This is one of the poorer first class seats in the industry. The "lie flat" seat is just that, a lie. It is pitched at an angle, though not as steep as some. Foot cubby is narrow and constrictive, bordering on claustrophobic."

Delta's communications with us and with Westjet were deplorable."

Cons: "No one met me at the gate in Toronto. All the passenger for IAD were hearted down a hall to a lounge. One that we could not enter. We were all told to stand against a wall. A fellow passenger noticed me struggling with my bag and offered to help. After a long delay which wasn’t explained, someone came with a wheel chair to take me to my flight."

I walk over the the lady's at the stand and ask if I'm at the right gate and this is when I'm told that my flight had been CANCELLED and no one thought to inform me. One of the ladies goes "You should have received an email" but I know that I'm not the only who was unaware of the flight cancellation as I found out later that 3 other people had been going through the same thing. On top of the terrible communication, once I finally got booked on the next flight out, I was sat beside the most obnoxiously loud & irritating person I have ever met. He was swearing and raising his voice the whole flight and the flight attendants completely ignored it. There was a small girl in front of me with her father and he tried to confront this man and tell him to lower his voice & still, the crew payed no mind. Also, I am an 18 year old girl flying by myself for the first time... This man kept poking me in the arm and leg trying to get my attention and was trying to get all this personal information out of me. This is harassment and if I had flown with a bigger airline, this dude would have been off the plane before it even took off. I was petrified the whole flight as he kept telling people that if the plane didn't take off in 30 seconds, it was going to CRASH. I had one of the worst anxiety attacks of my life & the whole situation was ignored by the crew. I WILL NEVER FLY WITH PORTER AGAIN."

Now I have a voucher I'm not gonna use in the specified time frame nor gan I give it to someone who frequents the airline."

The flight got cancelled, no email sent to me even though service counter people kept saying that they did. I am at the airport in a long line with only one counter open and the rep not even bothering to help me. I am a 60 year old from another country and have knee problems. Thankfully someone took mercy on me and helped me out to catch another flight so I could leave. Its unfortunate that flight cancellations happen in such a way without making sure the passengers are all contacted and alternatives made for them. it is also unfortunate the airport only does porter airlines and there are no other flights that can be made available when flights get cancelled"

This meant that I was stranded in Billy Bishop airport, which is a very small airport without much to do, while waiting for updates. Updates typically consisted of, "We should be able to board in about 10-15 minutes once the plane cools down." and then we would wait another hour for an update. We were offered a $50 food voucher for the small cafe 5 minutes before the cafe closed up shop. We were also offered a $50 voucher on Porter Airlines, which is an airline I have never flown before and don't intend to fly again."

Cons: "REALLY don't like the fact that international passengers who aren't US or Canadian passport holders can't web check in and reserve seats online. Couldn't you at least allow us to reserve a seat, if not actually web check in in advance? That way we wouldn't get relegated to crappy, leftover seats after everyone else has had a go at them! Finding power plug outlets for laptops in your Toronto lounge is a challenge. Elderly people have to bend down, peer under chairs, if they're lucky to see an outlet. Please consider designing accessible outlets that don't require strenuous bending, and a larger number of them. Disappointed that you don't as yet have European and Southeast Asian airline frequent flier network tie-ups. Qantas is good, but limited."

Cons: "Unfortunately, through no fault of the flight crew or gate crew, we got one of the few remaining planes in the fleet that are so old that they can't fit a full carry-on bag in the overhead bins or under the seats. Larger carry-on items had to be checked through to final destination, which made a lot of passengers upset -- either because they were business people who needed to be able to work on the flight, or they had important baby gear in there that they would need before that, or they were traveling far away using multiple airlines and were rightly worried about lost luggage."

He got more leg room for free. I was cramped and could not sleep because of muscle spasm. The Legal age made it more comfortable but it is not worth 100$"

Very inconvininet night over at the airport. On top of that broke my luggage while loading and unloading. Atleast expected an accomdation/food arranegment or faster checkin the next day.. The United airlined staff at the gate were unsympathatic and in a hurry. Will never book with them again. Wasted 24h, arrived late, broken luggage, and tiring and inconvinient stay at the airport were the highlights of the trip!"

Pros: "Flight wasn't full so Gate Agent reconfigured seating so solo flyers did not have to share row. When air traffic issues delayed flight, crew let us move around and they served water. Full video options for such a short flight and small plane was nice."
Pros: "Everything was handled very efficiently, and although it was a commuter jet it was more comfortable than those I've flown on domestically."
Cons: "When we checked in we were told everything was on time. When we should have been boarding, we were told there was no pilot. That took just over an hour to rectify. When we finally landed at Lauderdale, we were told there was no gate - surely they would have known this when we took off from Ottawa!? We sat waiting for at least 45 minutes before having access to the gate. Beyond frustrating when we were already late and inconvienced!"

