Cons: "4 hrs delay due to failure of Singapore Airlines to have a working plane on site at the appointed time. Even worse: chaotic deplaning with one crew member telling passengers to deplane and another yelling at them in the bridge for doing so. A mess of lines trying to get a new boarding pass for a rebooked missed connection—at the front of the line the agent said oh, you need to wait in this other line. Agents had no clue where to direct passengers and gave incorrect directions that necessitated more waiting. No updates to new flight time in the business class lounge. Once the flight was in the air, service was terrible. Attendants would ask for orders, then never bring them or bring the wrong thing."

Cons: "Screaming children. Totally clueless, rude flight crew. Next time kids are screaming for three hours straight on a red eye, maybe offer the parents some assistance. Makes the “perks” like hot towels seem ridiculous when staff are completely indifferent."

Pros: "Cabin crew was top notch - even in coach they could not be more accommodating and customer friendly. US airline flight attendants don’t even come close to this team that truly serviced the cabin for 8 hours continuously without the typical hiding in the back of the plane and chatting. Very encouraging that genuine care in the air is very much alive and well on Singapore Air! I will fly them every chance I get!"

Air travel doesn’t have to be a cattle herding process with peanut treats on cross country flights - shame on the US carriers - I strongly suggest they fly Singapore Air to see what true customer service feels like!"

Pros: "It's not the cheapest way to fly but it's a great way to cross the Atlantic. Seats are big enough for 2, really. Lay flat beds make the night crossing east tolerable. You really can get several hours sleep. The cabin crew is outstanding, patient, and extremely responsive to requests. Two meals served were excellent. Entertainment choices were complete. After a number of flights in Economy on other airlines I'm spoiled by Singapore Airlines and also by Business Class. And their fares seemed much less than others for the JFK to FRA route. Had no idea this level of luxury existed on an airplane."

Cons: "JustFly billed the wrong price, then to fix that,created a new ticket with my name misspelled and failed to cancel the original ticket. We later upgrade seats via Singapore then discovered the duplicate booking and misspelling. To fix that JustFly cancelled the booking with the seat upgrade. Singapore restored our upgrade at the airport but only on one direction so we had to go through it all again."

Pros: "EVERYTHING was great...from check in to the entire experience on board. Extremely friendly staff to delicious food and a great choice of beverages! Clean and tidy aircraft with lots of extra amenities. Pleasant flight, pleasant arrival. Always a great way to travel!"
Cons: ""Customs" at JFK came to an entire halt. All passengers where stuck in the welcome hall for 1h, without any information, why held there and why nothing was moving forward. All CBP booths were closed, but 8 (eight!) employees, who normally direct arriving passengers to the kiosk-machines where hanging out in two groups sharing private stories and having laughs instead of at least informing passengers, what was going on. Lots of passengers where outraged...a couple in their mid 70s in front of us had to sit down on the floor, since they had circulation problems from standing in line so long. Sadly, JFK isn't what it used to be anymore."

Cons: "Chairs on the new A380 although more comfortable than the Boeing 777 are still very uncomfortable for sleeping in the economy class. Plane is so big that it takes a while for first and business class to load and unload. Luggage took forever to unload for the same reason."

This was my third time flying with Singapore Airlines and I hope not the last time. The big plane flew so quietly, it was a wonderful flight."

The woman who waited on me was sympathetic to my diet and had empathy for me. She also gave me a little extra of something they had to ration when first doing diner service. I thought that was sweet. Happy about the blanket provided and pillow"
Cons: "Why on earth would you only offer one choice for a meal??? I don't eat chicken. I feel bad for all the vegetarians and vegans on that flight. Hawaii is a healthy place and should be represented in the meal on the plane. The food was bland and for someone to who doesn't eat a lot of meat it was very disappointing. Furthermore, the fact that there was NO movie on the way there and the in flight entertainment wouldn't work on my computer was really disappointing. Then on the way back I had to pay to watch!? I'm fuming about this. I HATE that airlines are doing this. It is greedy and gross."

Cons: "Window seat.. bcuz of the curved design, my comfort level was "just bearable". Windows are low and had to almost sit on the floor to look out of it. I'm about average height 5'8" and 225#. FOOD- Flavor was ok but I only had 1-2"×1" of chicken and 1 floweret of broccoli. Prisoners eat more than that.."

Pros: "Hawaiian Air has a direct flight from Honolulu which makes the 5000 trip bearable. The Hawaiian crew is really good-natured and warm, always w/a smile, even in the middle of the night. In these days of budget cuts, Hawaiian serves you too much food and even offers a complementary glass of wine. The only unfortunate thing is that you have to pay for all types of on board entertainment. All in all it’s a really great flight in economy."

