minimalist seats with almost no cushion, no lumbar support, no reclining, no sound... nothing, except a half-sized tray and pouch. You'll have a sore back within the first 30 minutes of the flight. Worth it only for the price."

Knowing this would've caused me to rethink the ticket purchase in comparison to other airlines. I will not choose Frontier again on purpose! It's not worth it."

One personal item is allowed but if it doesn't fit entirely under the seat you will be charge a fee "greater than $40" to change it to a carry on. My personal item did not fit and I was not charged for a carry on. Personally I would be very upset if I had paid for a carry on and seen people like me get around this. No free snacks or drink on the flight either. Frontier needs to be more transparent with their pricing and take a lesson from an airline like Alaska that gives free beer and wine on their flights. Their website is very difficult to use on an iPhone and the only option is to print the boarding pass - not to email it or add it to passbook. I do not have a printer so I had to download the frontier app in order to avoid printing at the airport. It is clear that Frontier Airlines is pushing the bounds of "calculated misery""

Cons: "My flight was cancelled and there was no effort to get me onto another flight any sooner than they possibly had to. When they finally did get me on a flight a day and a half later instead of an hour layover I had a 9 hour layover and when I asked if it was possible to get on an earlier flight I was given attitude and treated very rudely and dismissed in spite of how polite I was. In addition to getting in two days late and coming in at 3am, my luggage was lost and there was no one who could assist me in the entire airport and when I called their customer service I was eventually hung up on, after sitting on the phone for 15 minutes, as it was after hours. When I did get a hold a representative the next day they were very put out that I didn't want to make the two hour drive to the airport to get my luggage and instead wanted it delivered. Worst experience I've ever had after many years of heavy travelling. Absolutely terrible."

I did online check in and paid for the bag check in but they can't be a t the front desk to take the luggage. And after making sure early enough I could have made it wasn't good enough they don't have a way to get me to mybdestination for another two days....and they wanted to charge me to go from Portland to San fransisco to take that flight that left the same tome as mine...so now they can't even use common sense..."

If they had told me from the beginning that the price did not include even a CARRY-ON, then I might have reconsidered this as the cheapest option. I ended up stuffing everything into my one allowed "personal item". Not flying Frontier again."

Cons: "missed our flight because the agents at the check in counter left to go to the gate counter. they are supposed to be at the check in counter until 45 minutes before the flight, but they left early. i couldn't get them back to the check in counter to get a boarding pass and check my bag so i called the 1800 phone number and sat on the phone while i watched my flight take off. i had plenty of time to make the flight, but you can not reach any agents at the airport, instead you contact a 1800 number which of course is no help."
