Cons: "We are in the midst of a pandemic and while masks were "required," the number of passengers not wearing a mask or wearing a mask incorrectly was obscene. The flight attendants needed to be reminding people and correcting people on their mask wearing. More importantly, the airline needs to be upholding the safety of their passengers! I was also seated DIRECTLY next to another passenger, which breaks all social distancing. And while I repeatedly asked him to fix his mask, it still always managed to fall off his face while sleeping. I know it isn't really the fault of the crew, but I think the airline needs to do a better job."

Cons: "First of all, I tried to check in the night before our flight, only to find out that the only way you can do that is to pay money to select your seat. So, we checked in at the airport, only to find out that the cost for a checked bag is now $25 instead of the $20 it would have been to check in early online. Not to mention the fact they charge your for a carry-on which is $30 if you check-in ahead of time, but $40 if you check-in at the airport!! Clearly they want to try to give people an incentive to check-in early, which is fine, but then making you pay extra just to select a seat!! What a joke! We will NEVER fly Sun Country again!"

My coffee cup couldnt stay in the cup holder and I couldn't read the paper. SUPER uncomfortable and I'm just a medium sized woman. And SC did not include the cost of baggage or seat assignments in the ticket price. Lame."

Cons: "I booked with Sun Country because rates were significantly cheaper than with Alaska and my priority was to book a nonstop flight. What they don't tell you when booking, is all of the fees associated with your flight that you pay AFTER booking. Baggage Fees: Sun Country doesn't allow you to take more than a personal item on the plane without a fee. It's $20 to check a bag (which you pretty much have to do, as their carry on bag dimensions are smaller than the average roll-a-board bag), and $30 if you want to carry a bag on. Per person. So there's $80 gone for my fiance and I, round trip. Seat Fees: Yes, you heard me right - then you have to PAY FOR YOUR SEAT. I'm sorry - what did I pay for when I purchase my ticket?? The front of the coach cabin starts at $25 per seat (including exit rows), $20, $11 towards the middle, and $2 at the back of the plane. Ok, so apparently if you check in online, you have to select a seat and you have to pre-pay for bags. Ok, felt like I was stiff armed here. The fiance and I decided to go with the $2 seats - can't be that bad, right? Boarding and flight crew were lovely - no complaints here. The plane itself, and the additional costs associated in-air...another story. We were going to a wedding, so he had his suit - the flight attendant let us know the plane didn't have a closet (wait, what?!) so we had to lay it down in one of the overhead bins. Don't worry folks - the bins were next to empty across the entire plan (again, wait, what?!) because of course no one wanted to have to pay $10 more to carry on a smaller bag than it would cost them to check a NORMAL bag. One of the two bathrooms was working, and the entire back of the plane smelled like feces was being recycled through the air system. No wonder these were $2 seats. The aisle was full of people standing the whole flight because the plane only had one working restroom. Entertainment? Hope your phone is charged - the planes are old and don't have outlets. The options for 'entertainment' offered for free on larger carriers like Alaska, are $15 per device on Sun Country - so let's say that's another $60 round trip if we each wanted a 'normal' flight amenity. TOTAL - we're now looking at $144 of charges I would never have imagined ON TOP of the fees I had paid when booking. Next time, I'll go with Alaska - I know what to expect, and know there are no real hidden charges anywhere. At that rate, the cost isn't that different either."
Cons: "While the cart was parked next to me the flight attendant dropped a can of soda which splattered on my jacket, shirt, pants, feet and shoes - needless to say, I wasn't happy to be wearing soda for the next 10 hours. While she did apologize, their just wasn't any heart, concern or follow-up on it. No steps to give me water or napkins to clean myself up. Very disappointing."

