Pros: "Pasco is just the best little airport! Very clean sand FASSSST security"
Pros: "My two-year-old and I were assigned seats in different rows. She weighs under 25 pounds I didn’t want to have to buy a ticket for her in the first place. Obviously I couldn’t have her sit in row behind me. She had to sit on my lap anyway so I paid for an extra seat I couldn’t use. Ridiculous"
Pros: "When we landed"
Cons: "Delays. Pricing , pay for every amenity"
Pros: "This is our main airline, but it was our first time using them to get to an airport to catch an different airline for a transatlantic flight. Time was going to be tight between connections. Because we were flying with their partner airline Icelandic air they were able to check us and our baggage through to the final destination. There were some weather delayed and I am fully convinced we would have missed our connecting flight."
Pros: "Alaska Airlines has a great fruit and cheese plate for $7.50. GOGO app gives a good selection of movies, tv shows and HGTV!"
Cons: "Attendant was much more pleasant to the two men around me. Such a full flight, we were told to sit down until the food cart was done to access the lavatory. Too narrow of an aisle!"
Pros: "Crew was wicked nice and helpful."
Cons: "The boarding and deboarding process was a struggle. They was lots of unnecessary waiting involved."
Pros: "Nice big aircraft for a comfortable flight."
Cons: "No complaints!"
Pros: "Cabin crew was very efficient and helpful. One attendant was able to help me get entertainment app to work by advising me to turn off privacy settings on my phone. Good flight. They had a wheelchair ready for me on landing, not because I requested one but because they noted I had used one to change planes. Really nice"
Cons: "Couldnt get seat to recline."
Cons: "The seats are somewhat comfortable. They don’t have TV screens at each seat, but they do provide them for $10 or you can stream free TV or movies for free thru the Gogo app. Not bad, but would have rather had a screen"
Cons: "Late departure (and arrival) Apparent equipment issue."
Pros: "On time--early even. Planes seemed newer and cleaner than other airlines we usually fly. Friendly attendants. Very fast baggage claim. Despite it being more of a pain to get in and out ofBoston (vs. Manchester), we would fly them again."
Cons: "Boarding seems to take longer than other airlines."
Pros: "flight was delayed and crew kept us informed at all times with clear explanations"
Cons: "didn't know about wi-fi entertainment until i was on the flight, and then i couldn't get the app."
Cons: "Everything was excellent"
Cons: "Food to pricey"
Pros: "Left on time arrived early. No drama!"
Pros: "I missed my flight, but staff in Seattle helped me get on the next one with minimal fuss. Not sure if this is always the case, but very pleased with a situation that could have been very stressful."
Pros: "From booking to the actual flight everyone made the process easy."
Pros: "Fairly pleasant other than things listed below."
Cons: "Seats couldn't recline and had little leg room, no complimentary entertainment, no complimentary food."
Cons: "3 hour delay. No internet on flight working. Little to no food available."
Pros: "Fast, smooth flight."
Cons: "One hour delay for flight from Pasco to Seattle, but things worked out fine."
Pros: "The crew were friendly and seemed happy."
Cons: "The seats didn't recline. We were moved to an over-wing exit, and the seats don't lay back there. In fact, it looked as though none of the seats in Economy could be reclined. This was an awful discovery on an over-night flight. The plane was a Boeing 737-900, which seemed like a new, clean and quiet piece of equipment, but Economy had Recaro seats that were fixed in the upright position. I'll try to avoid this in the future."
Pros: "Seats could have a little more padding"
Cons: "Alaska canceled my flight without notifying or contacting me . I spent over 1000 dollars on flight. Once I rebooked they were rude and would not honor the first class seat I purchased. I kept my moth shut to avoid being yet another victim to the brutality of the way airlines and tsa have been treating travelers."
Pros: "All flights were on time"
Cons: "Seat assignments differed from what i had requested. Boarding process was very slow. Seats in planes were very cramped. No entertainment. No snacks other than basic beverage offering. Felt like a cattle car."
Pros: "From the check-in to in-flight everyone I met from Alaska Air was friendly, competent and responsive. I was especially grateful that so many people from the airline care about recycling and preserving the environment. That is so rare in airports."
Cons: "Entertainment? I was happy to listen to podcasts on my phone and read. I was not particularly interested in paying $10 so I could watch tv or movies. Not a complaint, but also don't ask about my rating for entertainment when you don't really provide it."
