I had purchased a 1st Class ticket for $400+, only to find that my comfort would be the equivalent of that if I purchased a ticket in economy. My long legs would still be cramped. For the past few years, I have been purchasing 1st class for it's spaciousness. On this flight, on the RCJ700, I did not fly comfortably. The space was very tight, and I was able to stretch my legs as if I sat in economy. This was by far, my most uncomfortable flight ever. SMH; A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!"

I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

My problem with that is I don't fly often and I had to cancel that due to my job. I feel that if I cancel a flight way in advance before the flight is being departed I should be able to get my refund back I'm sorry to say it is but I would never use this airline company again because if I knew that the first time. I wouldn't have done it. Oh I also found out because I keep getting updates from kayak of the flight that the flight was supposed to been I believe was 8:30 p.m. but due to rain it didn't leave Philadelphia Pennsylvania until around 11:45 p.m. so I'm kind of glad now I didn't go because my family member who I was going to visit would have been very upset because they had to stay up an extra 4 hours and they had to go to work the next morning."

Cons: "We arrived at 9:30am for our 11:55 flight, and promptly spent the next hour and a half JUST in a massive line to drop off our bag, even though we'd already checked in online. Then, after we finally got to our gate, we saw that all the other flights for Frontier were starting to get delayed or canceled, so of course we got worried about ours, but despite frequent checks with the gate agent, we were told no no no, don't worry, our flight was still going forward. It got delayed, then delayed again. Finally, it got delayed to 6:18pm, but we were told a crew was flying in from Chicago, so not to worry, we would DEFINITELY be on the plane and out of there by 6:45 at the LATEST. 6:45 comes, 6:45 goes, and no crew. The pilot has been sitting outside the gate this whole time, and we see him go up and shake his head at the gate agent. They announce: the pilot has timed out, he can't fly us anymore, even if we DO get a flight crew. But they don't cancel it! Oh no, not yet. They still have two more hours to make us miserable, why would they cancel the flight? So we sit there as they tell us they might be able to get another pilot from another flight don't worry they're going to try. Meanwhile, we can't self-cancel our flight and get a refund because they've already loaded our bags onto the empty plane without a crew, and they won't get individual bags back, so those of us with a checked bag are trapped at the airport until this awful airline finally decides to let us go. Finally, at EIGHT PM, they do announce that our flight has been officially canceled, and what are we offered in compensation? A refund, or a ticket on a (fully booked!) flight on their airline two days later. No hotel vouchers, no tickets on any other airlines. Just a refund of a ticket you bought months ago so that you can buy an astronomically expensive ticket at the last minute on another airline, or a rebooked ticket on an overbooked plane in two days that will probably be canceled, too. We took the refund, rented a car with the money, and drove overnight to get home instead. Anything was better than being anywhere near Frontier Airlines for another minute. Avoid this toxic waste dump of an airline."

This was arranged by the ticket counter. Apparently, Frontier screwed up and did not arrange for a wheelchair to meet us at the gate in Charlotte. When we mentioned this to the lead flight attendant, he said we would need to go and find one ourselves. I asked if he could call the gate and asked them to bring one so I wouldn't have to leave my elderly mother, he said, "no". I asked again and explained that I didn't want to leave my mother. This time he rolled his eyes at me and said, it wasn't his problem. Really? This is precisely the reason I will not take Frontier again. Please look into training your people better or your hiring process. Cheap flight do not address this issue."

Seeing as I have no children it would be great to have them slightly entertained if only for a little peace. I could care less about food/beverage options which of course were extra which I quickly realized was the name of your game. My reasonably priced $200 plane ticket became a $340 plane ticket once I realized there are no options but to either pay for my luggage or vacation naked. Also I was charged one price on my departing flight and a different price on my return flight for my luggage. When I asked why I was told the prices changed that very week. How convenient for your airline and nobody else."

Crew did not make curtsy announcement asking parents of children to silence electronic devices so there was lots of kid music, beeping, and general noise that even my earbuds couldn't cancel out."

Pros: "Our flights left on time and arrived either on schedule or early. Our luggage got there with us both times. Boarding was simple and quick. Good Job!"
Cons: "Our departure date was screwed up. I don't know how. Anyway, to change it to the correct date (even more than a week in advance) they socked us with a $500 change fee. And dealing with their customer service was a nightmare. I will think long and hard before EVER flying Spirit or using Kayak again!"
Pros: "The plane was really clean and the attendants both on the ground and in the air were both efficient and courteous. I had read a bad report and was worried but m happy to say my flight and check in went wonderful as well as the baggage handling....good job spirit!!"

Cons: "Agendas were extremely rude and disrespectful. I had a family issue causing me to drive to my destination, and kept my flight so I could fly home. When I went to check in online, there was no itinerary to be found. I called, and they said since I was a "no show", it was cancelled and I could not be reimbursed. I offered to use it as credit and get a new flight, paying the difference. This request was declined. The agents on the phone were very rude. Spirit nickel and dimes you, has no available seats, doesn't feed you, and the planes are small. I will never attempt to take this airline again."

Cons: "One of the flight attendants kept walking up and down the isle while eating and drinking her own food. A few passengers commented on her behavior and how inappropriate it was - especially for an airline that nickel and dimes its passengers so much. The comments increased when we had to stop in PA for a weather-related refuel and the passengers were given one cookie each, while she flaunted her apple and peanut butter and drinks. No food, no entertainment, as expected for Spirit. Makes more sense and is more pleasant to fly with any other airline. Spirit's website and phone customer service are incredibly difficult due to poor design, training, and restrictions. The online check-in and other services are glitchy and horrible to use and navigate. There's no search option, either. It feels like a scam to make you make an account to get your boarding pass. (Staff at the airport are much more adept and accommodating and friendly.) Very frustrating. I learned years ago not to fly with Spirit and am disappointed that I had to learn that lesson the hard way twice."

Cons: "The rows of seats are incredibly small, to the point the man in front of me leaped out of his seat and accused me of jamming my knees into his back. I was just sitting there and I think he was stretching back into my long legs. Really, there was nothing I could do because there was no room to move my legs out of his way. And the airline DIDNT EVEN OFFER WATER! And let's not forget that we weren't told ahead of time they charge for carry-on bags, so our affordable tickets went up $110 in cost. I will never fly Spirit again."
Cons: "2hrs late departing because of air traffic? I don't believe them. I saw a repair van on the tarmac. Seats are packed in VERY close and they don't recline. There's so little padding in the seat that you can feel the metal frame, so you're very uncomfortable. They sell everything they serve including water. There are no monitors so tv or movies are not even an option. Flight crew doesn't say good-bye, thank you or anything as you exit craft. I'm not sure what the attendants do other than offer to sell you water and tell you what you can and cannot do on their plane. They try to shame you into paying for your carry on and paying to book a seat, calling the seat they assign you "random" like they'll put you in the bathroom or out on the wing. When you get to the airport, you find the approved size for your included personal item is the size of your carry on. They don't check to see who paid for their carry on so only suckers paid. We will never ever fly Spirit!"

Cons: "I didn't know the drinks, snacks, and luggage cost extra until after I booked. But after learning that was kind of spirits "thing" it wasn't so bad. I would definitely fly spirit again on a shorter trip where minimal luggage is needed."

Cons: "Flight landed 30 minutes late and then we were delayed another hour with no explanation after being told it'd be only 10 minutes after the last person got off the plane. Unfriendly not even dating to border on polite."
