All the international flights departing and arriving in Guangzhou were ferried by bu. It's very inconsiderate for customer with luggages. Customer service representative was unhelpful at lost and found and at the airport terminal. It's always another department's problem.

The movies weren't working. They served one glass of wine. The stewardesses didn't seem to be interested in any issues.

The Denpasar Airport had been closed for days due to Ash/Volcano Agung, so luckily our Flight departed as planned, and on time. Was easily re-assigned a new seat (middle to aisle) at the gate. The staff was attentive and courteous.
We had a roundtrip ticket from Denpasar to Bali. We were in Thailand when Bali's Mount Agung erupted and called Cathay Pacific requesting our fees be waived to change our return flight from Denpasar, Hong Kong, Newark to Bangkok-Hong Kong-Newark. Cathay Pacific said the fee to change our flight is $350, and plus the difference in the new ticket price. That option was very expensive. We were very stressed about returning to Bali due to the High Alert warnings. The Denpasar Airport was closed for days -- and our request was not unreasonable.

For two hours flight food was adequate
it waa just too an old plane. too noisy. dusty. even air preasure was not controlled good enough
The vegetarian/vegan meals were very good for airline food. There was a great selection of entertainment options.
One of the flight attendants who was assigned to my section, her name was Rain, was incredibly rude. Every time I asked her for a glass of water, she would sigh heavily and tell me to wait. Eventually, she stopped serving me all together and I needed to leave my seat and ask other crew members to serve my food. She was completely unprofessional and she made it clear she didn't like me, despite the fact that I was always going out of my way to be courteous. At one point, she walked down the aisle and stepped directly onto my foot, which was NOT in the aisle but under the seat in front of me. She didn't even acknowledge that she had stepped on my foot and kept walking. For a 14-hour flight, I was really bothered by her lack of professionalism. I will have to think twice before I book Cathay Pacific again.