Pros: "On time boarding, on time departure, frequent updates by captain during flight."
Cons: "No "back of seat" TV's. You were given the option to rent a tablrt for the flight but even when doing that, they reclaim it 30-45 minutes before the end of the flight. On a cross-country, non-stop long flight it would be nice to have the TV's at all seats. Also, with the rented tablet, I was unable to track where we were or follow our progress (as we can with the in-seat TV's). Lastly, on a long-flight, they should have been better stocked. During their second trip to offer food for purchase they were sold out of many items - very limited options at that point."
Pros: "Smooth trip."
Cons: "No beverage service because of turbulence, but there didn't seem to be much turbulence."
Pros: "Got home"
Cons: "Turned around 20" in flight, and board a new plane. Therefore arrived 2 and 1/2 hrs later than scheduled. As recompense they give a $100 discount on next flight, which will probably never be used as they have so few flights from Boston. Practically not a useful thing for me."
Pros: "Nothing. Our trip was changed without notice."
Cons: "We originally booked our flight back from Maui because it had a 13 hour layover And we were visiting our friends in Seattle for the day for their housewarming party. Well much to our surprise we get to the airport in Maui to leave and by sure luck because we had to get there early for our rentL car return , realized our flight was boarding in 30 minutes. It got bumped up by 4 hours with absolutely no notification. Also our nice long layover that we had purposely planned was now only 4 hours. So not only did we almost miss our first flight but we had to miss our friends party. We were never notified. I checked my spam mail, junk mail, and regular Mail. Alaska airlines did nothing for us as far as compensation for our aggravation. We usually love using kayak but if this is what will be happening from now on we will be taking our business elsewhere."
Pros: "Excellent flight crew"
Pros: "Everyone was very kind and courteous to me. I felt very comfortable and respected."
Cons: "My checked bags were not handled very well. I had some broken items when I reopened them at my destination."
Pros: "No surprises except one non-flight related detail. On my way to Seattle, they lost my bag. They took down the details and told me that they would pay for any necessary items. The bag was delivered the next day. On my return flight, I stopped by the baggage desk with the receipts. I figured that they would mail me the check. Instead, they cut me a check right there and then."
Cons: "Nothing really. Usual boarding procedure, usual on plane routine, usual on time landing."
Pros: "Customer service was outstanding, plane was comfortable, on time...."
Pros: "Everyone was very friendly & professional from boarding to in flight. I had ordered a cheese plate & while my transaction completed-someone further down sold the last one. The lovely flight attendant (didn't get her name-brunette on the 5/9 8:35a from San Diego) refunded me on the spot & offered a tapas instead complimentary. Great customer service!"
Cons: "Seats weren't the most comfortable & in flight movies only available on your personal device or a rented tablet (for $10 I believe)."
"The terminal on my ticket was different than the gate number. We went through security and had to take a 15 min shuttle to a different terminal. Why not just go through security there? There were also no attendants at the gate to discuss seat assignments. My husband and I didn’t have seats together. Try on board crew was great, but the airport experience was lacking."
Pros: "The seats were very good. The crew was helpful and friendly."
Cons: "We had a connection in Detroit. The flight from Seattle to Detroit arrived about 30 minutes late, and we barely made the connection. Apparently Delta had not told the Detroit-Boston flight to wait a few minutes for us. We did make the connection, but we arrived at the gate with no seat assignment (we had been bumped the day before from our original flight because of a mechanical problem) as the plane was loading. Had we missed the flight, we would have had to spend the night in Detroit and go to Boston the next day. Delta should have told the gate agent that we were coming."
Pros: "The crew was very professional and polite, my flight attended (blond lady) was very pleasant and very professional. She should be promoter to teach others how to be professional without kiss passenger's a*s."
Cons: "Could be better if the check in line employee were be able to sell one way ticket to Boston at 13:20hr , instead I had to purchased round trip just to get at my destination at planned time. Also I had to pay 30 dollars to go get the next flight at 18:59hrs , which was extremely inconvenient."
Pros: "Amazing crew!"
Pros: "Smooth flight. Crew friendly."
Cons: "More leg room"
Pros: "Friendly crew"
Pros: "Pretty straight forward. Clean. Efficient."
