I really enjoyed the whole flight - Finnair is definitely one of the best airlines.
I wish there was a bigger choice of classical music in the entertainment program.
I think this airline has an attention to detail and level of service which surpasses most other airlines. Whilst remaining competitive these factors make traveling with Finnair a far more comfortable and attractive proposition for me. In addition, Helsinki airport must be one of the best around.

my luggage was misplaced and I didnt have it for 3 days.
The flight did eventually take off, unlike a few others leaving around the same time.
We were delayed several hours and were never told why. Mostly there were no Aeroflot staff at the gate to ask. When there was, they said they couldn't help us because our flight was a codeshare with FinnAir. At the last minute they switched gates, sending us all scurrying.
Staff wasn’t helpful and gave false information
SAS has introduced hand luggage measurement and weighing at checkin, for a maximum of 17.5 lbs or 8 kg. SAS does not care if you have flown on another transatlantic carrier, which allows more than 8 kg. Then you need to start emptying your hand luggage at checkin. The whole checkin process was a big mess, the contract employees eg. at Heathrow do not help much (they probably do not do this to any other airline). SAS staff does not remind you to take your IDs and passport, medications etc. from your hand luggage, which is then checkedin luggage as opposed to hand luggage. It is obvious that transatlantic passengers have more hand luggage than many local passengers.
The water bottles, pillow, and earbuds were on the seats.
The returning flight to the US they did not dim the lights so that it was comfortable to sleep. A red light was shining down on my head most of the trip because I had a window seat. It was very annoying.
How possible with any criteria could charge 33€ for 1.5 such exagerate no good company at all ..

Pleasant and safe flught
The flight was very pleasant, with great service. The in-flight entertainment selection was good, food was tasty. The day we flew, this flight was maybe half-full in coach, which may not be great for BA, but fantastic for leg room! The attendants were lovely, and I particularly enjoyed the continuous water service through the flight, which kept me nicely hydrated. The ice-cream mid-way through movietime was a welcome treat!

The flight was able to board early and arrive early. Very friendly service, enjoyable flight.

2 hours late !!!
Could check my suitcase earlier (arrived at airport too early). I had a bit off over 23 kg but that did not pose any problem. Boarding was quiet fast and almost with timetable. The food was good and service provided pleasant. I was happy that we landed safely providing bad weather in Toronto that evening.
The crew was hospitable and warm. All the in-flight service was attentive and high-quality. We had a wonderful experience with LOT and would reccent them.
The only potential difficulty was the short layovers. We made our connection boarding with only 20 minutes to spare.

Uncomfortable seating for long-haul flight. I survived, though.
When we bordered ,they used a bus to bring us to the plane.It was cold and windy outside,so,not comfortable.

Weather delay -- but Lufthansa made all the connection corrections prior to landing!
Flight out was delayed by four and a half hours, missed connection was a pain. Was not aware that Lufthansa changed their policy. To reserve seats you have to pay hundreds of dollars, which was not made clear while booking. Further the quality of their food was significantly degraded.

No snack served before dinner, no choice of dinner food. over see flight and the only food is dinner??? My laggage had priority tag but got out last and in resolt of it I missed the connecting flight to Boston!!! Damaged laggage

It was exceptionally on time. Very informative captain without being chatty. Crew was efficient but not very friendly. Food was tasty and sufficient.