Pros: "I've flown Sun Country in the past once or twice and had generally positive experiences. Sun Country did offer food vouchers of $10 and $12 due to the delays, and $100 towards a future Sun a Country flight, which is more than I could say for Spirit Airlines. The staff that I encountered did the best with the information they had and were always friendly, but they didn't seem to have the information required to help the passengers they were working with."
Cons: "I flew from Minneapolis to Seattle and back for Christmas with Sun Country and each of my flights was delayed by over three hours. The initial flight we arrived at our gate to discover the flight had been cancelled with no warning and we had been switched to a flight leaving six hours later. When we checked in no one said a word, and when we arrived at our gate there was no Sun Country employee to inform us of the change. The only reason that we and our fellow passengers learned of this at all was by checking the departure boards at the airport and learning it had been cancelled. To add insult to injury they forced each of the passengers to go back out to the front ticket counter to have new tickets reissued rather than having them printed out at our gate, meaning we all had to go back through security due to what seemed to amount to the laziness of the carrier. On the return flight my flight was initially pushed back by one hour, then two, and eventually ended with a four hour delay. Several of these changes were made within mere minutes of each other. While I understand that delays happen, that also means rides needs to be reworked, plans cancelled, etc. To have the first few hours of time with family robbed by a delay, and the final hours of time with family marred by having to rework plans and make last second changes is a disappointment."

The lady at the counter asked me what time my flight was and I said 6:20 and right off the bat she was extremely rude and said that I missed the flight. I panicked internally and asked her how that was possible?! She said the cutoff was at 5:45am and I missed it. I asked if there were other flights available today or tomorrow and she said there was nothing she could do and that I had to call the booking company to see if they could book me. I wanted to cry because my friend had just dropped me off and I called to see if she was close enough to turn back. Luckily she hadn’t left yet. I called the booking company and they were able to book me a trip for the following day but they charged me an additional $100. I wish they had disclosed that we need to be there 45 minutes to an hour early otherwise you miss your flight. And it’s ridiculous that I had to pay an extra $100... financially it was stressful due to the covid 19 situation. I was extremely disappointed in how the lady at the check in counter at American Airlines treated me. She www extremely rude and I have never been spoken to in a way that made me feel attacked."

On board WiFi can be used to access movies and other entertainment on the your own device but make sure your battery is charged and you have an external battery also since the seats don't have power. I tried to sleep but it is not easy for me to fall sleep when the seat back reclines only 3 inches so I didn't have luck taking a nap. Conclusion: I am not taking this flight any more. I will go back to taking will switch back to flying Delta even though there are no direct flights."

After assigning to another flight, it was delayed and gate changed about 10 times and was finally cancelled after it was boarded and left gate after 2am due to engine problem. We had to cancel our trip since it was a short trip for a funeral and we had missed it. AA offered no compensation and no apology (not during the whole night of delays and cancels)."

The crew was not very helpful because I almost went into a hypothermia condition because the air in the cabin was extremely cold. When I ask for a blanket one of the stewardesses said that AA would no longer have blankets in flight which I prove it wrong when I saw in the flight Mai-SDQ blanquets all over the cabin. The soliton they gave me was that they would ask the crew to raise the temp in the cabin, I had to make the request three times and I had to tell the stewardess that if not raising the temperature in the cabin I could have gone into an emergency hypothermia crisis. I had to take another shirt from my carry-on to put it over my shirt to warm me up."

Cons: "The boarding process for just about any airline is nearly identical. It always seems like it takes longer to board than expected even if, in reality, it's not an unreasonable amount of time. The only think I didn't care for was that overhead storage in the area I was sitting was just about full by the time I was seated which meant that I had to store my carry on a few rows behind where I sat. This meant that during off-boarding I needed to go against the flow of people to get back to my carry on. All in all, it was a minor inconvenience."

The U tied wing was amazing. Your prices are great but to keep ppl from rather paying more just for one or two more luxuries, try fixing this."

I didn't purchase a sandwich but the two guys next to me did and were both vocal about their disappointment with what they received for $9. And they were strangers who didn't talk to each other the rest of the time, so I think they meant it. Also, entertainment: they had a movie on the pop-down screens, and 4 free movies to stream to your device using onboard wifi, as well as 2 tv shows. So maybe I'm being harsh. But it was a transcontinental flight and they didn't have headrest screens loaded with movies. Is this only for international flights? The movies were bad, or at least not appealing to me ('Keanu' and 'Zoolander 2'). It was possible to pay for additional movies, but who wants to do that? It was sort of the EasyJet model, where you get good basic service but pay for everything additional that one gets for free on Delta. Maybe that was reflected in the price I paid for the ticket, but I was expecting that AA would be in the same league as United and Delta. One nice perk: free wifi for T-Mobile customers, including me."

