She calls me panicking that the arrival time is now 8:15 and no one will tell her why there is a delay. I had to call JetBlue only to tell me "sorry, they have the wrong arrival time, he's almost there". Really?? Luckily she was planning based on my information, not theirs. If she had been 2hrs late picking him up, this would have been BAD."

When our tickets were bought, we had Jon instead of Jonathan. Without any sympathy whatsoever, we were passed around various reps and agents. No one cared to help us make a change and make it to our flight. As we left home (after 2 hours of being at the airport), we continued trying to make a correction over the phone. None of the phone representatives cared to help and kept on delaying and holding us on the phone. After 8 hours, we were told that it's going to cost over $2,500 to have try an evening flight. They ended up marking us as "no show" at the airport which wasn't true. We ended up going back online (on kayak) and purchased new tickets as this option was cheaper. This entire experience was awful. Please reach out if you need any other information."

And the seats feel smaller every time. I'm only 5'7" but my knees are against the seat in front of me. My husband is 6'8" and has no choice but to pay another crazy fee to have a couple more inches of space."

Cons: "The plane was to hot. There were lots of passengers complaing about the heat. We also had to wait on the runway to take off for 40 minutes. The course of the flight was also uncomfortable due to certain passengers that wouldn't cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing. I even offered the individual cough drops and they had denied them and continued hacking. Then when landing in Orlando we had to wait to be taken to our gate. We were told that we were supposed to go to gate 97 but there was an American Aircraft in that location so we had to wait for another gate for 20 minutes. I know those last 2 events aren't really under the control of Sun Country, but still it was a pain."

Before we bought the tickets, we were told to bring proof of the funeral we were attending to get a discount/refund for the airfare afterward, then on the return flight we were dismissed as fools for not presenting this info when we bought the ticket. How could we present info for something that had not yet taken place. The obituary didn't even hit the papers until 2 days after our original flight. Also - the MSP security harassed my 80-year-old mother & she is now having nightmares as a result. Sun Country could have done us a service by letting us know when we booked her flight as a senior that there were safeguards for her, but we were told nothing."

It was very stressful, and they didn't tell us that they would hold the flight, so we thought we were going to miss it. Not a good experience for our first time flying with Sun Country :("

Already frustrated, and with my knees hitting the seat in front of me because the seats are too close together, a flight attendant scolded me when I dared put my leg in the aisle (which I often do on other airlines without incident). Once on the ground, I went straight to United's baggage office to see if my bag had followed me, and encountered two of the rudest people, cutting me off whenever I said anything more than they needed to enter into their computer. If your job is in customer service, be friendly, apologize when things go wrong, understand that your customers are your reason for being in business, and be helpful."

And on top of that, no where during my booking was I even told that I had to pay to sit on this plane. I also didn't realize I had to pay for a carry-on bag but that I was told much sooner after my booking. When I went to check in for my flight the day before, I then learned to choose a seat I needed to pay as well. And if I didn't pay, what--standing room only on this plane? Pretty shyster-y. Next time, I'd rather pay the $95 upfront for an airline I've heard of, rather than be tricked and be on a poorly maintained plane."

Cons: "Frontier is a bait and switch operation. They offer discount fares and when you get to ticketing you discover that they charge $40 for checked bags and $45 for carry on bags!!! I can understand the checked baggage fee only if it was made known prior to purchase but charging more for carry on bags. Also, the staff at the ticketing counter are rude and obviously selected and trained to make sure that they get every penny of their ruthless money. I have flown my first and only flight with Frontier and will never do so again."

Pros: "The crew had an excellent sense of humor that helped with the not-so-great situation of being delayed for 4 hours."
Cons: "Since when did one have to PAY for a very light refreshment on a plane?! We had been in the airport with no food/beverage available because of the time and then not to be compensated even a little bit with a snack of any sort was just more than I could stand. My kids were hungry and thirsty and I was not going to use a credit card for cheese curls and a bottle of water. The interest alone would have been about the same as my mortgage payment! The seats on the plane do not lean back and there is hardly any cushion on them. It was uncomfortable and will make me rethink using Frontier airlines again."

Cons: "I didn't like that my flight was delayed both ways. I also don't like that I had to pay for a bag. I didn't see any notification of that when I booked and I think it's ridiculous that it's extra. Who travels without a bag? I'd rather pay upfront than get surprised at the counter."