Pros: "Boarded the aircraft on a very cold January day. The cabin was not heated at all until the engines were started 25 minutes after boarding. Small kids were crying as they were so cold. Easily the most uncomfortable boarding ever. Where’s the heat!!! Money that tight!!!"

Cons: "Starting at Brussels airport I was questioned as if I was a threat. The lady wore an UA uniform. She asked me questions like these: where do you live when you come to Belgium? What do you do when you are in Belgium? Why do you come to belgium often? Then we were 2 blacks in the last line and we were all selected for "random" check during which the agent touched all parts of my body!!!!! Last, after I ate the food served on board, I went to the bathroom twice, I took I modicum before!!!!"
Cons: "Awful experience, we left it were it was supposed to, and they left it behind!! The staff at the airport gate wasn't helpful at all, they offer no emotional support but asked us to "make a complaint in baggage reclaim". There, the staff was a little more helpful and gave us a new stroller (very small, not close to ours, but we used it anyway). I had to call many times until I reach a spanish speaker that showed concern for our problem and finally found our stroller and sent it to our hotel."

Cons: "This flight was cancelled, so I can't say how the flight was. However, I can say that in my 20 years of travel, this was by far the worst, most stressful experience I have ever had. I was placed on 2 other flights with 2 other airlines and wasn't notified until AFTER I was already checking in with another airline (this is also after calling the airlines regarding the cancellation, several hours before heading to the airport). Worst experience. Do not recommend."

Cons: "Flight was delayed due to air traffic control issues so I only had 40 min layover to get to my next gate. Also when we arrived we were on the ground for a long time before we could pull up to gate to unload. I have a 3 yr old & 5 yr old & had to run to make it. We made it but luggage didn't. My first luggage was delivered quickly, the 2nd luggage arrived 3 days after we arrived home."
Pros: "Seating is so close you can count the hairs on the passenger in front of you. Tray is too close to you and uncomfortable to even eat or drink anything. Overseas and international seating needs to be larger than short domestic flights."

Gate crew did very little to assist me in securing an alternate flight. On board crew did little to assist me in finding out information and getting me off the plane quickly to get to my connecting flight. Overall they showed little empathy and customer service."

Cons: "We had to walk almost halfway to Newark just to get to the flight. It was outside on the Tarmac at the very very very end of the terminal, I've never seen anything like it before. We also left a travel folder in the seat back pocket containing important documents and a sealed envelope of 1000$ USD. We immediately called to retrieve it and at first were told to file a complaint online, no matter how many times we tried to tell them that time was of the essence in this situation. We also begged the united airlines personnel to speak with a manager and he wouldn't put one on the phone. In the end all they could tell us is that the folder "wasn't there""

Cons: "None of the entertainment units worked in my entire section, about 19 rows all together. I was not able to access the light or call function. These should be separated from the media units and should be functional at all times regardless of technical issues. Food choices were interesting. The barley salad was quite strange. I would take that off the menu, if possible. It was quite inedible. Flavor profile was not good."

Pros: "It was a very comfortable flight with a window seat which I prefer. Service was extremely good from checkin to boarding to the onboard crew who looked after us well the whole flight. I actually thought all the food options were very tasty and portions acceptable. We even got in half an hour earlier which was a bonus."
Cons: "The trip to Dublin two weeks or so before was not as comfortable as I was assigned a seat in the very last row on the aisle which meant that even if I was able to fall asleep, I would have been jostled repeatedly by people using the lavatories in the back of the plane. Also those seats do not fully recline and if they are going to charge more for other seats in the plane, then they should be charging less for those seats which offer less space and on the aisles, unintended bumping by fellow passengers walking through tight aisles."

My wife and I somehow to our connecting flight by running all the way and requesting people to let us go ahead of them. However, United did not send our bags fast enought and deliverd them to our place the next day. This created a lot of inconvinience as I was scheduled to go for a business related conference in Chicago. United - you suck! Hate your service for the core. I hope I never have to fly United again."

Pros: "I've only used United a handful of times between London and New York. They've been okay. The worst flight was on an older plane that felt like it'd been built in 1975, and the entertainment was rubbish. The staff however are always pleasant and accommodating. Their service was just as good on my heavily delayed return flight, and managed to handle the tired, short fused customers with aplomb. Hats off to them."
Cons: "My return flight from EWR to LHR was delayed by 4.5hours. Initially it was a 20minute delay; then we boarded the plane, only to sit still for an hour due to technical difficulties. Then we were delayed by another 30 minutes. Then we were asked to leave the plane as a replacement jet was required. It was meant to take 15 minutes, when it actually took at least 1.5 hours. It was a 6.10pm flight, and we boarded the new plane at 9.30pm. We eventually jetted off at 10.30pm. I'de received 10 text messages stating each each rescheduled/delayed departure time. Sadly, it's the worst flight I've ever had. I ended up 3.5 hours late for work, missed an important business meeting. Shame."
