I loved the personalities of the crew and pilot; they were very warm and I felt as though they were comfortable being themselves. We arrived 1.5 Hours early to our destination which was great except there was no gate for us when we arrived..which brings me to my qualm..

We were on the plane for 2.5 Hours waiting to be assigned to a gate, which was very frustrating.

Nothing redemptive was done by Spirit or the staff.

The flight was canceled after being moved forward and then delayed. Spirit personnel at the desk didn't know the flight was even canceled and then, when they freceived the update, finally offered either the next flight out or a refund. However, no vouchers were offered even though the next flight out was a full day later so hotels and meals were at a loss to all customers, in addition to the full day delay in travel plans. I also never received an email notification of the cancellation and only received the flight delay email an hour after I received a gate change notification that had the flight time crossed out.

I am used to flying Frontier because of cost but recently traveled Delta and boy did I feel completely spoiled! Not only did my other half get our bags for free due to his status with Delta but the amenities they offer and the comfort of the economy seats compared to other airlines is a major difference. As a chronic pain patient, if I can find a Delta flight for a little more, I will be booking with them for sure! Highly recommend them!

Jetblue people were nice.

Thomas cook people at JFK DID NOT WAIT FOR US. WE GOT TO TICKETING AT 9:05 pm and was informed that they left at 9 pm our connecting flight was at 10pm. But we did not have a boarding pass. If you are going to provide these flights with Jetblue and Thomas Cook there needs to be better communication between the two and we should've had our boarding passes in Charleston before we began this trip. Now we are stuck in New York until Saturday night

I got there safely.

I will never fly American Airlines again. From the moment I checked in with the ticket agent to getting off the plane it was a disaster. The ticket agent was rude, hostile, and dismissive. Employees walked through the line at security forcing everyone to consolidate their belongings to one bag. I had a large wallet in my hand and was told I had to step out of line to put it in my backpack. They only allow you one bag to carry on without paying extra. At the time of boarding they announced that the overhead storage was full so even those that paid extra were still forced to check their bags. The plane was dirty, the service was slow, overall just gross. They don’t have WiFi or in flight entertainment so I paid the $20 to purchase the WiFi. It was worthless. I couldn’t stream anything, even music kept stopping to buffer. I understand it will be slower then on ground WiFi, but it was impossible to watch anything and a complete waste of money.

The crew was very nice and helpful. They comped everyone the direct tv access as an apology for the delay, but I'd rather be comped wifi.

It ended up being a 5 hour delay. I would have been fine with it if they had told us up front that it was 5 hours, but instead it's 2 hours, then after an hour passes they tack on another hour and so on. It would be nice just to know it'll be a long wait, so we can leave and come back or reschedule our flight for the next day.

The flight crew from Newark To Myrtle were outstanding. They were a fun bunch and made the flight very pleasant.

Flight was delayed due to high winds. This was of no fault of Spirit Airlines. Seats very narrow and don't recline. no complimentary drink and /or snack. You had to pay for it.

Crew was not welcoming, seating was very tight, we boarded late and if you cant carry a purse and a carry on because you will be charged $45 online. $55 at the airport or $100 at the gate. Fees for this airline are insane!

Upon checkin at the spirit counter - I was told the flight was delayed by approx. 45 min. called my son and we went for lunch this was all at 12:30 the check in - then we had gotten back early and guess what - the plane was boarding - had I not come back from lunch by 2 pm - I would have missed my flight! Also, I had a carry on bag of 18" and was told I had to check it. AND charged an additional 50. each way. AND I will not even get into the landing at LaGuardia - what a disaster that place is. I hope Elite comes back to Islip... Now, I'm supposed to fly out again on Dec. 15 - and haven't received my confirmation from Spirit as of yet!

We had issues with baggage. Delta was supposed to transfer 4 bags to Disney for Magic Express transportation. Only 3 went. Disney tried hard to fix problem, and even gave us something to ameliorate the situation. Delta took hard line, wasn't helpful and gave nothing. It took 2 days to find bag.