Cons: "I was told in at check in, that I was not allowed to have my tiny purse AND a carry on bag, I had to put my purse in my bag, or be charged $45.00 there or $60.00 at the gate. Also, water was the only free beverage. On the way to Orlando no ice in my water. On the way back I did get ice.Free Pre-check is not available. Seats do not recline. Flight going to Orlando ran 1/2 hour or so late till we took off. Good price on ticket but till u add all the extra charges, same as other airlines. Probably will not use Frontier again. Sorry"

Cons: "Uncomfortable seats, unfriendly crew, delayed 2 hours and worst of all when people are sleeping on a red eye they wake you up at midnight to sell their credit cards. People had crying babies because all of the lights went on and woke everyone up at about 12:30 am!!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed over an hour, which happens but part of the reason was because the flight got overbooked... The staff taking care of boarding was rude. Carry on charges are a bit extreme."

Cons: "The speaker from the captain was so high/loud it felt like he was screaming at us, they did not handle the turbulence well, they made you pay for any form of refreshments, and I was just VERY not impressed. I fly on a consistent basis, so I have a very good foundation as to what to compare this to."

Cons: "My bags was left in Philly by them ... Then when I was calling to find out where was my bags nobody seemed to care !!!!!!! Then they said my bag would be on the next flight but it wasn't ... It was on the last flight that came to Orlando... Then they said they would drop it off but when I called back they said I have to pick it up ..... I paid 125$ for my 3 bags for this happen !!!!"

Pros: "Long Flight Delay Due to Weather, Strong Thunderstorms and Tornado warnings. Handled Delay well and boarded when appropriate."

Pros: "Left on time very in order and also even got here early plus pleasant workers best flight ive taken in years"

Cons: "My flight that was scheduled for 8:20pm was delayed until 12:40am. The flight just kept getting pushed back and back and back. Of course I wasn't made aware of the delay until after I was dropped off at the airport. No one was helpful and communication was awful. Once we finally boarded the plane, the crew wasn't even a little apologetic."

And on top of that, no where during my booking was I even told that I had to pay to sit on this plane. I also didn't realize I had to pay for a carry-on bag but that I was told much sooner after my booking. When I went to check in for my flight the day before, I then learned to choose a seat I needed to pay as well. And if I didn't pay, what--standing room only on this plane? Pretty shyster-y. Next time, I'd rather pay the $95 upfront for an airline I've heard of, rather than be tricked and be on a poorly maintained plane."

The customer support rep was not from the US and told me at least five times, after dumping me on hold, that I would have to buy a new ticket. Despite telling him that was fine all I wanted was to get home he would put me back on hold for another five minutes and return insisting I needed to buy a ticket. After he figured out what I was saying he had no idea of available airports. I hung up and got a flight on Delta."

Pros: "As I had previously interacted with these type of cheap ticket but pay for everything else airlines I knew what to expect. They cram as many ppl into a no frills plane and that keeps overhead down. Now that I'm done venting, I must say... This trip was pleasant all the way around. Found a great deal on kayak, flight crew was pleasant and the pilot kept the passengers in the loop at all times. Since I know what to do with these types of airlines they work great for a quick trip without luggage."

I will probably be seek another airline in the future."

Pros: "Base price. Plane seemed newer and was clean."
Cons: "Staff was a bit rude. Tray table was comically small though with absolutely no complimentary food or drink I suppose it doesn't matter. Extremely thin padding on seats making them quite uncomfortable. While the base fee is low, once you factor in all of the fees for check bags, carry on bags, snacks or a drink while on-board, and paying to guarantee you have seats together, you might as well just fly Southwest because Frontier will likely be no cheaper or just barely."

When I got off the plane, no helper waiting. A fellow passenger kindly pushed my wheelchair to baggage claim. Will check tomorrow to see if Spirit is in violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act."

Cons: "I bought with several weeks my ticket and when I arrived to the airport I didn’t have a seat and they told me that they downgrade the plane and the solution that they will pay for my hotel room for a day and next day I’ll fly at 4. I was a very important meeting that they and couldn’t afford to lose one day un NYC. I bought in Jet Blue last minute ticket that cost me $us 370!"

Cons: "When we called about taking a small bag which was very small, I was told that my purse Had to go into my small carry on. Or I had to pay. When I called the airlines at first the cost was 40.00 and later on in the evening it was $90.00 . Plus it was someone we couldn't understand. We ask ti be transferded to some one in America., but was told lines were busy. So I just took my wallet . I was only gone over the week end . I was very disappointed in all the charges.i would think a small purse would be ok."

Cons: "The staff was rude from the gate to some of the flight attendants not all. Poor customer service skills. The 2 ladies at the gate let me stand there for 5 minutes and never asked what I needed. One finally came over rolled her eyes and told me I needed to sit down. I told her no because the flight was boarding and she told me standby needs to sit down and wait . However, I had a boarding pass and simply needed a seat assignment and when I said this she sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes again and took my boarding pass. Extremely rude. Inside an attendant proudly walked down the aisle saying "ugh what's wrong with you people and these phones these days." Then proceeded to get on the intercoms and say "I will have them take the plane back to the gate if you just can't be compliant." Were we on a school bus full of children going on a field trip? How about you explain the reasoning and importance behind needing to turn off cell phones and stop use and maybe you'll have more compliance than getting on the intercom and threatening the customers. I have never been on a flight like that and after my flight back home I never will again. Cheap flights or not it was just AWFUL."

