Here's the kicker my first fight was delayed and my luggage was stuck in Dallas! My luggage did appear at my house in the middle of the night. Is that a good use of resources?

Cons: The aircraft was downgraded, so there were 12 "overbooked" seats. The flight was delayed several times, with each new delay only being acknowledged after the previous departure time had already passed. Eventually, the flight was "delayed" to 3:15, but then it was bumped BACK to 2:45, so one woman ended up missing the flight because she had gone to the lounge based on the 3:15 departure. I accepted a voucher, but as the original flight kept getting delayed and I couldn't receive the voucher until the doors closed, I almost missed the flight I was rebooked on. If airlines would just communicate better (e.g., tell us there's a delay *before the departure time has passed*), people would be much more willing to deal with the hassle.

Which I can understand. What I don't understand is why they continued displaying a mute TV set for three hours. Why not just shut it off? BTW, my daughter flew from LA to Boston that same day and exactly the same thing happened on her plane.

Pros: United provided excellent service for my return from Puerto Rico to the mainland. Unlike other carriers, United quickly adapted to the reality on the ground and adjusted their schedules accordingly. The result was a safe, comfortable, flight for a very reasonable cost given the very short amount of time I had to make reservations. Thank you!
Cons: Seriously? Landing on one end of one terminal and having my connection at the end of another?

Pros: Traveling from SJU to GSP, my mom got to the airport in SJU for her 1am flight. To find out it had been canceled. No call or email before hand, the had to wait until 2am to change the flight and get a hotel voucher. After that, next day they board the plane and de-board the plane due to mechanical problems. Another night and just a couple of 10 vouchers. She never received an explanation or recompense for loosing part of her trip in the san juan airport. This is the second time ahe has gone thru this in the same year with United. Awful experinece.

Cons: I selected the original flight for it's times, which would work best for my grandmother who was traveling solo and needed wheel chair access. Then I receive an email there will be a 7 hour delay and there were no other flights available for my original time slot. United this is the second time you have "delayed" or changed my seat after calling and selecting it and inconvenienced me. I will look for other providers from now on!

If you have to cancel, NO refund will be made. I try to change my flight to Canada and they impose a PENALTY of $200 per passenger!! (almost the price of each ticket). So, avoid United, unless you have no other choice.

After boarding my early morning flight from San Juan to Houston, all passangers were seated we were at a stand still for 2hrs before being instructed to depart the plane. Fortunately I was able to transfer to another airline, but this overral experience with United was horrible.

We were flying with 2 young kids at 2am and there was no body there to help, anyone we asked question we were given the wrong info not pleased one bit.

Cons: My birthday was yesterday, August 22, and we were traveling to Atlanta, and at the San Juan airport the flight to Chicago was delayed so we upgrade to first class because we don have enough time to get birthday diner in the stop in Chicago to Atlanta, so the thing was that they didn't have enough meals for the costumers, they were 2 meals short , my husband couldn't eat so we ask for other options and they only had 2 thing that my husband couldn't eat, because they were horrible. So that brought my husband mad, so it was not enjoyable because every time he tried to do something to feel calm again but they couldn't do anything to help us calm down. They keep telling us that it was her mistake that she miscounted and that they didn't give them enough snacks, we didn't had snacks for the rest of the flight it was stressed full. Tomorrow i have to travel again back to Puerto Rico, and im scared that tomorrow will be a horrible day traveling with United, with no space for being comfortable with no food for 9 hours, im worried that the flight is delayed again and that a lost my flight back home, were my dogs are in a hotel till that night so im scared to have to pay another night for my dogs, and I wouldn't be able to pay it. Cons: The transportation service demands tips, and they sit around waiting to be called instead of being alert and close by to those in need. Also there were broken seats in the plane. There are no flight specifications for travelers during the flight in Spanish. I also have a complaint since I am a diabetic and no food or drinks were offered as opposed to other flights I've been on.

Cons: The flight was cancelled and we needed to return home for work the next day. It was the last flight out so we asked about a ground transportation voucher. The telephone agent told us to see the customer service rep at the terminal counter. After waiting inline for almost 45 minutes we asked an agent who was standing there about a voucher. She checked with a supervisor and said they would not provide them, we would have to wait to see an agent. Rather than miss the next bus to be delayed another 2 hours waiting for someone to tell us they wouldn't do anything for us, we left the line and purchased bus tickets. We had to pick up our luggage at the airport because we 'missed' our flight rather having it delivered. We understand flight cancelations but at no time during the process, especially at the airport, did we ever get the impression that anyone cared about us or what happened to us. We will avoid this airline.

