Students with an F-1 or M-1 visa and their F-2 and M-2 dependents, if they arrive from or have been in Ireland, the UK or Schengen Area in the past 14 days.
All travelers, 2 years of age or older (including US citizens and transit passenger) must present a negative COVID-19 viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure or have a proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days prior to boarding the plane.
Travelers must complete a disclosure and attestation form before departure.
Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
Travelers arriving in New York State must complete the Traveler Health Form.
Travelers arriving in Massachusetts must complete the Massachusetts Health Form.
Travelers are advised to get tested 3-5 days after travel and stay home and self-quarantine for 7 days after travel. Even if they test negative, they must still stay home and self-quarantine for the full 7 days. If the test is positive, isolate to protect others from getting infected.

Cons: "I booked KLM flights (Cork - Tampa return) but the planes were in fact Aer Lingus and Delta. So I have no idea what KLM is like. When I checked in at Cork the ground staff could only give me a boarding card for the first flight. For the second one she said I would have to go to the Delta counter in Amsterdam. It was difficult to find a counter there or staff as check-in was all by computer. The computer kept saying 'error' when I put in my code. I eventually was directed to a KLM desk (nicely hidden). I was told that my seat no longer existed. At this point the flight was ready to board. Thankfully the KLM ground staff were extremely helpful and reassuring and upgraded my ticket to economy comfort. On the way back, I could only get a boarding card for my first flight. The second two I had to collect at the boarding gate of the second flight."

As a military spouse I feel cheated to have had to pay when others checked in for free at the gate. Not cool United, either let the spouse check in for free or make everyone abide by the so-called rules of one carry on that actually fits into that metal baggage guide. I would like a refund of 50.00 for the baggage fees I paid for this trip."

Cons: "The flight was delayed due to weather, which is fine, the delay was 45 minutes, not a big deal....Here's the but...when it came to boarding time, they announced that it was not going to be boarding by zones and that everyone should just get on the plane. On top of what appeared to be a mass exodus, or perhaps something you'd see in a third world country, those people who paid more $$ to have carry on bags, in zone 1 and be able to board first were most certainly not feeling the value. The gate experience was not well organized or orchestrated. After getting off the plane, our daughter realized once in baggage claim that she left her backpack on the plane. Not being experienced in this area, we asked for help. A police officer told my wife to go to Frontier office, where there was no one in the office, someone else said have them paged. There was no white courtesy phone in the area that was operating, so she went to Southwest and asked if they could page someone to come to the Frontier office and they said no, walked to next terminal to find a working courtesy phone, paged someone to Frontier and within 5 minutes ,10 people showed up. Asked if someone could help. They radioed to the gate that a passenger left their bag. What the rep should have said was that they called the gate, hopefully someone locates and if they do, they will bring it here and we will check on it in a few minutes. The person didn't say a word, 5 minutes later my wife asked what happens now. After a nice sigh and eye roll, the Frontier rep says if they found, they bring it. My wife asked would it be possible to see if they found it instead of just waiting around here for bodies to appear. The bag was eventually found and returned but the experience was just now a good one to say the least."

My wife and I went to Tampa Airport trying to find any flight out due Hurricane Irma making landfall on Saturday. Frontier was the only airline closed!!!! Every other airline was open trying to get out as many passengers as they could!"

On the flight one of the bathrooms was so disgusting that I didn't even want to use it. When I told the flight attendant, they refused to do anything."

Cons: "I thought it would be cheaper but by the time you add the bag and food charges I am not sure that I saved much. No wireless so I could not work and had to take the day off- So I lost a day of PTO. My special needs granddaughter could not access her online games and was agitated and because there is 9 legroom, she disturbed people in front of us several times. Fortunately they were gracious."

Cons: "plane was broken down so we were told 2 hr. delay, then they had to drive the part from Orlando, now 4hr delay, then the part was delayed so they had to wait for the next flight to arrive, and a new flight crew 6hr. delay. They gave us a $7.00 food voucher and the children a balloon. No compensation for delay or the fact that there were no busses, trains or boats running in Boston at 2a.m. People had to try to get cabs or Ubers at a much higher expense. Will never take Spirit again."

Cons: "Greedy airline, want to charge you for everything!!! Suitcase, water, coffee, snacks, change of seat, etc. The plane was filthy with broken seats. The crew was unfriendly to the point of rude, not with me but other people."

Pros: "I liked that nothing else went wrong and that we weren't delayed beyond 5 hours without any explanation. At the rate things were going at, seemed very possible we'd be stuck there indefinitely."
Cons: "Not one explanation or excuse given. No communication beyond incessant emails every 20 minutes saying the delay was longer and longer. As a result, I missed an important job interview and lost my shot at my dream job. Thanks Spirit, for a most dispiriting experience."

MY FLIGHT WAS DELAYED OVER 5 HOURS then we sat on the tarmac as the pilot informed us they were having computer issues (30 more minutes). There is absolutely NO LEGROOM! I am 5'4" and my knees were hitting the seat in front of me. No tv or music either. It's like the Yugo of airlines. I would NOT recommend flying this airline EVER!"

Cons: "On a perfect-weather Florida day, when no other airline was experiencing any problems, we arrived at the airport two hours prior to our flight to find Spirit's status board COVERED with cancellation and delay notices. For the next for eight hours they told us the flight was delayed, delayed, delayed, then cancelled, then that we'd be put on another airline in probably less than an hour, just another hour or so, just be patient... annnnnnd here's your hotel voucher, please be back at six am for your new Delta flight. The clerk at the hotel, the hotel shuttle driver, the Delta counter attendant—all of them were full to the brim with Spirit stories. Every single one of them shot that slightly crooked sideways grin when they heard the word "Spirit," the one that says "I've heard it a million times, man." The airport crew in Tampa tried their best... which was terrible. One would think this was the first time they'd ever had a delay instead of it being an incredibly regular experience. For eight hours, we sat on the floor and watched dozens of alternate available flights trickle away while being told by Spirit's staff that they were "on it." The entire experience was horrible even before we got to the delay. Charges for checked bags AND carry-ons; charges for every seat— EVERY seat—on the plane; a charge even for a cup of soda (our flight to Florida was only delayed, not cancelled.) And I just finished talking to a Spirit phone rep about what should have been an automatic refund for the baggage and seat fees we were charged for the flight we never took."

Cons: "the flight was delayed again and again for over 18 hours even as other planes from other airlines took off around us. at one point we boarded the flight and sat 10 feet from the gate for over an hour before they returned us to thr gate and made us disembark. for another set of delays we were told that the person supposed to tow the plane had lost his access badge and another person had to drive in from home to do the work. other than this, the gate staff gave the passengers limited to no information. no amenities were provided to delayed passengers (no snacks, accommodations, etc). plus, the terminal had only one women's restroom with only two stalls, one of which was frequently out of toilet paper."
Pros: "I didn't fly I booked this ticket by mistake. Spirit has the worst customer service and wouldn't allow me to cancel."
Pros: "Dealing with the spirit air website was a stressful and disappointing experience. The site did not work on 3 different devices so we were forced to do t at the airport and pay the extra baggage fees. For the return flight we managed to check in online but it took trying different devices and then we had to create an account and give personal information in order to check in. It took an hour and was a very stressful way to end our vacation."

Cons: "Everything else. The crew seemed to be confused during boarding process so it was not efficient. The flight was overbooked and delayed and then when we finally arrived to Boston we had to sit on the tarmak for 20 minutes, during which time the crew did not allow passengers to use the restroom."