Cons: "Paid $600 for the better seats and they refused to give a full can of soda. Didn't get much of a window seat, the window was closer to the person in front of us. There was some guy on the plane in the same section as me and my husband and they gave him full cans so I guess it's who you know. I couldn't even eat the food, it made me nauseous. They arrived 30 minutes late and we almost missed our next flight. They didnt even ask for those with connecting flights to be let off first. Checked luggage handle was torn off by staff. Not worth the extra cost or going out of my way to book with Hawaiian. I won't go with them again."

Cons: "I bought these tickets about two months ago. There was no option for seat selection. Despite the fact I bought two tickets when we finally got our boarding passes we were twelve rows apart. I tried to call Jet Blue (the actual airline) and they said they couldn't do anything over the phone. I went up to the gate and they said sorry, it was a full flight. When the cabin door closed, the seat next to me was empty, but we were taking off so I couldn't at that time move my wife. When they reached cruising altitude and they turned off the fasten seatbelts sign, I went back to where my was sitting but she was asleep."

Providing snacks and dinner vouchers while we waited for a new plane was a nice touch. But too many mechanical and/or electrical issues with this airline."

Then had to suffer through an emergency landing due to hydraulic failure on the flight back to New York. Was not a fun experience watching the fuel being dumped into the ocean for an hour."

Pros: "Great crew. During meal time they did a great job of having passengers adjust their seats so people could eat their meals in economy. If they didn't do this, it would be left to the passengers to ask the person in front of them to raise the seat or have to struggle to eat with that person's seat close to your face. Having the crew do that was great. That is another thing nice with this Hawaiiian aircraft. The seats actually have leg room in econonmy and they recline enough to rest. Don't change that! Also very nice is that you get a complementary wine or beer with your meal :-)"
Cons: "Entertainment options felt like 'nickel and diming'. It is a 5+ hour flight and all the seats have personal entertainment consoles. The only thing is you have to pay ~$7 to watch any of the movies. Be sure to have your book or device loaded up before flight. Each seat has a USB charging port :-), however it only has low amps - this means you can't charge things like a tablet :-(."

I booked a direct flight but because a restroom issue, flight stopped and 2-hour delay was added. any movie is the price a movie theater ticket $8! For an 11-hour flight, it could be free or at least few old movies should be available in the complimentary package."

Cons: "I am not a frequent flier on Cathay. I would say I would think twice before buying my next ticket. Their call centers and counter staff leave a huge amount to be desired. I called their help desk when I couldn't access my reservation. My problem is their systems push your first and middle names together as a first name in their systems so I couldn't access my reservation. I really, really struggled understanding the person on their help desk. Then 48 hours before my flight I tried to book my seats and get my boarding pass. There were no seats for a party of 3 traveling together and only middle seats for the 3 of us. I waited for 20 minutes calling their support center. Of course their team could not help. All seats were booked. Luckily she offered to book my seats for the return and we managed to get the last 3 together in the back of the plane. If you book through Kayak recommend immediately calling to book seat numbers. I have ran out of room but returning from Vancouver their systems didn't read American passports and everyone tried to get tickets issued the staff at the desk laughed when told and said they knew it was a problem....but it did keep the many skiers busy in the self service line:) Also the desk opens 2hours and 59 minutes before departure so don't arrive early"

Cons: "Where to begin....The flight was delayed an hr leaving Hong Kong. Then we were rerouted without notice to Newark International. Upon landing and changing our plans, we were told we were actually proceeding to our original destination in JFK. However, we have to wait for a new crew and we're stuck on the tarmac, on the plane for additional couple hrs. The experience was very aggravating, especially after such a long flight. Additionally, I find Cathays lack of transperancy with their customers very unprofessional. Sad as this is my preferred airline to flight but will take this into account for future bookings."

Cons: "Crew did not offer beverages or bottled water for coach passengers. The lights were left on for most of the redeye despite it being a 5 hour flight. The plane was old - there was food from the previous flight in my seat when I arrived. The blanks and pillows looked used and worn. Our flight arrived 45 minutes late with no explanation - it seemed to be a result of the slow/delayed boarding process. I will avoid Cathay Pacific going forward."

Cons: "Missed connecting flight from Hong Kong to JFK. I was given another flight but had to wait seven hours. Meal vouchers did not cover enough for how long I waited. New flight was not direct like the original one so there was a layover in Vancouver. I was supposed to get back to New York on February 2nd at night, but arrived around 6:00am on the 3rd. This was a major inconvenience since I had school 3 hours after I arrived and then work. I would suggest to not have arriving flights and connecting departing flights less than hour and thirty minutes to two hours apart. Only for delay issues."

