this was the THIRD time in four Alaska flights that were 2 hours late. Only one was due to weather. The intentionally posted each flight as only 1 hour and 55 minutes late so that they wouldn't have to give out vouchers. And then the flights all ended up more than 2 hours late. Makes United look like a premium carrier.
We sat on the tarmac for 25 minutes after landing and it caused me to miss a connecting flight. It turned a 7 hour travel day into a 14 hour travel day. That really sucked.
Alaska is usually amazing. This time was the exception. Something in the plane broke and had to be fixed. It happens, I get it. So instead of arriving home at 1030pm...I arrived at 3am. Needless to say it was a looooong night. Especially when I got to the airport at 430p for a 645 flight.
It was fine, mostly I was just happy to be on my last leg home. No in flight entertainment but that's forgivable since it was only a 2 hour flight.
The flight was fantastic. All the crew staff were wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and they went out of their way to help make it such an enjoyable flight! I think on such a long flight there should have been some food given. Even cheese and crackers and maybe some cookies!
Both of my planes were delayed which is less than ideal but it's alright, unsurprising with very small flights.
If the flight from Seattle to Eugene hadn’t been delayed for mechanical reasons we never would have made it. 45 minutes is not enough time to deplane and get clear across a big airport like SeaTac.
Was delayed in Newark 24 hours due to mechanical problems. The staff was very helpful in trying to make the best of a trying situation. In SeaTac, they changed gates and times. Usually have no problems from SeaTac.
Terrible. My flight was pushed out three times finally the fourth time it was canceled completely. They sent me to a hotel that would not accept the voucher. And I had to pay for my cab and Uber . I arrived at the airport at five and didn’t get into my hotel until 1145.
I still in San Francisco😡the flight has delay and lm not sure l can back to Seattle or not😡lm here from 7.30pm and still waiting😡 l never will use of Kayak.
Delayed 8 hours, This is the 2nd time in a month that my flight was not on time.
Do not fly on WestJet if you have a connection. It failed to integrate with my connecting Delta flight and I almost missed it.
The experience was good just the upcharge of over a hundred dollars was not cool.
Good, a bit cramped in the seat as my neighbour was a bit large
There was a man who was very rude at boarding. On the other hand personal bag measuring box is too small compared to USA airlines,
The process and flight were both smooth and trouble free
Delays and missed connections were very hard the crew were wonderful but 1 1/2 hours late from Abbotsford to a 4 hour wait in Calgary was too much. I am 79 years old and I didn’t get to my destination until after 1 in the morning. They could have offered a seat in the lounge or a meal. I was very disappointed in the treatment
everything was fine expect massive delays - not the airline’s fault
The checked luggage still hasn't arrived yet. 42 h later. We saw it being unloaded in the stopover location. It was. 5 hour layover so it wasn't a rushed transfer. One positive aspect, it was close to being on time and the crew that came on the clean the plane was very efficient.
Seat back entertainment monitors would be nice. We did enjoy the In-Flight WiFi.
I knew I was going to fall asleep unsettlingly from exhaustion so I warned the guy next to me in advance. The attendant took to checking on me frequently and even insisted I take my snack because I said no while sleep hazed and then absolutely wanted it about 5 minutes later. He was So caring and kind to my situation!!
All good great price seating very cramped but overall very good
The experience was satisfactory. The plane was full and took awhile to embark and disembark. On a 4 hour flight, there is not much you can do. my return flight was in the very last row on the plane but was adequate.
Overall great. The crews were lovely. The seats are awful. I always emerge with a back ache.
Flight was not affected by the Air Canada strike. Complimentary beer and wine offered on flight.
Could not understand what the attendant was saying during his announcements.
Economy seats always cramped, no meal on international flight, no plugs for electronics, but we got there and cabin crew was excellent.
I paid for comfort plus seats but did not get the extra leg room. When I told the stewardess, she just ignored me.
Bad experience. My checked bag was lost during this direct flight….how does that even happen?
I did not noticed baggage was separate - I had assumed international flights included luggage, so it surprised me I had to pay to check a bag.