When I asked for options for an earlier flight into Rapid City so I didn’t have to wait 24 hours and miss my visit with my sister, he looked at different hubs (Chicago, Minneapolis) to see if they had any available flights into Rapid, he checked for double bookings, and when he couldn’t find anything, he put me on the standby list for the first flight out in the morning and wrote down the flight information for all of the United flights from Denver for the following day. Marlin provided excellent customer service and was a huge credit to the company."
Cons: "The flight was supposed to leave at 3:56 pm and didn’t leave until 7:30 pm. I would estimate at least 15-20 people missed connecting flights because of the delay. According to the United app, the delay initially started in Portland due to mechanical issues, which took over 3 hours. Then, there was a weather delay in San Francisco according to the gate agent - there was a ground hold and no planes were landing or flying out. At some point, I would think another plane would have been an option rather than delaying a flight for this long and disrupting holiday travel for so many people."

United customer service was very poor and after 16 hrs. at SO without resolution on flights and schedule, we just came back home. If Siss Air could have waited 10 minutes for 12 or more passengers, we would have been fine. I don't know if United communicated with them or not. This was a disaster!"

Turns out we get to the airport and our original connecting flight was severely delayed and we would have made it on to that flight. So either way we were stuck with a loss."

Cons: "My friend and I have taken our hiking packs to Alaska, California, Washington, and all along the East coast. Never have we been asked to check our packs. I was mostly surprised, at first. Once I was seated a man in front of me had his hiking pack and two ukuleles in their cases, neither of which could fit under his seat. That's when I became frustrated. O This plane sucks: our knees were slammed into the seat in front of us because the chairs are so close together. No USB plugs. Plane was dirty, scuff marks on the wall and ceiling. There was paper in the pouch that looked like a mouse had chewed on it."

Multiple people around me were also asking around if the chairs recline. I have a mild back injury and sitting up at 90 degrees the entire way was very uncomfortable."

When I booked the flights I was only allowed to choose seats for the first flight - Charlotte to Houston...but not for the other three legs of our Charlotte to Seattle trip. The only two seats together from Houston to Seattle were in the very last row. And, on our return flight we had to purchase Economy Plus in order to sit together."
Pros: "More important than the trip home last Wednesday was the reason for the trip. We attended my granddaughter's wedding. Everything else was secondary. Even if the trip had been in a one wheeled barrow, it would have been good. To get to what you want which is the mechanics of the trip. The two people who attended to the aisle chair, most teams were competent. Some hadn't done many passengers so they were fumbling with the straps. I've learned that I almost alway have to ask for one at the gate where they check or issue, (what's it called, loading permits, some kind of pass, not landing pass. loading pass. I can't remember and my wife has gone to bed.) Well, they have to come up with an aisle chair because I've only got 1 1/2 legs. I always make it to the seat on the plane, but the competency of the various crews is uneen. Sorry my answer is so nonspecific but I don't remember one airline from another. Great people all, get the job done."

We already paid the $25 so it makes no sense for it to cost $100 more. They were completely unreasonable and not helpful. Not to mention the flight was an hour late. Our flight on the way out was completely cancelled all together and no one bothered to tell either of us. Then they rerouted us on completely different flights! We had to basically throw a fit to get on the same flight, which ended up being 8 hours AFTER our original flight was supposed to leave. The entire experience was a disaster and I will never fly united again."

I was able to rebook my connecting flight, at a cost, but at least I wasn't going to miss it. Barb went and made me hot tea with fresh ginger, mint leaves, and honey for my throat. Through a difficult situation, she was a ray of sunshine and kindness."

We were in the last row where you can't even lean your seat back but the guy in front of me was just about in my lap the whole flight. Charging for in flight entertainment and meals also seems like the airlines care less for customer satisfaction than the money they can get from passangers. While boarding, we were stopped in first class because the flight attendant was in the aisle getting drinks for first class...Before all the passengers boarded. Also, why is every flight told they get one carry on plus a personal item when that isn't really the case? If the flight is full, apparently there is not enough room for each passanger to have a carry on so people who have delicate items packed in their carry ons have to surrender them and pray their precious vacation purchases aren't smashed when they get their luggage back. Quantity over quality."