Pros: "Middle seat was empty"
Cons: "This flight was probably great but I was not on it"
Cons: "Significant delay of departure."
Cons: "Made us check our carry ons and there was plenty of space in the cabin overhead comoartments"
Pros: "The food and drinks were so lovely, it felt like I was in first class rather than the cheapest economy seat. Great entertainment selection and comfortable seat that let me sleep well."
Cons: "Proper communication"
Cons: "Delayed and did not explain why"
Cons: "It was ridiculously cold for 2 1/2 hours. When my seat mate asked for a blanket, the stewardess said she only had one more - then walked off. For drinks, they skipped several people. I had to catch her eye to ask for one and then ask her to get my kids a drink in front of me."
Cons: "Flight attendant in First class was visibly frustrated and unfriendly. He was not helping with my simple request for a blanket. Also, the were no food service in first class."
Pros: "I like the entertainment on Delta."
Pros: "The crew was super friendly and professional. Enjoyed the reworked safety message before take-off."
Cons: "The Comfort+ seat, while it had plenty of leg room in front, had a small width-box that many Americans (being larger than perhaps they should be) will find extremely uncomfortable at best, and unable to fit in at worst."
Cons: "I’m still in Los Angeles 10 hours after landing, having missed the connecting flight."
Cons: "Wifi didn't work"
Pros: "Seats are fine. Ordering system is up to date."
Cons: "After the first two hours of my flight (which I sleep through) I couldn’t buy a drink a soda or anything."
Pros: "individual TVs"
Cons: "it would be great if you could not use all those one-use plastic cups. waste is a real issue in the US and the solution is using re-usable items like washable cups. Unboarding was a nightmare and it started to get really hot waiting to get off."
Cons: "The fact the the toilette was kitty cornered in the mid cabin bathroom is a joke on modern society."
Cons: "The flight attendants skipped many rows of people not offering food or beverage. I wasnt sleep so not sure why I wasnt asked did I want a beverage or snack"
Cons: "Flight was 1,5 hr delayed, which almost caused me to miss my connecting flight"
Cons: "WiFi didn't work"
Pros: "Good seating, great food, good service."
Cons: "My kids were asleep when the flight attendant passed the snacks . I asked to get the snack for them and she told me they will have to get it in the back of plane once awake. Didn’t argue but was surprised"
Pros: "Everyone was great!"
Pros: "This was my daughter’s first solo travel home from college. She said the staff was helpful and kind. She loved that the flight was not over crowded. It was a smooth flight."
Cons: "Only negative thing she could say was her flight was delayed an hour. But that isn’t terrible considering all the holiday travelers."
Cons: "They upgraded only my husband and split him up with the rest of our family. We were delayed and once we landed we got stuck in an active taxi way just because of poor arrangements from airport staff"
Cons: "We thought we were flying AirFrance as our emails came from them and were surprised to learn after waiting in the AirFrance baggage drop queue for 30 mins that we were in the wrong place."
Pros: "Delta employees exceedingly cordial. food poor to moderate, seating space impossibly small but pillow and blanket were provided"
Cons: "seats too close from front to back, and not adequately cushioned"
Pros: "Crew was very kind"
Cons: "Delta delayed us SEVEN times and I type this as we are rounding our 30th minute waiting to get off the plane at Logan."
Cons: "I was flying from CDG to LGD and my bag was lost, yet the baggage claim system showed it arrived...... Thankful I packed some essentials in my carry on. The bigger issue will be dealing with my medical insurance company to get medications replaced that were in the checked bag."
Pros: "Flight itself uneventful"
Pros: "really nice cervices"
Pros: "Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears."
Pros: "About 10-15 yrs ago I stopped transatlantic flights on Delta. It was a scruffy airline with uninterested cabin crew & not to talk of food etc. What a change! Neat clean A330, friendly crew & food + beverages to brag (you pay outrageous prices on 'leaner-meaner' airlines if at all available). Loved the whole experience. Flying is not only getting from A to B & Delta has realized it. Looking forward to my next Delta flight!"
Cons: "When plane landed early and waiting on another plane to move so we could get off plane over yhirty minutes waiting"
Pros: "In-flight entertainment and communication."
