Arrived at the airport 2 hours early and noticed that the plane was in fact at the gate. Hmmm, no pilot apparently. Pilot arrives, we board with the hopes of getting out earlier than the delayed stated. But wait, all the passengers are on board but we are waiting for ice and catering. Seriously, the plane has been here for 2 hours and jet blue can’t spped things up and we are further delayed by waiting for ice. Poor planning!"

Me with my knee replacement can’t run and my wheelchair was not in sight. Thank goodness I had a carryon with wheels. I was out of breath when I got to Delta and the last passengers were boarding. I started panicking and interrupted the ground steward who asked me to wait with a smile. I waited . So when I told them I was standby they waved me on after showing my passport. I couldn’t find my boarding pass. I was pleasantly surprised to get a seat in first class. I was so thankful. My first time. Good things come to those who wait! Thank you Delta."

Absolutely the worst seat ever that I have had flying. While it was a short flight we were supposed to get serviced during the flight, but there was no cabin service unless you were in 1st class. So much for the perks of Comfort Plus as there were none. Not even a glass of water. Wow! When we landed late obviously because we left late we were late and there was no ground crew to get our plane to the gate so we sat for over 1/2 hour on the taxi way waiting for ground crew to be available for us to get to the gate. To add insult of injury when we did get to go to the gate there was no gate available for use so we had to deplane in the rain down the emergency stairs. They said that if you had a problem with the steep stairs that they would make other accommodations. Probably would have been another delay so we all carefully went down the steep slippery stairs. I doubt that the stairs met any OHSA or safety requirements except for emergency issues. They were wet and slippery. This was the absolute worst trip that I have taken with Delta. It will seriously influence my future trip decisions."

Yes we were in First Class and it was a (groan) 6:05 AM flight which meant that we were probably on time. But Delta’s 737-900 (to Atlanta) was very comfortable, the crew did everything well and the breakfast was quite good. (Make sure you try the quiche). We had the same crew on the next leg to Miam, who were surprised and gave us a warm welcome. There were only snacks in 1st for that short segment, but they were all we wanted."

My flight was delayed by 3 hours due to weather and I missed my connecting flight. The were was no one available at the San Diego terminal to answer questions and the call wait time was 60+ minutes. Eventually I was told that I would have to make my own arrangements for my connecting flight and the connecting airline (Alaska-which must be an affiliate as I had been booked for a Roundtrip ticket via Sun Country) would be responsible for that. So Sun Country just left me hanging and it was up to me to work with Alaska to complete the second leg of my trip."

I was told by an employee that the only economy seats were the middle seats, that aisle and window seats were preferred seats. I was told the plane was full and they could not change my "preferred" seat although I did see empty seats on the plane after takeoff. Also bathroom facilities were poor - only two in the back for the entire economy seating. And the aisles were narrow."

Pros: "My experience with American Airlines was horrible I was on flight 1357 and me and my husband started boarding the plane my husband stopped so put the bag in his seat the flight attendant Sonya #695655 taliago Portuguese was very nasty rude and disrespectful and came off very racist she told my husband to sit down and move out the house as he was placed in his bag on top of his seat then when my husband told her he was placing his bag up over the seats she asked to see his pass his boarding pass then he told her he just wanted to put his bag up over the other seat because there was no more bathroom over his seat she argue with my husband after my husband left the situation alone she then comes in with another flight attendant who was more Ruder than her it was a 20-minute delay with the both of them yelling at us and threatening to kick us off the plane then didn't offer us any drinks or snacks she kept giving my huaband nasty looks the whole 4hours she was very racist and I would never take American Airlines again experience was horrible"

Unlike other carriers, United quickly adapted to the reality on the ground and adjusted their schedules accordingly. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to me, they changed the departing gate for my connecting flight. The concourse area is so crowded and noisy, and announcements are only heard in the immediate gate are, that, though I was sitting only one gate over, I did not hear the boarding calls and missed my flight. I sat in Newark airport for six hours (which included a maintenance problem, gate change and 1 more hour delay) until the departure of the next flight to Burlington."
Cons: "Again, United changed my original departure time from Burlington, VT to San Diego (via Chicago) from 10 am to 6:30 am. This meant an overnight stay in Burlington and loss of sleep and my free breakfast. In addition, I was stuck with 4+ hr layover in Chicago. The Chicago terminal was a mass of swarming people. Horrible!"

Cons: "My birthday was yesterday, August 22, and we were traveling to Atlanta, and at the San Juan airport the flight to Chicago was delayed so we upgrade to first class because we don have enough time to get birthday diner in the stop in Chicago to Atlanta, so the thing was that they didn't have enough meals for the costumers, they were 2 meals short , my husband couldn't eat so we ask for other options and they only had 2 thing that my husband couldn't eat, because they were horrible. So that brought my husband mad, so it was not enjoyable because every time he tried to do something to feel calm again but they couldn't do anything to help us calm down. They keep telling us that it was her mistake that she miscounted and that they didn't give them enough snacks, we didn't had snacks for the rest of the flight it was stressed full. Tomorrow i have to travel again back to Puerto Rico, and im scared that tomorrow will be a horrible day traveling with United, with no space for being comfortable with no food for 9 hours, im worried that the flight is delayed again and that a lost my flight back home, were my dogs are in a hotel till that night so im scared to have to pay another night for my dogs, and I wouldn't be able to pay it.
