Alaska, in my opinion, is one of the best airlines. I have flown them for 30+ years and watched them grow from a small NW carrier to the size they are today. Day-in, day-out they are very good.
I did not try their food or log in to the WiFi but the rest of the trip both ways was easy and most pleasant.
Staff on the flight were terse, bossy, and impatient with people on the plane.

Birding was slow. extremely slow; please do experiments on efficient plane boarding experiences; especially regarding passengers that pass their seat number…
I like not much people. Could tell the kids to be quiet.
Free WiFi was awesome. I hate the five hour delayed take off.. arrrgh!
Flight was on time departure & arrival. Staff was efficient & attentive. Food was better than normal. Wish they had some sort of entertainment screens loke Delta. I would fly Alaska again though.
Fight attendant excellent Food very good, not great Seats were stiff and uncomfortable Flight was overall very nice. Last three flights were burdened with miserably uncomfortable seats. Hard stiff no padding.
Boarding much smoother than previous United flights! The flight attendant helped monitor putting bags in overhead bins. On united no help resulted in bins in first class being filled before I boarded for first class. I had to search further down into economy. Then got stuck unable to return to my seat. People were putting backpacks that needed to go under seats in bins. It was a mess. This flight was a refreshing improvement. United also had so many categories of preboarding that first class could not board early. The pilot talked to us directly instead of using the intercom before flight.
I was very unhappy with the lack of communication from the cockpit. It took close to a half an hour before we took off after the doors were closed, and we got no announcements as to progress. It would be nice to get some acknowledgement of the situation and updates as to when we are taking off.
American Airlines is a great dependable airline, on time arrival and departure with polite crew and staff.
Delayed flight due to maintenance and I have had multiple delayed flights due to maintenance in the last month plus
Movies on my phone are great. It would be nice to have a gluten free snack option.
Seat bottom cushions are not good. I’m 165# & they hurt my butt. Plenty of legroom.
The airplane seats were spacious and comfortable, and the flight attendants were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious like never before. The blankets and toiletries were thoughtfully provided. The captain's navigation was steady and reliable. In short, having flown with Starlux, I won't consider any other airline next time.

My flight got delayed a total of five times. And the boarding gate changed four times. most of the time the platform was not up-to-date with the changes taking place. The most discouraging part of the entire trip by far.
Original flight was on time, then late, then changed gates...4 times. Once our newest plane came in, it was fine.
The seats need better cushioning for a nearly 5-hour flight, it was a bit uncomfortable. I'm glad American has free wi-fi but there were was a bout 30 minutes in the middle of the flight when there was no connection which was frustrating.