Cons: "The online reservation had me pick seats for my family, those seats were emailed to me, then when I checked in and got our boarding passes, the seats had changed! Wouldn't have been a big deal, but I had already memorized our seats, so I looked like a moron when I insisted seats that were not ours anymore were ours!"
Pros: "Courteous crew and smooth flight"
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "Security line, waiting an hour to take off, no time for drink service. Awful flight"
Pros: "Food available was good."
Cons: "Very tight space- could not reach floor when person in front of me moved seat into recline position. Could not get out of seat to go to bathroom when my seat mates were sleeping. Tough to load- tight spaces."
Pros: "The crew was really friendly and helpful. The plane was really clean"
Cons: "The boarding process was too long, there was a lot of people. It was kinda a mess. The sit assignment for people who didn't have sit assign was slow."
Cons: "The plane was delayed by more than 3 hours due to "weather problems" earlier in the day. Delta did not permit re-booking to flights that left JFK for Boston earlier, even tho there seats available, instead insisting that we had to wait for our assigned flight. Small snacks (regular Coke, no Diet) did not really compensate well."
Pros: "We flew a plane that had 2 row seats. I booked that for my daughter and me as well as seats ahead of an exit so we would have no one behind as. Great seats and they reclined quitea bit. We were very pleased."
"The flight actually was fine. Just a lot of delays."
"No food. Got a window seat and of course 21a had no window just a perfect panel of plastic"
"United jerked us around. We had Business Class seats but were refused entry to the United Lounge because we were leaving for Boston from the International terminal where our flight landed. Really!?"
Pros: "very professional and helpful crew, very clean cabin, on time, smooth flight"
Cons: "it was perfect"
Pros: "It was a fuller flight, but the airline staff did a great job either making sure there was compartment space or checking people's bags for free. Even with the fuller flight, the boarding process went by really quickly."
Cons: "Would have preferred to switch the pretzels out for maybe some salty crackers or chips"
Cons: "I was charge $24.00 for internet and it was too slow. No meals to purchase"
Cons: "As my mom explained to me, there was a time in the 1960's when flying was a special experience. The flight attendants were proud to do what they did, and treated people with kindness and civility. That is all gone now. It is an ice cold experience. I feel like cattle."
Cons: "The new plane has no usable pouch to put small items in during takeoff and landing - you have to hold everything now, as the cargo net they use barely opens. As hard as the crew hammers you to put things away, having that pouch is handy. Also, we all know we are crammed in too tight."
Pros: "Upgraded to First Class so it was great."
Cons: "No entertainment unless you download their app and use your personal device. Other airlines do this better."
Cons: "It appears united is unable to fly their planes on times, in particular on the East Coast. We were delayed by 90min on each legs"
Cons: "After we board the plane, we were forced to sit on the tarmac at LAX for 2 hours. I missed the Ferry to Provincetown and it cost me an extra night of hotel in Boston. The food choices were very limited, and the seats are just not comfortable at all!"
Pros: "I did arrive in Boston, eventually."
Cons: "The flight took off approximately 3.5 hours behind schedule and we boarded the flight and waited inside the aircraft for 2.5 hours...why did they do that? The flight attendants were offering water and trying to be as helpful as they could be.... but we're inside the plane, not going anywhere, so not much extra they can do."
Pros: "The flight departure was on time and boarding did not seem as challenging to me. Newer aircraft and very friendly crew. Is the friendly skies back?"
Cons: "Lost my baggage"
Pros: "Large aircraft half to 3/4 full, so boarding and leaving were smooth."
Cons: "Flight attendant passed me by when he was collecting food orders. I never had the chance to get food."
Pros: "Crew help and service"
Cons: "Lending was bumpy. , Internet was not Working and no entertainment chenal as well"
Pros: "That seats next to me were empty so I was able to sleep comfortably."
Cons: "That my ears don't work well, so it's hard to hear the movies."
Cons: "Flight was full to capacity"
Pros: "Flight attendants are nice. I picked one of the seats at the end so plenty leg room."
Cons: "OK, United, I understand and fully support "no more seat monitor" policy to reduce costs (even though it seems very backward); however, there's one problem--if you still want to enjoy onboard entertainments, you need to download the United application above 10,000 feet where you can never find your 4G connection. Oh wait, but there's still Wi-Fi service, right? Sure, if you are willing to pay $17 just to download application!! United, I understand how you want to make little money out of a customer's pocket, but this is not how you should do it. You should at least allow internet connection before departure or let the customer aware they need to download application beforehand."