She died a hour before I got there. And now I'm fighting with them for a refund."

Once I arrivied in SFO I got a text message notification stating my luggage had been put on an incorrect flight and I would have to return to get my luggage. The attendants at the podium were rude. This was my first terrible flying experience ever."

We arrived to minot only to find out that our 3 suitcases, one stroller and 2 car seats were never in the flight. Awful! And my connecting flight was even delayed an extra 55 min so I don't quite know where my things are."

I was at the gate before the plane detached and the guy said I should be on the plane 15 min before and that he wasn't going to stop the plane from going. I had a business meeting that I was trying to get to so him doing this completely ruined my day and purpose for flying and spending $300 on a flight. I have NEVER experienced anything like this. Once on my rescheduled flight the attendant made several comments about the fact that I had a pillow with me. If you don't know someone situation then you should make any comments at all. I had just finished a 5 day drive across country and unfortunately the pillow needed to get home with me. Not a single employee was kind welcoming or helpful. I will never fly with this airline again. I will be letting EVERYONE I speak to know about this experience and I plan on writing reviews wherever I can find."

I tried United after many years but will be returning to Southwest Airlines - in the long run it's less expensive. I realize nothing will change based on my opinion, regardless, it is more comfortable and dignified to take a Greyhound bus than to fly a major airline these days."

The gate agents wouldn't tell me what was going on, only that the flight was overbooked and that they were "trying to get me a seat." I stood there while all of the groups boarded, waiting for my ticket. I was the last person given a ticket. By the time I finally got to board, all overhead space was taken, so I had to gate check my bag. And then someone had taken the seat I was given, so I had to ask him to move, and he started crying (child). He cried for 20 minutes, so that was fun. Also, this was a red eye - I really wanted to sleep, but right as I was dozing off, the flight attendants turned on the lights for drink service. Overall, just a really poor experience and very hard to sleep."

There was no food or snacks served but the crew did offer free drinks: oj, tea, water, or soda. if you can upgrade to economy plus it's definitely worth it. Spend the money for it. You will have more leg room for sure."

Cons: "Well, the tray tables were about 5in x 8in and didn't slide forward, rendering it useless for basically anything. A laptop wouldn't fit anyway, but since it didn't slide out, the screen would have been tilted too far forward to properly see it as it was up against the seat and it was too unstable not to also hold my laptop while I sat there. With significantly less leg room than I've previously experienced on an economy class flight, laying down on the tray table to sleep was also impossible. When I first got on the plane, the air conditioner started and rather than feeling comfortable and less sweaty and gross, I just began to smell stale air that I was almost convinced was carbon monoxide as I was flying from Seattle and there had been smoke all around Washington due to forest fires. It was horribly uncomfortable and annoying even for sitting in coach. And I wasn't on an older or smaller airplane where I'd expect a little less concern for comfort, it seemed like it was very modern and it was a very large place. Leg room could have easily been increased by losing one to two rows of seats (seats that would most likely be empty anyway I might add). Airplanes tend not to be the most comfortable mode of travel anyway, but I would say this was the worst one."

THEN I found out they charge me for a seat... on the flight I already paid for. Boarding was disorganized, seats were thin padding on plastic, quite uncomfortable. I also had to clean crumbs and trash off my seat before settling in. They charge you 2.99 each for water and airline peanuts; i didn't partake. they only gave me one boarding pass and when I boarded the plane, they said that is was the flight to Denver and then they were continuing on to Columbus. I assumed this meant I stayed on the plane when we landed in Denver, but no, they informed me the plane was then going to Cedar Rapids. I had no second boarding pass or gate number, so I asked the attendant. She took forever to help me, looking up my info for a minute and then talking to the other attendants and passing out papers to the boarding crew before acknowledging me again. Twenty minutes later, I had my gate, which I barely made to board in time for flight takeoff. Overall, the process was stressful, uncomfortable, and more expensive than if I had purchased a flight from Delta, Southwest, or Alaska. (All airlines I have flown and been happy with. Delta had a missed layover once and completely put me up for the night and was very helpful through the whole affair.) All said and done, I will not be flying Frontier again."

