I can respect the early notifications that the flight was cancelled.

What I can not respect and what disappoints me are the options provided as an alternative for a problem I didn't cause. Turning a 1 1/2 hour flight nonstop into a 6 hour flight with 1 hour layover is unacceptable. Telling me, you changed the flight to a smaller seat plan and there is no longer space for my children is, unacceptable. This was the second flight cancelled within the week SAME EXCUSE WITH A NON CUSTOMER FRIENDLY OPTION. JetBlue is no longer the airline I will look to book, it will be the airline I look to avoid - like the plague.

I recently flew from Washington Dulles to NYC John F. Kennedy. Throughout the day I received text messages and emails stating that my flight was delayed. I therefore delayed my arrival at the airport accordingly. I arrived at the ticket counter at 8:40pm (50 minutes prior to the new departure time) of 9:30. I was not concerned as the security line was 1 min long. When I arrived at the ticket counter, no JetBlue representative was there. I was finally able to find someone, but he turned me away, stating that the ticket counter was closed as there was no way to check any bags. He told me that despite getting emails telling me that the flight was delayed, it was my responsibility to get there 40 min prior to the original departure time to be able to check my bags. Then why send the delay messages at all? He also stated that "everyone else seemed to be there, it was just me" I told him that I didn't care, as I made it 50 minutes before my departure time. I had to stay in DC for the night and wake up at 4 am to be on the next flight. I don't understand why this happened and will avoid future JetBlue flights as possible.

Flight cancelled, Went to customer service at Dulles, 2 people working, 5 standing around chatting. After 30 minutes, with the line not moving decided to leave and take Amtrak. Then, United sent me back to customer service to get a release to get me checked bag, I gave up and took a cab to Union Station. Through it all, United's customer service was horrible. I thought American was bad, but United beats them for worst customer service.

The short lines for boarding, but then again these were small flights. The flights taking off early when all passengers were boarded. The flights arriving much earlier than scheduled.

The basic economy flight is bullshit. We both know that it's better to just buy an economic flight. So why even pretend and lie to customers to precast the basic economy flight knowing full well that's just going to force them to have to check in their bags which end up costing more than an economic flight? Why not just offer the regular economy flight price and leave it at that. If the overhead bins are full, offer the passengers a chance to check in their bags for free. What you're doing is preying on the poor who already do not have much which is why they choose the basic economy flight without realizing the full extent of the set up.

Decent leg room. Wonderful to do the flight non-stop from NYC to Delhi.

United. September 14 Newark to Delhi Premium Economy Entertainment screen didn't work for 1st hour of the flight. the movie list was mediocre at best. The screen was smeared with some substance. The list of movies on the United entertainment app is great (via internet) but connectivity on this type of flight is spotty so the traveler is forced back to the antique screen plane system. Dinner. Butter chicken or vegetable options. Food was bland and very small portions for the length of flight. The snack was delivered immediately after dinner was picked up. I did not open it. Looked like a hard roll with something on it. Style of service is abrupt, bordering on rude. Uses terminology that non-US travelers from different cultures would not understand, for instance do you want "white" coffee. Asked me if I had someone at home to pick up after me as she felt she was cleaning too much off the floor. Her comments appeared to be directed at me but it was not my trash (and even if it was, a better approach would be recommended). The flight attendant realized she had gone too far and apologized. Then complained about this "route" being difficult, with no one listening. She concluded by wishing me a good flight and saying that she hoped that she had not offended me. I assured her that she had. Breakfast was mediocre. Egg with soggy potatoes and an inedible sausage. Did not see what they were offering in the veggie dish. Staff seems tired and not culturally sensitive. There needs to be some retraining and consideration given to long haul menus and entertainment. I take this flight at least once a year. It continues to deteriorate.

Then, United sent me back to customer service to get a release to get me checked bag, I gave up and took a cab to Union Station. Through it all, United's customer service was horrible. I thought American was bad, but United beats them for worst customer service.

I can respect the early notifications that the flight was cancelled.

What I can not respect and what disappoints me are the options provided as an alternative for a problem I didn't cause. Turning a 1 1/2 hour flight nonstop into a 6 hour flight with 1 hour layover is unacceptable. Telling me, you changed the flight to a smaller seat plan and there is no longer space for my children is, unacceptable. This was the second flight cancelled within the week SAME EXCUSE WITH A NON CUSTOMER FRIENDLY OPTION. JetBlue is no longer the airline I will look to book, it will be the airline I look to avoid - like the plague.

My flight we canceled to LGA due to "weather". Every other airline had flights going to New York on schedule. To me, the reason was unbelievable. I was moved to a flight 12 hours later, at 540am. Not only was my flight time changed but I was now flying into a completely different airport. I had to stay in a hotel and pay $70 because United doesn't pay for a hotel if the cancellation is due to weather. I am outraged by this sudden change in plans. I will never fly United again and I will spread the word to everyone I know.

Flight cancelled, Went to customer service at Dulles, 2 people working, 5 standing around chatting. After 30 minutes, with the line not moving decided to leave and take Amtrak. Then, United sent me back to customer service to get a release to get me checked bag, I gave up and took a cab to Union Station. Through it all, United's customer service was horrible. We had a four hour delay. Absolutely no reason given. Even the the guys at the counter admitted they didn't know why the plane was delayed. And best yet, neither did the pilot. Customer service was great at the airport. But the airline itself was pathetic.

Air Canada seats were much more comfortable than the United flight seats.

I had to leave the terminal and pass through security again. United did not let me reserve my seat on Air Canada. They did not even tell me where my connecting flight could be found.
