Flight itself was fine.

Reykjavik Airport is a joke. Totally disorganized. Not enough seats to sit in and wait. Many passengers were sitting on the floor. Extremely long lines for people waiting to board their flights. Mass confusion. Food court required people to show their boarding passes in order to purchase food. People learned this after they got up to the cash register to pay for their food. Again, huge confusion. Ridiculous way to treat people.

Because the first flight was delayed I did not end of completing this leg of the trip with Air Canada but instead rode British Airways.

Captain kept us in a loop. Great crew.

Boarding was a mess. I really wish A/C would implement some sensible system. Had to delay departure to unload someone's bag. We made up the time only to loop around LHR for 25min.

Nothing much to complain about. For the section we were in, economy, the seats were pretty comfortable. Good space in front. Decent pitch. IFE was excellent. Staff were friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Good mix of younger and older staff. Food wasn’t bad. Cabin crew kept passengers up to date. Really can’t ask for anything more.

Well. Maybe one small thing. Airflow from vents above were a bit weak. I think the newer planes are like that as our next leg on a smaller A319 had quite the powerful vents.

Entertaintment system was good. I was happy with the selection of movies and last releases. No delays in flights which was a plus.

Food was terrible. Portions were small, we were given a KitKat for dessert. No side salad or anything. No headphones were given prior to the flight. Long haul flights should always provide these. Most of the flight wasn’t Lufthansa but Air Canada instead. This should be advertised properly as I had no idea.

Flights never leave on schedule and you’ll end up losing connection flight. Customer support has wait of 60 mins. Never ever flying again.

Worst airline ever. Surprise how is this company still in business.

The flight was three hours late!!!!!!! I had to get on and get off the plane with all my stuff. This has financial implications on the ground later that evening in Uber Cost and I had to pay for the additional day for my car because I was not able to pick it up at the originally scheduled time. I contacted United and have not heard ANYTHING!!!!! Please help me get my money back!!!

Only the flight itself.

The Reykjavik Airport is terribly disorganized. Not enough seats to sit in. People sitting on the floor waiting for their flights. Looked like conditions in a third world country. Long lines to wait for flights to leave and to buy food in the food court. An absolute zoo. MY FLIGHT TO KANSAS CITY WAS NOT EVEN ANNOUNCED. I noticed that people were walking up to the check in gate. I asked a couple of people if the KC flight was boarding. They said that they weren't sure, but they were going to check. It turns out that it was the KC flight, but it was NEVER ANNOUNCED. Horrible airport administration. No excuses for all the problems at this airport.

Would've appreciated more legroom, but the same can be said for just about any airline.

Aircraft was very comfortable and up to date

Both dinner and breakfast were so bad as to be a joke. Tasteless chicken on pasta with a miserable little salad for dinner. Breakfast far worse, the 'continental breakfast' being a slice of banana loaf or something similar in plastic film and a pathetically small yoghurt. Crew didn't even serve pour row coffee or tea, totally overlooked us. My next flight was with SAA to Johannesburg - infinitely better food and attitude. Not that I expect this eeview to make any imnpression on Air Canada. THey are beyond help and frankly I don't care as I won't fly with them again.

the good service at the check in and on the plane, or the great entertainment service, are all shadowed by Air Canada service for families with babies. We live in Vancouver and use frequently either Air canada or British Airways. We have a 1 year old baby, and on BA we automatically receive family seats for no extra charge, which have extra leg room and option for a bassinet. even with a 1 year old baby they have a special seat for that age, instead of a bassinet which fits only new born babies, so our 1 year old baby could sleep in a chair for hours on BA flight we just took from London to Tel Aviv. we got to London on a AC flight from Vancouver, where we weren't given family seats unless we paid more, so we had to spend 9.5 hours with a 1 YO baby at our lap, the baby of course was miserable, so we were miserable, but not just us, everyone in our vicinity had to suffer the baby's crying. On the BA flight the baby could sleep in a special chair for older babies, placed where usually a bassinet is placed, or sit on the floor next to our legs (because there's so much more leg room in the family seats), something the 1 YO babies need very much. I will recommend anyone with a baby to never fly with AC, especially when you have great alternatives like BA.

Okay 5.6

I decided to pay a little extra for preferred seating (exit row). However, I was stuck in the baby row. I would have been better off not paying extra and staying in my original seat. I have nothing against babies (the baby in my row was quiet), don't get me wrong! It's just that this should be pointed out at the time of selecting a seat and it was not clear on the AC website. The crew moved my carry on several rows back without telling me (I put my bag in first into the overhead bin and then had to chase it down when I needed something). Not acceptable!

Prices are per person and are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in USD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