There was confusion about the seats as we boarded, which we did by zones, but still had aisle traffic which defeated the purpose. My connection was moved to another gate and they failed to announce it ( yes it was on the screen, but I don't travel that often and was lucky to notice it just as we were boarding... luckily just a few minutes walk away ). The plane offers no entertainment at all ( which is fine for me, but worth knowing... bring a dvd player or something for long trips )."

Ladies were accommodating when asked to change my seat from a middle to an aisle which was nice as I wasn't given the option to pick my seat while purchasing but when I arrived to my seat a grandmother was sitting with her grandchildren. I of course was not going to ask anyone to move, so I was ushered off to the next available seat. Was happy to let a family sit together but was not please with the lack of profession to begin with."

We stood in line for 3 hours to get a refund. (we decided to go with another airline, some people had been stranded for a week!) One sad items was a soldier had been on deployment for TWO years and was trying to get home. He had been stranded since Friday (it was now Monday). The agent just shrugged and said get in line. Frontier should have booked him on another airline! Finally, a lady in line heard of his plight and bought him a ticket right there on the spot! (on another airline of course). SHAME ON FRONTIER. We will NOT fly them again! #NEVERFLYFRONTIER"

It took us so long to recover it that our quick weekend getaway was cut in half because we spent our first day there trying to recover our bag. When calling all the numbers that had been given to us by Frontier staff all the customer service reps were notable to help us and seemed unwilling to even try. Very disappointing."
Pros: "Lights turned off at night, not a lot of announcements to disturb sleeping passengers. Plane was clean. Crew seemed fine enough."
Cons: "To begin with, a three-hour delay on what was already just a four-hour flight, and no steps made to even offer snacks or discounts or other amenities to apologize for the gross delay. Very uncomfortable seats; even dead tired, I could not get much sleep. I usually use the food tray as a place to rest my head, but it was far too small to use for that. Upon landing, another 45 minutes of delay as we waited for our gate to become free, and again, no measures taken to apologize or make us as customers feel like they wanted us to feel even a little bit better about the situation. I get that it's a cheap flight option, but even so, the company needs to take more responsibility for its internal problems."
Cons: "Got to the airport 2 hours early to check in. The kiosk told me to see an attebdant. No attendants were at the Frontier desk. The nearest employees (jetblue) told me yesterday that the Frontier employees never showed up and that people missed their flights. My flight along with several other people who were waiting as well, seemed to have either been cancelled without alerting us. My confirmation number didn't register on the kiosk a half hour after I originally tried it. No employees ever arrived to the desk. Having to go to United to buy another ticket. I would expect either a full refund or a travel voucher in replacement. I paid 300 dollars and had to arrive 6 hours later than originally planned. As I live three hours from the Denver airport, this will get me home at 1 am. I have to be at work tomorrow at 7am. I will never fly frontier again."