Cons: "I personally don't like how you can't choose seats until check in. Although the food menu states that noodles and snacks were available upon request, we were turned down several times when we requested. Food served, especially main entree, were barely edible. It was probably the worst airline food I've ever had, and I travel very frequently. When we arrived back at JFK from our trip, it took over 2 hours for our luggage to arrive at baggage claim."

Pros: "I liked the crews the food just ok. It was a long flight,my back was uncomfortable."

Pros: "Had a very present experience. Crew was lovely and helpful. Liked that we had menus for meals and snack readily available. Felt like the food was better than the average plane fair and wine with the meal of you want it. Plenty of movies on the media screen. There was often a line for the toilets. We must have been a well hydrated flight. Attendants were good with maintaining the tissue paper etc when notified that it had run out Overall a very pleasant experience."

Pros: "When you see a big plane you always wonder how long it will take but Cathay Pacific was very efficient during the boarding and deplaning. It was a very long flight and they kept everybody happy with a smile. Extremely accommodating."

The flight attendants were also really conscientious but also discrete about making sure that things were comfortable to passengers, for example making sure that windows were closed most of the time and lights were down so that people could sleep in between meals, and moving someone that was sick to a more comfortable and private seat, both for the sake of the sick individual and for the comfort of the people that had initially been sitting around them. -The complementary movie options were great and really helped pass the time on the 24+hr flight from NYC to Western Australia. -1 free large checked bag, which was very nice. -I think the complementary food and snacks were really yummy and generous, for airline food. I very much enjoyed the meals and snacks. Also, the complementary wine was a nice treat and tasted surprisingly good. -The complementary pillows and blankets were nice, warm, and soft. -The flights were on time, much better than American airlines that I've flown on. -The bathrooms were cleaned regularly throughout the flight and were much cleaner and nicer smelling than other airlines that I've been on."
Cons: "The only thing thing that could really be improved upon (which is not as much the airline's fault as the plane manufacturer's fault) is that the economy seats and cabin layout could be more comfortable for long flights. I understand how hard it must be to design a plane that fits that many people and that's comfortable for 24+hrs of flying, but a few improvements could relatively easily be made I think, which would improve the experience dramatically: -If the seats were softer (and perhaps more ergonomically designed with an average person's shape in mind) it would make a world of difference, I think. -Being able to put the arm up on the wall side of the window seat would make it much more comfortable. -Padding on the arms would also help. -Of course more leg space and wider seats would make a world of difference, but I know that is tough to do since space is limited."

Turbulent air most of the way to JFK, no fault of Qantas. However pilot made no effort to avoid it or was not allowed to go to another flight level. In any event no communication from Capt. Food was mediocre at best. Cabin crew was getting beaten up by turbulence. They did the best they could. Arm rest USB power receptacle broke and headphone jack faulty (60C)."

Only at the end of a very long way there was a representative of Quantas to show us the way. We were very nervous because of uncertainty and came late to the gate. Then it turned out that there were many people behind us. The plane was waiting for them for about an hour. Finally, everybody came. It would be much more logical, if from the beginning the connecting flight to JFK was postponed to some more appropriate time."

Changing flights was a mess, getting your bags, going though customs, picking up bags and having to go so far in the airport to go check in again was disorganized. Food was not good, fish was fishy, worst meal in three weeks of traveling off and on plans in and out of AU."

Pros: "It was a safe and clean flight. We left BNE an hour late (due to late plane arrival form SYD) but landed on time."
Cons: "I have always been a fan of Qantas but I do not recall your food offerings to be this bad from my last flight in 2012. It is less than meh. Most passengers relied on inflight entertainment system (I preloaded my iPad Pro with what I wanted to watch). The system was down most of the flight. They finally got it back after consulting with the ground tech support and rebooting it many times. This impacted most people's experience."

This was treated as an inconvenience. During and after boarding, flight attendants addressed passengers rudely when encouraging them to take their seats in a timely fashion. Later, when my seat mate politely asked a FA to repeat the food options, she asked, "Excuse me?" several times and seemed very irritated to have to repeat the choices for him. Also, near the end of the flight, a pillow was on the ground and a FA asked those seated in my row to pick it up. We responded that it wasn't ours and she said something to the effect of, "Oh yeah? So how did it get there?" (Maybe because someone else dropped it and we didn't notice?) The FAs seemed irritated to serve passengers at all. Each time they passed through for beverage or meal service, I felt like I was imposing on them. I have never witnessed anything quite like it. Makes me wonder why they were all so upset and and felt it appropriate to speak and act disrespectfully toward customers. (Delta, do you have any insights?) I hope they all got a good night's rest after that haul."

They were all full and i had no time to find one since I was waiting there for 3 hours with no informational. I slept on the floor and delta didnt even offer us a blanket. That was my worst trip ever."