Cons: "I was unable to board the flight due to being held back by TSA. After making it to the gate I was told my bags were already on the plane and could not be resent to my address and I could not be refunded for my flight or the cost of my bags. I am very dissatisfied with the service of spirit airlines and will no be flying with spirit in the future."

Pros: "Our flight left NY at 2pm on 29th and due to weather issues was diverted to Kansas city instead of TX. Many other flights where also diverted, which all halted for few hours and left to final destination Dallas except for us. They made us sit in the flight from 5pm to 11pm and cancled the flight. No food was given , no water & there where kids on the flight who stayed hungry. Horrible service and staff had the worth attitude."

Cons: "There was turbulence throughout the flight. The pilots and the flight attendants announced that we should stay in our seats. People were in the aisles at all times. Several times they were thrown off balance. The fight attendants paid no attention to this they were so busy chit chatting in their area at the front of the plane. We were asked to stay in our seats for passenger safety. Total oblivion was exhibited. For this reason I will never fly on this airline again."

I had to call customer service in order to arrange another flight! It was the worst experience that I have ever had with any airline ever the staff was horrible!"

Delayed for 4.5 hours and lied to about cause of delay. Discrepancy between what boarding agent said and what customer service said. Threatened by boarding agent that flight would be cancelled if passengers didn't board quickly despite presence of infants and infirmed. Confusing announcements by boarding agents who would mix up information for up to four different flights scheduled for departure from same gate. First and last time I fly Spirit. Apparently this review process is pointless since Spirit can opt not to post if it so chooses. Pathetic business practice on par for a pathetic airline. Will engage in a social media campaign against this airline."

Cons: "I arrived like 45 minuted before the depature in Dallas airport. It took some time to find a registering kiosk but it didn't let me to register. Lady offered me to take a tomorrow flight instead and she refused to get registered for my flight. I would classify it as a poor service and attitude since check in takes 3 min, security check for local flights takes 5 min. And a train to terminal 5 min. She just said that i wont make it. Had to buy a ticket from a different company."

Cons: "I had a 6 am flight. At 5 am we were told that it would be delayed until 10:30. At 8 we were told it would be delayed until 11:30. At 11:20 they announce that our plane landed and just needed to unload and get cleaned and we could start boarding shortly. Two minutes claret we were told the flight was cancelled. They told us everyone would fit on the 3:49 flight that would arrive in Orlando at 4:10. By that time I was tired of waiting and just wanted to get to Orlando so I asked to get on the flight to Tampa that was leaving at 12:15. The airline wouldn't get me a flight that was with delta that would have leaf at 6:55. They only offered a seat on one of their later flights, a refund, or a $7 meal voucher. That meal voucher wasn't even enough to cover the cost of a bagel and coffee. Also when I purchased the ticket it didn't say anything about paying for a carry-on bag. When I got to the airport I found out I had to pay $55 to take my carry-on. This was my worst flight experience."

Cons: "Cancelled with only 2 hours prior notice. Although I got a refund but no way I could buy another ticket to go to Chicago to catch the connecting flight to Hong Kong. I ended up buying a new ticket directly from New York to Hong Kong, which cost me $800."

This company has too many hidden fees and those fees are not communicated ahead of time. Nothing is complimentary using this airline. I will never use this airline again. My experience was not good. I had to spend an additional $350 on a ticket to get to my destination. Spirit is a horrible airline and I will never book with them again in life"

Cons: "Everything else. Zero customer service. No explanation as to why my flight was so delayed, no one took the time to genuinely apologize for wasting everyone's time. Staff seemed uninterested and didn't offer any consolation to their patrons. Even when on the plane, flight attendants didn't even offer complimentary water. Any other airline I have ever been on, flight attendants would try to appease patrons by offering beverages, snacks, vouchers. No such service was offered. Two patrons actually got in a heated argument while on the plane because everyone on the plane was extremely agitated. Every adult on the plane was consuming alcohol on the flight as a means to cope with how inconvenienced they were. Flight attendants did not even offer to interject. Everyone left the flight angry and promising themselves that they would never fly Spirit again. I hate knowing that I have to return to NYC via Spirit. Went to customer service and was given an email address so I could complain. I have never been treated this way before where even customer service doesn't offer anything but a disingenuous apology. I feel like even the staff members don't want to work for Spirit. I will never fly Spirit again. Worst flying experience I have ever had."