Cons: "Tried to cancel this flight using the flight insurance I was up sold during checkout. Turns out that the flight insurance was only available for international flights? When I ask the agent why it was the recommended during purchase, she said I should have read the full terms and conditions during checkout. To me, this was a true scam. She told me that I could appeal the conditions of the travel insurance, but I would have to present a death certificate of the friend's baby that had just passed - the reason the baby shower was cancelled, and the reason this trip was cancelled. It was appalling. I tried calling Frontier directly, but their reservation desk was closed due to their system being down. HOURS I tried to call, and could not get a rep. I ended up not able to cancel the flight or even speak w a Frontier rep before my flight departed. In all, I was given 6 different numbers or lines to call to sort through this situation. All I did was waste hours of my time. This was a terrible situation where I feel like I was the victim of a scam."
Cons: "It is very clear that Frontier is a budget airline that prioritizes money over people. Right down to the unnecessary announcement that you may not drink your own 'minis' but are required to purchase their liquor (at ridiculously inflated prices). The pretty girls who approached us and offered perks...for a price as we queued for more than an hour simply to check in, made me feel even more like faceless animal prey with dollars in my pockets. I will not fly Frontier again, no matter how 'cheap' their tickets."
Pros: "Well, this flight was a disaster. It already was a redeye as we were going to get into Chicago at 5:00am. But then our flight got delayed 3 hours in Seattle due to "technical difficulties" and we didn't touch down in Chicago until 7:45....then you know what happens? The flight doesn't have a gate because we were so late, and thus we had to wait in the plane for another 45 minutes. It was at this point frontier emailed me a voucher, which I was fine with....but then getting my luggage (which you have to pay extra for to be checked in) was shredded entirely on its side, as if they had dragged it on its side. Nice service."
Pros: "The flight crew, and the view out the plane. I did enjoy the minimalistic seat design, which probably allows for more people per plane."
Cons: "The hidden fees, frontier wanting you to pay to pick your seat location after already purchasing the ticket. That is really lame. No complementary beverage (not even water) or snack on 3 hour flight... also lame. Frontier claims to be affordable airfare but has you pay for way more than just the plane ticket after the fact. I opted to not pay to pick seat location and was able to still sit next to my friend but I bet there are a good amount of people who have a family and feel pressured to spend way more money to pick seats so they are not separated. Just makes frontier seem like a money hungry company that cares more about money than it's customers. The flight home (Denver to Seattle) was an hour and a half late, which sucks, but whatever life happens. I didn't really like the airbus plane that made weird plane noises, why do you not use Boeing planes?"

Cons: "Two of the three flight attendants were a little obnoxious. Before we took off, the female African American attendant openly said that people weren't listening to her about stowing carry on bags and said "this is like dealing with a bunch of 2-yr olds" uncalled for in my opinion. The only male attendant was insincere on his announcements and it's the first time I've ever flown (hundreds before) where on two occasions he asked for people to clean up after themselves. Also the lines at the sole checkin desk in Seattle was too long. Should have had more than one person checking people in. I'd not recommend this airline if I was asked today what my opinion was."

Cons: "Terribly uncomfortable seating -- the worst I've ever experienced; horrible baggage charges for carry-on and checked, both -- and lack of straight-forward discussion of fees which are, at the very least, semi-hidden; the only time since People's Express that I've not been offered a soft drink or juice w/out a charge. Terrible baggage handling and lack of assistance and information regarding the extreme lateness of checked bags being produced for the entire flight at baggage claim. Will not fly Frontier again unless assured of corrections to all of these problems."

Cons: "I have never been charged $40 for a carry on. I suppose I missed some fine print about that, however it seems absolutely rediculous. The airplane seats feel more like bus seats. They do not recline and are missing a head rest or anything resembling a cushion. The airlines seems to gouge you for anything they possibly can. Even their bitter airplane coffee costs $2. I am actually surprised I wasn't charged for bringing on a jacket. I almost had to switch flights and after speaking on the phone with one of their representatives found out that if they do that over the phone there is a $50 service charge (for speaking to someone on the phone) on top of the $100 change fee and decided against it. I will absolutely never fly Frontier again. There are many other low cost options that include basic amenities like normal seats and free carry on luggage. Seriously, don't fly Frontier."

Staff shows up late then has to log on to computers and get ready. Once we check bags, lines are so long at security we are diverted to different gates. Worst airline I have ever used."
Pros: "It's Frontier, the low-cost, no-frills option. You pay for everything extra, including a carry-on and in-flight beverages, the seats are "pre-reclined for your comfort", and the plane was 30 min late. But the flight was dirt cheap, so if none of that bothers you..."

Cons: "First leg of our trip was delayed so we could not make our connection. We were told they could fly us to Denver and catch other flight home 3 days later or completely rebook to the next closest city. (They do not partner with anyone so you are stuck with their flights) Which we then needed to book a hotel, cab fares to the megabus station, then cab fares back to our original destination. Once arriving, and even though we checked in hours before our flight, our baggage was missing along with about 10 other passengers. Frontier had no one at their baggage service when we arrived. So I had the drive 2 hours back the next day. Called the help line. The person was rude and began getting loud with me, even though they are the ones that lost our bags. 90% of all the customer service people we encountered were extremely rude and would not help. Nor were they very accommodating for all their mess ups. For all our troubles, the rude "customer service" people, and out additional hundreds of dollars; Frontier sent us a coupon for a whooping $50 to use on their airline. No thanks, will never fly this airline again."

