We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this."

My mother with Lymes disease was waiting 3 hours in Providence supposed to arrive a 11:50 instead 2:50am we were so tired missed a day of vacation."

This all began when airlines charged for baggage and carry on became the only way to travel without excess fees. There is not enough overhead storage for everyone to carry-on so let's go back to no fees for baggage. The boarding process will become smooth again."

In concept it should be a good process, but it was just a sea of people asking each other which boarding group they were in. Going back to asking those who are in a particular boarding zone to form a line and doing so each zone at a time seems like a smoother process."

Cons: "The boarding process is very confusing. There are so many different boarding priorities and programs, it is difficult to know where you are in the boarding process. Even if you have a ticket labeled as Group 1, you may still be one of the last boarded because of all the different programs that have priority over you. Would be better to limit the advance boarding to people who need extra help and a single program. This leads to the question, why are there so many different programs? Wouldn't it be easier to have a single loyalty program? If you don't qualify for advance boarding because you did not purchase a first class seat, or you haven't reached the advance boarding requirements, you don't qualify. Let's start thinking about the customer again, and less on the profit margin. How would one of your executives feel if they had a boarding Group 2 and 85% of the plane was already boarded by the time your group was called, thereby limiting the space for your correct size carry-on? One more thing that would be beneficial, enforce the size limit for carry-on luggage. I have been to airports that limit the size with a box on the x-ray machine so you can not even get an oversized piece of luggage through security. Just one idea for the industry."

Pros: "The crew did everything they could for the passengers to make them comfortable and informed about the situation but unfortunately it was out of their hands."
Cons: "It may be La Guardia Airport that is the one to blame and not AA, but long story short I was on the airplane on the ground in NY for about 5 hours. We had a domino effect of things happen that caused us to be delayed and then cancelled. First a Gate change to a different terminal after boarding was suppose to begin so we had to take a shuttle over and we're still missing 50 passengers, Engine problem that required maintenance, refuel because we were in the plane on the ground waiting for so long, deplane and replane for 10 mins because of a law, on the runway and back to the gate for all these different occasions. When they finally let us off the plane after all these hours it was because of weather (although the skies were blue and the pilot was confident it wouldn't be an issue) they didn't actually cancel the flight until 5pm, my flight was suppose to take off at 9am. They were also required by law to give us free snacks Bc we hadn't eaten all day or had fresh air--these were all chips and soda...in gluten free so I had to starve. AA customer relations said they couldn't compensate because the issue that was documented in their records for my flight cancellation was because of "weather"... my flight couldn't be rescheduled until the following afternoon, making me have to cancel work 2 days in a row and pay for multiple taxis and and extra night of boarding. I will NEVER fly AA or La Guardia again."

Comfort was good because I had paid for an upgrade which I actually thought I was paying for the international flight but found out it was actually for the Charlotte flight which was a surprise it was not very clear from the tool. So hence the Comfort was great on this flight. But the tool needs to make it much more clear as to what you are selecting the upgrade for. Food, there has got to be something else out there other than pretzels, I understand why we do not have peanuts, but a little bit more variety would be very nice. I understand there's a cost tractor, but often pretzels tend to be fairly stale. Short flights entertainment."

Flight went through a series of delays until we were finally informed that our flight would not make the flight departing Philly to SF. Rather than fly to Philly during the DNC, we decided to SPEND ANOTHER NIGHT IN PROVIDENCE and take the flight out the next day. This part of the trip caused me to lose a day of work and spend more money on a hotel and meals. This was very poor planning on your part since there were flights flying in and out of both places, but your company was short one aircraft that would have gotten my son and I home on time!!! This was my last flight on American Airlines and I will be sure to spread the word to my friends and family that you have become too unreliable!!"

Also gave no snacks and only half can refreshments, no entertainment."

On our initial flight from Indianapolis to Ft. Lauderdale the attendants even gave each of them their own set of pin-on wings since it was their first time. The kids loved this!"

Cons: "The gate people were horrible at explaining the delays and then trying to set up alternatives. Quick tip: offering "free water" when your flight is delayed 1.5hrs so several people will miss their flights is not enough."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by 2 hours causing me to miss my connecting flight to Indianapolis. Went to the service desk to re-book, and nothing could be done to get me out in time. Customer service was not great. I was flying to see my daughter graduate, and the only time they could get me out was when the graduation started. No hotel vouchers were given for the delay either, so the airport bench ended up being the bed. So I ended up being stranded in Newark for an additional 8 hours to just miss her graduation."

My checked was only 3 lb over the 50 lb limit. United actually made me take 3 pairs of dirty jeans out & carry them with me in a Target shopping bag! Ridiculous!"

In an effort to allow her to spread out and be more comfortable, I asked if I could move to one of the three empty seats together two rows up ( this was after all passengers had boarded and doors had shut.) I was tod there was a fifty dollar upgrade cost to sit there. So those seats remained empty the whole flight as I had a one year old to help entertain. I understand policy and upgrade costs ( those seats were not first or business class,) but once we were in flight I thought the attendants would use common sense and Cortes you which they did not. Very disappointed in there overall performance. They were neither friendly or courteous."

Asked several crew/desk folks about this and no one seemed to know what the deal was. Had to pay for what would have normally been a carry-on, which was not explained before purchase. Bags took an hour to get to baggage claim, which was heightened by the fact that I did not want to check my bag but I did since it would have been $40 to carry it on ($30 for checked). Overall was not a huge fan. Would be worth flying if it was several hundred dollars cheaper than other airlines, but in this instance it was not."

Cons: "I had to check in through an agent, according to the kioske, and the line was a mile long. I made my flight by seconds and was at the airport an hour and a half before doarding time. I was also told I couldn't pay cash to check a bag and it was the only form of payment I had which was incredibly frustrating especially when the agent was rude and not understanding."

Cons: "Frontier Changed my flight a few days before take off and had to change around all my plans for transportation. Gave us a much later flight and were not offered any compensation for switching to a much cheaper flight initially. There were no water option or snack that were complinentary and for a 2.5 hour flight that seems ridiculous to me. Not please with the hidden bag fees ($30-35 per person)and seat charges ($13-18). Better off going with a pricier ticket to start with. Download the app it is helpful to pull up boarding pass and add your seat and bags. The website is confusing with its dumb perks pop up page that no one understands. So do your research before booking with frontier. Wish I had."

If there was a mechanical issue, we should have switched planes an hour after the issue wasn't able to be resolved. Your stewardess with the gray hair was unpleasant as well. There were no features on this plane so the passagers had the option of just sitting there or sleeping. Not even your basic airline snacks (peanuts, crackers) were complimentary. This was very "nickel and dime" like. I also don't care for the fact that you have to pay for your carryon, which is more expensive than checking a bag."