Pros: Newer low profile seats created more room. Because of late take off, entertainment was free. Late takeoff also made for a short connection, but we made it thankfully.
Cons: Attitude of the older flight attendant white woman. I asked her about putting a piece of artwork in a bin that had a yellow thing which looked to be a flotation device, and she was sarcastically rude saying it was a raft, and no I can't put anything in there. I watched the attitude with some other guests as well, so realized it wasn't just me, but how snarkily short she was with people about their luggage and such. If you're not enjoying your job, then quit and let someone younger and fresh come on board to create a more pleasant atmosphere for everyone.

I only want to ride on these style planes from now on. They also were quick to connect the gate bridge which is important to me. I couldnt believe that I actually wanted the flight to be longer to watch more movies.

It almost feels like you are actually leaning forward in your chair, 4 hours later, it equals the most uncomfortable flight of my entire life. Cons: Flight has attendant had very negative attitude, smart mouth remarks and seemingly did not want to be there or working at the time

Pros: Leg room was surprisingly adequate.
Cons: I paid for front row seats. Flight was delayed 1hr. When we arrived at the gate they told us they had given our seats to other people because we allegedly were late.

Pros: This was the only flight out of 4 that the stewardess smiled and was helpful. Flight 160. I wanted to cry when I was actually treated like a person rather than a cattle call.
Cons: I barely caught this flight as my connection was an hour late. I wished I had time to grab some food or drink. I went all day without anything but two small glasses of water (1 per flight). My anger though resides in my cheap 250 ticket actually ended up costing over 450. Traveling by air is becoming only for the elite of society. Next time I fly, I will travel with an airline that costs are upfront.

Pros: The seat were nice, the flight was on time and the staff were kind.

Cons: I am a 75 year old female and I did not hear the overhead page for early boarding, as I am a little slower to get on the plane and would appreciate the extra time to get into my seat. When I went to board the plane (zone 3), another passenger and his girlfriend wanted to sit together and refused to move out of my window seat, even after I told the gentleman I paid for that seat, including extra ($6) for the window seat. I felt I was bullied me out of my seat that I paid extra money for and because then another passenger in the other row yelled at me to "sit down" so I would not hold up the other passengers from sitting down in their seats. I was forced to take the seat the gentleman's girlfriend must have had in the middle of the two other passengers in the other row across from where I was scheduled to sit. I know I could have called the airline stewardess but felt pressured to stay where I was because of the other passenger I had to sit next to who had yelled at me earlier. I wish there was more of an attempt to let elderly passengers board first.

Cons: No food/snack included with fare

Pros: The crew was pleasant overall and my inflight experience was fine.
Cons: The check-in process was terrible. I had checked in and had the tickets available on my phone but just needed to drop off a checked bag -- and it took over an hour and a half to do so! I was only able to drop off the bag when "last call" for my flight was announced. I arrived at 6:15am for an 8:35am flight and made it to the gate just in time for boarding. Unacceptable.

Cons: The extra charges are ridiculous. I paid out close to $100 on top of the ticket charge. Ridiculous. Never again and I'm telling everyone I know. Unbelievable. I wish I had known more about it. Also, it's nearly impossible to talk to a person for information. I don't know how you stay in business, let alone try to expand..

Pros: cancelled our flight for 5 days and offered zero compensation

Pros: The flight was exactly like any Delta or AA flight minus the frills at a very reasonable price. I added a bag & seat choice package for $100, but even with that additional cost my flight was $200 less than it would have been.
Cons: The seats were pretty much very fancy, padded lawn chairs, and the tray tables that fold out from the arm rests are pretty much useless, but these are minor complaints compared to the value of the flight.

