I apparently bought my plane ticket for a month before I needed it. They sent me a confirmation immediately, but I didn’t catch the mistake. They did not send me any upcoming flight reminders or check-in info, so I didn’t realize until after the paid-for flight had passed that I had made a mistake. At that point the ticket was “100% non-refundable” and they refused to help me in any way.

Delayed flights leading to incredibly tight connection times, staff inconsistent with messaging re the source of the delay, zero compassion for customers, offering $700-$1,400 to get off the plane when you charge $200 to change a flight 2 weeks in advance is especially galling! Will not fly with United again whenever there is a viable alternative to my destination.

Flight attendants were nice

First time (and hopefully last) flying Alaskan. Boarding was ok, not the most efficient but it worked. Once aboard a predicted snow storm started (in Seattle so not the first time this has happened) and we had to de-ice. This process was exceptionally long, in fact so long that we had to add fuel for the trip. These two delays conveniently “timed out” the pilots, brilliant! Total delay was over 4 hours, all to be blamed on their ineptitude. Seems like the norm for airlines these days but this was blatant mismanagement.

We didnt fly spirit from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles because our non-stop saturday return flight was cancelled, even though the plane that would have taken us home had already arrived at the airport. We were flexible to reschedule to fly out on sunday, but again that non-stop flight got cancelled. Even though, again, the plane we would have boarded was already at the airport. Then, after being cancelled twice, you were unwilling to schedule us on a flight, whether on spirit or another airline, to get us back by sunday night. Then we chose to get a refund on the flight because it was the only real option we had from your not so apologetic offers that didnt really compensate for the inconvenience. You returned us the cost of the one way flight back, on a ticket we purchased months in advance at a lower price than what was comparable to the return flight we had to purchase that same day. I understand "unforseen" conditions can change things, but it would be nice for a company to compensate its passangers fairly for not being able to follow through on a commitment.

i booked the flight with flight network com - and unfortunately due to being ill, missed my departing flight. I call both flight network and spirit to relate I wanted to re-schedule, but wanted to keep my departure date. Both companies stated that because I missed my flight, I was not even able to use my return flight, which I had paid for. It is terrible that I could not even use my return flight. Regardless of missing my departure flight, I should not be punished in not being able to use my return flight! Ridiculous policy!

There was an issue charging my card when I selected my seat, but their systems were remarkably efficient in alerting me to the issue and providing the customer service agent the necessary info to help complete the charge within just a few minutes. Having spent *many* hours on the phone with other airlines trying to correct quirky problems, this was very much appreciated.

Having to pay to obtain a boarding pass at the airport is just ridiculous. I know that this is in line with their business model but for chrissake, just instal the little machines. It's one thing to have to buy a seat after buying a ticket, but to have to buy a slip of paper that gets you onto the plane and into the seat is absurd.

We booked american because it was a direct flight. No explanation was given for the switch. Then we almost missed our connection because we sat on the tarmak in Barcelona for an hour. Again no explanation . Very stressful and irritating.

Add ons was unexpected. Seats were cramped. Crew not very nice. Wife was freezing the whole flight back because of a broken ac vent. Passenger behind me had his knee on my back the whole flight. Told flight attendant about issues but did nothing. Thought that spirit being a new airline would have better service.

We had a specific situation on our flight tonight that was especially disruptive. Shortly after take-off, my fiancé who was traveling with me, felt the teenager (most likely a minor) directly behind him pushing his seat. My fiancé turned around to ask her to stop. Rather than apologizing and stopping, the teenager immediately began complaining about how my fiancé was encroaching on her space. My fiancé replied that it was well within his rights to lean his seat back. The teenager responded with further complaints. Her comments were out of line and rude. It was clear that she was not satisfied with my fiancé having his seat leaning back. My fiancé eventually put his seat back, and the teenager stopped complaining. We believed that the situation had been resolved, but apparently the teenager was not satisfied. Instead, she went to a flight attendant and lodged a complaint against my fiancé. Rather than hear our side, the flight attendant immediately asked us to move to a different seat. We were forced to move, against our will, to two separate middle seats further forward in the plane. We no longer were able to sit next to each other for the remaining five hours of the flight. And this was all because one particular teenager did not want my fiancé to put his seat back, which he is certainly allowed to do. Overall, the situation was handled poorly. We paid to sit together on a flight, but due to one other passenger's attitude, we were forced to sit in seats that we did not choose apart from one another. The flight attendant should have at least heard our side of the story and offered us an alternative. Instead, we were forced to accommodate another passenger who was in the wrong. Not to mention, throughout this entire process - which lasted about 30 minutes - I was not able to use the GoGo Inflight Internet Package I had just paid for. That was money wasted. The experience was embarrassing, disruptive, and awkward. We love Alaska Airlines, and we are usually pleased with their customer service. However, tonight, the customer service we received did not meet our needs; instead the flight attendant exacerbated the situation and we left our flight feeling frazzled, angry and disappointed.

Getting to where I needed to go

Stopping the plane to fuel at another airport understandable. But then you ran out of food for purchase on the first flight (I was sitting in the back). Then connecting at LAX was horrible. Everyone had connecting flights. Off the plane onto a bus. then through customs then shuffled outside with no guidance from employees. Finally I found someone to ask bc 15-20 people were around me in the same boat. Where the f do we go we wondered. The employee was insanely rude. I’m attentive and I listen. he was saying pay attention I told you go right blah blah blah. He was literally standing there with his arm out pointing right and never said a word to anyone. So once we figured out to go outside and right we had a stressful ten minute wal hoping we were going the right way. We were! We get to tsa and have to go through screening again. Which is insane bc we just got off a plane. The tsa agent told us this happens everyday with a smerk. On top of her attitude, her and the two other lazy ladies on her line were painfully slow. The other two lines went at least twice as fast(no exaggeration!) made it to gate 66 to find it was changed without notice to 63. Made the flight by two minutes or less sweating from running around!

American Airlines lied to us that this flight was canceled. They made me go to the ticket counter to book another flight. While standing in line, my husband found out it was not canceled, but they were boarding the plane. The porter that pushed my mother in the wheelchair was able to get our bags checked. No American Airlines employee would help us. They just said to go back to the end of the line. The porter called the gate to have the plane wait for us. American Airlines DISCRIMINATES especially against the elderly!

1. Weather was bad and airlines knew it without sending out caution email or text messages early to passengers like Delta so that passengers can prepare for coming situation, either re routing flight or mental prepare for flight delay 2. Poor coordination - called to change flight and got confirmation via phone only found out in ticket counter that was not valid. 3. Luggage counter was bad, giving wrong picking luggage location caused two hour waiting in airport for nothing.

We left Chicago close to 6 hours late and they didn't bother to put anyones luggage onboard. So we arrive close to 6 hours late and no luggage so we have to wait in line to fill out paperwork to have our luggage located/delivered along with everybody else who had checked baggage. That can not be a cost effective way to run your business

The Delta flight was such a pleasant contrast to the funky Interjet flight that I took from L.A. to Mexico that my Economy Class felt like First Class.

The movie availability was very much appreciated.

Although my TSA Pre check number was on my flight coming into Atlanta, it wss not on my fight leaving Atlanta. That caused me to arrive at my gate 5 mins before boarding time and prevented me from having time to eat breakfast before my flight.