Cons: "This airline is deceptive from the get go. Their seemingly "low fares" are quickly offset by their outrageous fees for baggage and carry-ons and everything else. $35 to $40 for a carry-on, or checked baggage, and even if you pay the money to bring a carry-on, there is an additional $40 fee to store it in the overhead bin! Another catch is if you do not pay for all these fees before arriving at the airport, Frontier may charge you $60 at the airport. None of these charges are evident when initially booking the flight online but only when checking in. I called the airline to voice my disbelief over these fees and was treated very coldly and was told that Frontier is an "a la carte" airline. On the ground, my flight was almost an hour late though the reader board continually boasted of the flight being "on time." (My wife and I barely made our connecting flight in Denver). Ground crew in Seattle were not personable in the least. Many folks around us were equally put off by all the up-charges they were being told about. On board you will discover the seats are hard plastic with little cushioning and do not even recline. Forget about wi-fi or charging your phone or laptop. Non-alcoholic drinks $2. I jokingly asked if I put my coat in the overhead, would be charged $40? Crew member did not appreciate the humor. Everyone else did. Perhaps if you are a college student traveling with a small backpack (i.e, a "personal item") and don't care about comfort to save a buck, you might be happy with Frontier, However, for the rest of us, this kind outfit is a joke. I will never use recommend much less us this airline again. Do yourself a favor and book your next flight on a reputable airline."

Cons: "It is insane how terrible Frontier has become. They were the first airline, and used to be the only airline I would fly. They now are gimmicky, money pinching, and obviously have no care for their customers. I will never fly Frontier again, not just because of these concerns, but also because these concerns lead me to worry about who they hire to fly the plane. I would imagine if they care so little as to not have a person there to check bags in, that they probably would also save a couple bucks to pay an inexperinced flight captain, who could make a deadly mistake. I arrived at SeaTac airport early with my girlfriend so that we could eat before her flight together at a real restaurant that is after security. Nobody was there to check me in. Luckily all of my liquids were under the limit. So decided to check my bag at the door, the first go it turns out frontier is the only airline you can't use your phone to scan your ticket at security. BOGUS! I kissed my girlfriend goodbye and went to print out a ticket. I then went througb security AGAIN and was taken aside for additional screening for things in my check bag that i SHOULD NOT have had on me would Frontier had the decency to pay someone $10/hour to be at the front. My baby powder got yellow flagged at this additional screening and i had to be patted down, empty out all my bags and sit as I has humuliated by the TSA as they thoroughly looked through and checked all of my footwear and electronics for explosives. This took an additional half hour. I then missed lunch with my girlfriend completely, as she had to get on her flight. The lady checking me in was nice enough and took care of the checked bag issue as it was obvious from her reaction that this happens all the time. Frontier then while on the flight does a 3 minute gimmiky talk about buying their credit card, everyone made fun of it. Just insane, did a bunch of used car salesmen buy Frontier? It sure seems like it. I will never fly Frontier and will urge all the people I know to do the same."

Cons: "Many years ago, I was an Early Rewards member who flew Frontier any time I could. No longer. The ticket price no longer resembles what you will pay. Now they charge $15-35 to get a seat,another $30-$35 to check or carry on each piece, and sit in uncomfortable seats that do not recline. These extra charges cause long delay at the check in counter even if I already checked in and only needed to check a bag because everyone else had to pay. Now I'll only fly Frontier if there is no alternative."

I spent an additional $156 above the ticket price for my wife and I to attend a funeral. That came out to $45 "savings" than flying on a major airlines would have cost. I will gladly pay the additional $45 next time and have a better experience on an airline that it still trying."

Seats are increasingly uncomfortable, cramped and added with premium charges. Finally, the travel experience should be a pleasant and memorable one, considering the time strapped in a seat. Its OK to have Coach & Premium seating, but stop adding "option pricing" for an increasingly poor experience. I will not fly Frontier again."