Cons: I was notified about our flight delay this morning - at least six hours before boarding. There was no explanation of why, which doesn't always happen, but odd that alternate arrangements couldn't be made during that time. When it came to the planned boarding time, there was no update. The city name was removed from the board and a new one added. Still no update. We started boarding about 20 minutes after the delayed *departure* time. Passengers from the next listed flight kept shuffling in line, based on the confusion of the destination update displayed. It was a mess. Saving money on flights was not worth this hassle. Beyond the flight itself, here are some other gems of the experience: *upon arriving at the airport, at least half of the kiosks weren't working. There were hundreds of people in line, and five counters staffed. *when we arrived on our previous flight, we were early! However, there was a plane at our gate...and it had mechanical problems. We sat on the runway for at least half an hour.

Pros: Wasn’t able to board due to the extensive long lines at TSA. SJU needs to improve their staffing to make the process a lot quicker. Missed the flight and wasn’t able to be accommodated
Cons: Add more staffing for TSA in SJU to speed up the process

Cons: The Spirit’s airline needs to be more reliable. Fourth hours delayed wasn’t funny.

Pros: Cheap no frill airline. Water in the bathroom and $3 for water to drink for a 4 hours flight.
Cons: Adding my pre TSA check on my board pass and not changing $80 dollars for one suitcase. CRAZY!!! $3 FOR WATER ON A 4 HOURS FLIGHT. We should have at least water for drink for free. Flight was delayed on top of all these inconveniences. Bathroom have no running water too.

Pros: I fly ALL the time with my Pet in Cabin. This supposed to be our first time with Spirit. Employees refuse to let my dog fly. They said the dog cannot turn around inside the soft sides bag. My dog indeed turn around inside the bag, but sometimes she don’t want or need to do that!! Counter attendants refund my money effective in 7 days. Almost immediately in went to SOUTHWEST, side by side with Spirit counter and quickly buy our tickets to FLL. Thanks to SOUTHWEST we arrive on time.
Cons: They don’t let me fly with my Pet in cabin. I simply buy on another airline as usual.

Pros: It was the most affordable alternative to fly to Dallas. It was a connecting flight and I had no problems catching my connecting flight. The crew was very nice and attentive. The boarding process was organized. The captain keeps you well informed about what to expect during the flight, which I found comforting since flying makes me anxious.
Cons: There was no entertainment available. You need to take something with you (tablet, phone with music, books) Seats don’t recline.

Pros: I decide to fly with Spirit this time because AA were too expensive. Everything was on time. Smooth entrance process to aircraft. I bring my personal item back pack only. They are not so rigorous with bags at the gate. I pay $104 for my one way ticket and $25 for seat 5A. Buy with enough time and better prices. Wonderful State of the Art Terminal at Fort Lauderdale!! All remodeled.

Cons: Seats not comfortable at all. No entertainment at all like the little screens for movies or music. Asked for some water (I just wanted a cup of water) and they wanted to sell me a bottle of water for $3. The gave me a half full cup. Had to stay in plane for more than an hour to get out of plane when arraving at Orlando. Even had to pay for my carry on! Never have I ever paid for a carry on with other airlines! And it was very expensive. $105 for carry on + luggage.

Cons: I missed this flight because my Spirit flight from San Juan was late. I kept asking every Spirit employee that I could find to help me nit miss my connection. They jeot saying that the crew at the connection was aware lthat we were a few minutes behind. But after traversing half a building in construction I found a lady closing the still-open gate just to tell me I couldn’t get in because NOW it eas close. They booked me on a morning flught next day. I paid for a big seat on row 1. They gave me a seat 11 rows back. I want a refund and I’ll never fly Spirit ever again.

Cons: Although weather conditions were not Spirit's doing, on the return flight we had to wait in the tarmac for 3 hours to unload and 2 hours to retrieve baggage, we had a very rude crew member that eventually had a passenger return his rudeness with the same. After 2 hours of waiting was when Spirit decided to offer us 3 oz of water and a tiny package of cookie. Thank God for no medical emergency, but they didn't come out and offer actual bottles of water and/or a real snack. Terrible consideration toward the passengers.

A Fluke I had a cup to PUKE IN. i was on phone ONE HOUR and SIX MINUTES with spirit. My name was spelled wrong and was assured it was correct, only to be turned back at TSA. For return to FLL I couldnt print boarding pass, you are too cheap to have an APP or email a pass....I had to call AGAIN and was told you owe me a credit for overcharging my bag. WOW WHAT A RIDE. WHEN I LANDED THERE WAS A BRAWL AT SPIRIT COUNTER IN FLL.....SURPRISED?