Pros: "Comfortable seats"
Cons: "Boarding took a long time in the plane. There was confusion as they had passengers going both ways in the aisle .. this forced several ppl to stand in the aisle a long time. One of the air hostess had a major attitude. For example one passenger who was stuck in the middle of other passengers asked her politely if she could help him put the carry on in an overhead bin near her .. and she responded "I cant help you, you need to put it up yourself sir". Not something one expects. She was also terse with passengers, ordering them in an annoyed tone."
Pros: "I didnt know I could only bring one item on board that had to be checked UNDERNEATH the seat in front of me. I didnt have the "right" ticket for over head storage. I had to buy a box for $15 to put my purse in and THEN pay $35 to check my PURSE in! I couldnt check in early. I had to go to the gate to get a seat assignment and then even though my assigned seat was in the 10th row, I then had to line up in groups like Southwest and I guess my punishment for sitting in economy was to wait to board last. I felt like third class boarder on the Titanic. United has become less than a Greyhound bus. They will NEVER be my first choice again! It was HORRIFIC I will go to ANY other airlines before them. P.S. the service at the Houston counter were rude and awful except for Ms. Edwards"
Cons: "It began going downhill at the United Lounge, where I put two chairs together to get a little sleep since my flight was scheduled to leave at 12:30am. I was summarily woken up and told that it wasn't appropriate to sleep in a lounge. I complained at the front-desk (politely) and was told ... "This is a lounge". Oh and yes, the Wifi wouldn't connect and the food was stale ... so I left, and found a very nice sofa in the concourse. On the flight, service was non-existent, whoever was in the galley was clattering things about, despite the fact that this is a short red-eye flight ... the coffee was awful. The steward forgot to give me my coat and I had to ask twice AFTER we landed and were leaving the plane to get it. By contrast, Lufthansa has daybeds and a special quiet area to snooze, and offer pillows and blankets. Clearly, the Germans are louche compared to Americans."
Pros: "Flight was short."
Cons: "I was not informed about the delay until after I checked my bag, otherwise I might have chosen another flight. I was informed that though I could possibly change flights, my bag might not. I have the UA app, and did not receive timely notification. Free WIFI would have been nice as a compensation. A 4 hour delay means I miss my bus and extends my travel time significantly, one more night away from home. You did offer $50 of mt next UA flight for the next year, but I don't fly that often. Considering the reason for the delay was they were waiting for a plane was frustrating."
Pros: "Very meticulous pilots, very friendly and accommodating cabin crew"
Cons: "When we made reservations in February we opted for economy plus seating 8C and 8D on an Airbus A320. In June we received notice of a schedule and equipment change to a Boeing 737-300. I was not told or given the option to change seat assignments, and we were assigned middle and window seats 28E and 28F, which were torture, so narrow and almost no legroom. Why weren't we automatically assigned economy plus seats? Adding insult to injury I had to apply for a refund for the seat upgrade, which again should have been automatic. Seeing as how the return flight was code-shared with AirCanada, United did not give us the option to upgrade seating, so I was forced to call United, waited almost 40 minutes so that they could give me the AirCanada booking reference number which then enabled me to upgrade seats via AirCanada's website. Lucky thing too because there weren't many economy plus seats left. I consider myself to be a savvy traveler, but there were too many unknowns and hoops to jump through in order to get proper seating. Plus the extra fees for premier access and baggage are exorbitant. Finally, I bought an egg white flatbread snack which was awful. I don't see how United gets away with this treatment, it certainly doesn't make for an enjoyable experience when vacationing. In fact we are seriously considering not taking any more vacations requiring flying. We're happy that airlines are profitable, but not at the expense of comfort or navigating options that require very sophisticated knowledge."
Pros: "I got home safe."
Cons: "The customer service was mediocre. The selection of complementary beverage was minimal compared to other airlines. The staff are disgruntled and sometimes rude. There was always some sort of mechanical problems with the plane going to Puerto Plata and coming back. On the way to DR we had to divert to Miami because of problems with Navigation. They made us wait seven hours and gave us a voucher for food at the last minute. People had already bought food. I would not recommend United to none of my associates."
