Boarding was not done by groups, I end up storing my bag in the bin by the end of the plane while my seat was at the beginning and this was delaying my exit upon arrival. Not good experience having connected flight.
Overall good experience
The seat was comfortable on the newer plane and the in flight entertainment was excellent.
The airline features an upgrade yourself bid option that starts at a minimum bid. We went above this and got rejected, only to find there were still open seats. They tried to then upsell is at 4x the cost which makes the entire thing seem terribly dishonest. After calling customer service, they hung up on me. It’s clearly a scam to extract more pricing data from customers.
Everything was fine on this flight. From the price food and service. The layover was to long but it was a last minute booking
The employees were very nice and helpful.
Our itinerary was a little confusing, because it said british airways, but we were flying on aer lingus. So we went to the wrong gate at first, luckily we had shown up early amd that gave us plenty of time to make it to the correct gate.
Overall the experience was good. Cabin crew helpful.
while going to US from Mumbai -Wheelchair service at Istanbul was found unsatisfactory. The attendanct was unfriendly adamant and rude. overall the wheel chair persons were neglected by the airlines (even at Boston ) but the cabin crew took care of all wheel chair persons.
World-class service at a price, convenience of connections, still free seat resevation and decent luggage allowance, two suitcases, for all of which other carriers extort extra payments.
Little bit quicker tray collection after meal.
There was a female attendant who as soon as I got to my seat asked me to stop blocking the aisle. I found this very annoying because I'd only just stopped at my seat. I found her manner disrespectful.
Transfer desk in Istanbul is terrible. Poor customer service. It took 6 hours to get transferred from the airport to the hotel.
Standing outside of the plane in the freezing hail, when my clothing was completely unequipped for it
I enjoyed just relaxing, eating good food, drinking as much quality alcohol as I pleased and having all the entertainment I could ask for
The entertainment system could remain active till the actual opening of the doors. Why not?
Very hospitable. Really enjoyed the food. Got bumped up to Business class on both legs of the trip.
The boarding could have been better organized at Frankfurt. Was very scattered.
