Pros: "The crew was great. However I have had issues with take offs and landings with Alaska the last two times I’ve flown with them. Literally have been stuck for more than an hour on the tarmac both times."

All in all Alaska is great to take care of their passengers the way they did. They seemed to go the extra mile on both my flights."

I can understand cutting off the use of them once the flight crew is seated but they were still walking around and I really had to go. I don't recall a warning for this. If there was an announcement it was not audible over the hum of the engine. I'm very dissatisfied about that final part of my experience."

Cons: "Being between two big men, I felt squished in the middle, so I don't know if the seats are smaller than other airlines, or just my situation, but sleeping was pretty much out of the question, as I could barely move."

There were complications with my flights boarding in spokane and my secondary flight was changed without my consent to one that boarded at the same time as my first flight let me out on the opposite side of the massivr layover airport. It was only because an employee saw my struggle and confusion and hooked me up with a ride that I even made the flight dispite delta's best efforts. My TV's headphone jack on my first flight was also busted which sucked to find out after buying headphones on the flight. About halfway through the flight one of the attendants moved me to a seat with a working TV. Long story short Delta as an airline was terrible but their employees did their best to help me with what limited options they had to work with.

Flight attendants were crabby, otherwise everything was fine. I flew British Airways a few months ago. Night and day. Seriously. Delta does not even approach having good service. There was no comparison to British Air--- Delta is not in the same league."

It just didn't feel safe. Landing scared me a little too as I have landed in O'Hare countless times and have never flown so low to the highway upon entry. It felt like we were only a couple hundred feet above the cars."

The Flight was also delayed but it was never explained why despite dozens of questions from passengers. This caused a missed connection flight and forced us to stay overnight in Chicago with nothing but a $12 food voucher. When we tried t ask what other options were, American Airlines personal offered no sympathy and said the best we would get is the food vouchers and we should be grateful. No other travel reimbursement or vouchers were offered other than a replacement flight. Overall it was a huge inconvenience and caused numerous other expenditures for us."

Cons: "When I purchased my tickets, American decided it would be reasonable to separate my husband, our 1 year old daughter, and myself which I was notified of only when I asked the customer service agent over the phone prior to our flight. She explained that she was unable to do anything about it. I then called American during my trip and spoke with another agent who said it was out of her hands as well and to take it up with an agent at the desk at the airport. When I checked in online, I was able to change our seats myself which was nothing that either agent even suggested. The lack of ability of these agents on the phone to help two parents traveling internationally with a toddler was unbelievable. American has terrible customer service."

Cons: "I was told I would be able to choose the seats only 24 hours before the flight by going online. I tried to choose the seats online but could not have access to the site. I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

She was not interested in going around and asking for refills - when I inquired about it at dessert time, she didn't come back for 15 minutes and I had to ring the call button - she informed me they didn't have my drink of choice, so it was OK for her not to come back and tell me that. Service was terrible in First Class. American should seriously do something about that."

AA cancelled my flight out of PGV, a better seat would have been nice since I had to drive an hour to EWN whereas I was staying only 10 mins from PGV."

When we got to the airport and checked in they did not put me and my traveling partner together meaning they didn't see them together not to mention. Our flight was delayed and we only have 4 minutes to get from gate a to gate. We got to the gate collected our boarding passes found out we were seated at the very very very back of the plane right next to the restrooms.........NICE"

Upon reaching altitude, the plane made record time. 50 minutes was cut down to under 30 from take-off to landing. The attendant was barely on the last row (a charter plane) from serving drinks, before the cart had to be put away for landing."

I legitimately could not stand up (so I had to sort of slouch walk down the aisle to find my seat at the back of the plane), then the seats themselves were so narrow that I ached terribly when seated in any position for more than acouple of minutes."

The United employee seemed put off when we let her know my wife & I wanted to check out two carry on bags. After my wife had her bag checked the United Employee looked at me & said “let me have it” while pointing at my right side that was holding my back pack & ticket. I misunderstood because I replied “I am not checking my backpack, only my suitcase.” The United employee said “no, your ticket” which caused an awkward silence of confusion & everyone surrounding us to look at me like I had said something wrong when in fact it was then United employee that was unclear with her words. I handed her my ticket & the other United employee proceeded to tag my wife’s suitcase but not mine looking at me like I was crazy for offering mine up. Out of further embarrassment & frustration I ended up carrying my suitcase on the plane. The seats on the plane felt like I was sitting against a piece of plywood. If I could give comfort zero stars I would. Terrible customer service & terrible comfort."

Time travel, my flight kept being delayed

However, the "lawn chair" (for lack of a better term) seating does not give a sleek, modern look; more of a cheap (and uncomfortable) one. This flight was about 2 hrs, and I couldn't sit in those seats much longer. As for the food/drinks comments, as many other travelers have noted, my suggestion is to either go back to the old school program of no-charge can of soda and small bag of pretzels, or don't even have a drink cart.....you're just making people mad in an, already, stressful environment for most."

My husband and I both agreed we will never fly frontier again, and would offer our negative opinions to anyone who chose to fly this airline. After arriving for out flight 7 hours early, we were told that we should have checked our email because the flight was cancelled. That was false. The flight was marked delayed and was not cancelled until later. We were then told that we should expect our flight to be cancelled even though nothing was official yet. Seemed unprofessional. We were told there was no manager to speak to but we could get out mere $285 back and had to find another flight from LAX to orlando (which ended up being very expensive through another airline so last minute). We were livid that we no one seemed to know initially if the flight was cancelled or just delayed. However, when we finally found another flight for the morning, we returned to the frontier gate to get our money back. While waiting in line to speak to a manager who was useless and no help at all, we met other couples who had already been through security where they waited at a gate and could not find one single Frontier employee to speak to about a different delayed flight. When they finally got fed up with all of the delays, they had to return to the outside of security to get to the check in counter to even be able to find a human who works for Frontier they could speak to. When my husband and I initially booked these tickets through Frontier, I told my sister about the great deal we found and laughed!! Then she explained that she wished my the best of luck but Frontier was "the worst airline and they cancelled flights all the time." My husband is an active duty pilot for the Air Force and we lost a day of his leave because this ridiculous airline could do nothing to help us except give us our money back (which amounted to nothing) or send us on a flight two days later...which I'm sure was cancelled too. It was most upsetting to be an active duty officer and wife on leave, trying to get home to our families for christmas and working with Frontier employees who seemed to care less than anyone we've ever met. Nothing was done to accomodate us or other passengers. Additionally, the flight from LAX to Orlando was cancelled due to weather. However, every single other airline was flying LAX to Orlando without any weather complications. Frontier should be responsible for supplying some proof of weather issues that is backed by professional opinions. We had to spend our own money to stay in a hotel that night because of an airline that chose to use the weather excuse when no other airline did. We now feel a moral responsibility to warn against this airline. No airline that has doesn't maintain ticket reciprocity with other airlines should be able to leave people stranded the night of a flight to spend an inordinate amount of money on another last-minute flight and hotel. We have zero respect for Frontier!"