Pros: "goos seat"
Cons: "There was no food what so ever while business got full dinner and the entertainment was very poor"
Cons: "Wouldn't let me bring my bag even though there was plenty of space."
Pros: "There was nothing I liked about the flight"
Cons: "Layover in New Jersey was horrible. My flight was delayed 4x, and arrived at my destination 4 hours behind schedule. When I asked customer service for more information regarding my flight, the staff was rude, did not offer a resolution or give an explanation for the delay. A little customer service could have went a long way to make the situation better. I am overall not pleased with the customer service I received and was disappointed with the delay. I don't think I will ever fly united again due to the customer service."
Cons: "Flight kept being delayed. Gate agents were rude and not helpful. Acted like I was crazy for being worried I would miss connection. After flight was changed 5 times try finally changed my flight and I had to wait 5 hours at airport."
Pros: "Flight took off before scheduled departure time.l"
Cons: "Passengers were rude as they walked down the isle Several times I was hit by a person walking by me without any apologies."
Pros: "It was on time and a little early"
Cons: "I had to pay to watch any movies which I didn't and service was aloof."
Pros: "On time in spite of a late start Gate attendants were nice and helpful Comfortable as is possible in economy without spending a lot more money. Food (pretzels and drinks) as good as possible without spending more money. (I remember the good old days when you got much more in seating and food for your money)"
Cons: "This flight I had a window seat and I felt like I couldn't get up to stretch my legs or use the bathroom. (I am 70 and 4 hours is too long to sit) I usually get an isle seat but ALWAYS have to give up my bag at the gate - my bag which you tell me I can bring ON the plane with me. I do not like having to waste time claiming my bag that you told me I could have with me on the plane. I can pay $25 for that privilege!! The flight attendants always seem like they have their defenses up. One even held up the people trying to board so she could serve a drink to someone in first class. REALLY?? They couldn't wait till the plane was loaded?? I gave this flight a 'good' rating because it was mostly as good as it is going to get with economy passengers needs stripped to the bare minimum."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Too tight. $8 sends a little high for the amount of commercials one has to suffer though on the tv"
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "Flight delayed after boarding by 30 + minutes. Snack was not only meager but tasted stale. As my flight from LA was a bit late I didn't really have time to get something to take on the plane. The on board choices were expensive and not at all appealing. Beverage service was only twice. The plane was dirty I had trash in the seat pocket in front of me. The bathroom I used was awful. Trash on the floor toilet was dirty and it smelt bad. It was comparable to a train I took crossing Siberia in the 90,s. My flight to LA was delayed by 51/2 hours. I was given a voucher but after this experience not sure I will ever use it"
Cons: "-Jolene at the United check in at the Vancouver airport loves to discriminate -No WiFi on a 5+ hour flight -Old clunky planes -Poor service overall -Noticed employees using their phones constantly instead of helping paying Customers -No leg room -Package on food said snack mix but it only contained pretzels"
Cons: "Seats. Not comfortable at all for long flights."
Pros: "Comfortable seats, decent drink options"
Cons: "Boarded late. There were no seats at the gate so everyone had to just stand around waiting to board. No announcement or apology. Took 25 minutes after we landed for the first bag to come down the chute at baggage claim. My first class dining options were chips, pretzels, or a banana. Short flight but still."
Pros: "Crew was awesome, flight was half empty, and we arrived 30 minutes early. Couldn't have been better"
Cons: "Delayed then changed gates with five minutes until boarding with the new gate a half a mile away. Then once onboard we were delayed again."
Pros: "Was shocked they still offered drinks on such a short and small flight."
Pros: "Crew staff went out of his way to find something for my aisle to snack on when the person next to me asked if there was any snacks on the plane. The plane had to be changed for another plane due to a mechanical issue on the first plane, and the new plane had not been stocked with food after it's previous flight, yet the crew member was able to scrounge up some snacks for us! Also got complimentary directtv - nice, but doesn't make up for not getting home in time yet again."
