He abruptly woke he up three times with his loud voice talking with passengers...with no regard of the sleeping passengers. He is more suited for the main cabin. He didn't offer any help when I was struggling to put my bag in the overhead bin. He watched as the young lady flight attendant struggled to open the plane door... I did not feel that the cost for first class was worth it. He never responded when I thanked him for each thing he did...nothing...not, "You're welcome" or "my pleasure." So, it was a first class disappointment."

She did put it under but kept making comments and even did not apologize. A frustrating flights - over 5 hours late with spicy flight attendant attitude."
Cons: "I had safety concerns on the flight from YVR to Toronto because seated in the exit row were two individuals who were brought to the gate assisted on a cart and had to wait for assistance to get on and off the flight. They had very poor ambulation which made me nervous as these people have agreed, by sitting in the exit row, that they are able and willing to help in the case of an emergency evacuation. This was not a safe situation and was noted by several passengers."

Then, I couldn't resist giving up my re-assigned (centre) seat so that two sisters could sit together. The two folk in my row were lovely, they talked more than I did, but when I joined in, it was a genuinely pleasant conversation. Three strangers, meeting per chance. The woman next to me had given her seat up for a family to sit together, so it really was a chance encounter! Diane needs to be promoted!"

On all flights, we got the seats in the middle of the aircraft allocated, which is challenging when you are on crutches. - The second flight to London was in a terribly old machine where the overhead compartments were not well equipped to accommodate my crutches. The only way they fitted was at the very back underneath all the luggage. So when I asked the flight staff to help me get my crutch to go to the toilet, as I could not get it myself, he asked: "do you really have to use it?". I considered that very rude! - The selling of the entertainment systems took forever, which meant that the food sale was very late. Almost 4 hours into the flight on an overnight flight is really late! Especially when people would prefer to sleep. Due to my medication, I had to wait for food, but it took forever. All in all, not the best experience"

In the end, we are not sure if booking thru Kayak was part of the problem as Wesjet staff said ..... Oh you booked thru a 3rd party Comments ?"

But the weather was nice and sunny when we arrived Toronto; in fact my connecting flight ( Hainan airlines HU 7995 had left 20 min. earlier- on time- for Bejing. The crew in Westjet plane told me that all airlines were delayed in Toronto airport due to bad weather , and so that I would not miss my connecting flight."

After forgetting the bottom of a piece of paper I was not told I needed to keep with me (it was given to me when I landed in Mexico), I was turned away from the gate minutes before boarding. I was told to exit the terminal (with no options as to what to do with my duty free purchases) and pay a 600 pesos fee for a new piece of paper. Ok, fair enough. When I get there, they don’t take credit cards. Aeromexico shrugs their shoulders yet again. I run across the airport to another terminal to get cash to pay for the silly paper, run back to get it, sprint across the airport (again, with ZERO help from the airline getting through security to make my flight) only to have the door closed in my face. Defeated I walk to the module in the terminal to ask for a new flight to be told I have to exit the terminal AGAIN. I ask what I do with my duty free purchases (bottles of tequila I cannot bring in again) and I’m told I should check them in with my luggage. After informing the agent I don’t have luggage (it was a short trip) i was told I would need to purchase luggage. THEN, I was told my rescheduling fee for the flight would be $720, a full priced fare. Never flying Aeromexico again. I’ll take 3 planes on American before a direct flight with them. Enjoy."

After that they gave us our check-in luggage for us to take it to another location (to another floor) within the airport to be checked-in again. They wanted to charge us $20.00 additional per check-in bag even though they were half of the weight limit. After we complained, they dropped this charge. Due to all the delays we lost our connection and we had to book another flight. Not a good experience. We will never make a stop in Mexico in the future."

When I showed up to the airport to check my baggage (this was 2 hours before my flight) there was a huge line of people already there. I went to the back of the line and after 15 minutes of not moving I texted my family that I might be missing my flight. As I got closer to the front a nervous and overwhelmed Aeromexico employee went to the back of the line and handed the last person a paper and told her she would be the last person allowed on the flight. Anyone lined up after her was turned away because they had showed up too late. It seemed to me that those people would have made it onto the flight if the airline had been prepared and ready to check everyone in on time. When I was finally able to check my bag there were only 20 minutes left until my flight was supposed to depart. I rushed to the security checkpoint and ran to my gate in fear of missing my flight, only to find another large line of people. They hadn't even started boarding! After waiting 10 minutes in line (10 minutes before the plane was supposed to depart), the crew slowly strolled to the gate. They didn't even seem to care. Overall, my experience was below average, but seeing how people were not allowed to board due to the airline not being prepared for this flight, I would say I won't be flying Aeromexico again."