Cons: "United sucks. I have flown it maybe 10-12 times in the past 2.5 years, mostly back and forth between Chicago and Boston. I have had only 3 round trip flights go without a hitch. Every other trip was delayed. This time 4 hours on my return flight to Boston due to a plane switch, boarding of a new plane to discover a mechanical issue, deboarding, waiting for a new plane, then boarding and sitting on the ground for another 40 min before we were able to take off. I was delayed 1.5 hours on the way to Chicago due to another plane swap (no joke). Still doesn't top but my worst 5 hour delay in Chicago on the way back to Boston because the captain didn't show up. United is atrocious and is my last choice or any airline. Only fly when I'm absolutely forced to now due to no other reasonable choices. They are below delta, JetBlue, American, southwest, and embarrassingly, spirit as well. Terrible."
Pros: "At least there was room to sprawl out and rest."
Cons: "We boarded our plane and during preflight check on the runway the captain learned there was mechanical error (in the right engine fuel something). The issue could not be solved and we had to change planes. On the second plane, the captain shared with travelers that "and two loose wires were found, so it's good we caught that and changed planes". What the heck? Shouldn't basic functions be checked before a plane is boarded? What was supposed to be a 1030 red eye, turned out to be a 1 AM bloodshot eye."
Pros: "Captain had apologized many times about the delay. I appreciated that. . Crew attitude towards customers were way better than my first leg.( Beijing to Chicago). I wonder why. Boarding took long time. Many people had no overhead bin for their carry on. I don't have one so I Just watched them. They serviced water and a tiny snack. One man asked if they have something to eat. He was given a bigger bag of snack, free, usually he had to pay. I guess its due to the delay. Waited a little longer for luggages. But I was happy I arrived Boston safe before midnight."
Pros: "Crew was very friendly."
Cons: "Nothing, great flight."
Pros: "One of the friendliest and most customer friendly flights I've had in a long time."
Pros: "Planes get delayed for all kinds of reasons both in and out f control of the airline. but something the airline does have control over is how it handles the sitsituatioby letting the passengers know their patience is appreciated. We sat on the runway for 2 and a half hours in summer afternoon in Washington DC because of weather in New York. Only once were we offered a small cup of tepid water. Then someone remembered the pets stuck in the cargo hold, and we went back to the gate. After deplaning, we stood at the gate for thirty minutes and weren't given vouchers for refreshments on the concourse nor bottles or at least bottles of water. Finally we were called for boarding, and then 10 minutes after that, the first passenger actually got on. After a second boarding we made it out to the runway... where we sat for another 40 minutes. Keep in mind, this particular plane has no seat outlets nor in seat entertainment systems, so most people had either dead or dying phones at this point, rendering the "complimentary in flight entertainment" available through the United app useless. Once we were finally in air, we weren't comped drinks or Internet or any other amenity offered by United. I've been stuck in situations like this on other airlines, but they worked to provide the barest glimmer of hospitality. Fly the friendly skies? Nah, we'll overcharge you for everything because our business model is unsustainable but our majority shareholders couldn't care less. A Star Alliance Member™."

Pros: "Male server was good."
Cons: "Flight time was initially pushed back (booked for 11am, schedule change to 230) and then was over 90 minutes late departing. Very little information on the delay: why, when taking off and no apology."
Pros: "The flight attendant was cheerful."
Cons: "Logistics. Please figure out how to board a plane on time and have a gate available upon arrival. Neither of these happened for this flight."
Cons: "Arrived well before the recommended 1 hour in advance for the domestic flight. Lines to move through their security wrapped around the terminal on multiple floors. Called customer service for assistance and they reported there was nothing they could do. Reminded them that it is their responsibility to manage these types of issues such as telling passenger to arrive 2 hours ahead if they have been aware of this chronic issue. They told me they had no way of contacting the airline staff at the airport to assist us Completely unprofessional, poor customer care and inefficient. Will not be flying with United out of Newark NJ again. If it weren't for the friendly passenger in line who let us move ahead we would have missed the flight. Just made it before the gate to the aircraft closed."
Pros: "Boarding was done quickly and the crew members were great."
Cons: "I hate the fact that I had to pay for data just to see the map of where the plane is during my travel. Other airlines will at least give you a map to view as well as one or two free movies/show. They don't make you feel like your being forced to purchase data just to have a pleasant ride. I also hate the fact that I checked in my bag well before my flight (even had time to grab something to eat before boarding) and when I landed the airline informed me that my bag didn't make it on my flight. Like how does that even happen? Then tell me it's on a different flight, that landed 4 hours later. Well, my bag wasn't on that flight either but on a different flight that landed a few minutes later."
