The flight was fine. Seats were very comfortable. Attendants were very friendly -
Friendly crew kept coming by to make sure all was ok, provide additional refreshments, etc.
Paid for premium extra leg room but the bin space for rows 1-3 had to go in rows 4-6 and 4-6 had to go to 7-9 because flight attendants have snacks and their luggage upfront. So we pay extra to have to fight thru traffic to get our bags. Only 2nd day of new seating so hope they fix this.
Delayed flight. Nicest crew member was a SW pilot flying seated next to me who kindly move to seat the final passenger. Flight extra delayed. My cup of refreshment of ginger ale was so packed with ice it was literally 2 sips.
Southwest is Southwest. No frills. If you're luck enough to get a happy crew (we did), then it makes for a nicer flight.
I would have liked to arrive on time - not 5 hours late!
Board Milian spokesman with pre boarding , not after A group and without my spouse. Total BS, back to Alaska Airlibes I GO. oner 1.2M miles and 900 flights, and every time I fly SWA I regret it, thos will be last time, I only flew SWA but to time requirements fir a Funeral. NEVER AGAIN SWA
Good crew, funny movies, but you need phone ports in the plane and better snacks. :)
Had a long layover in rainy Chicago. The staff were attentive - my husband needed a wheelchair due to a recent fall and unsteady on his feet. They are wonderful for those of us who need a bit of extra care. My only complaint was discovered upon unpacking our suitcases at home. One (we had 3 carry on size and one just a bit larger) had water damage to everything inside. All the clothing (just happened to be the case with the clean clothes) were wet. I know it was raining, but why would items inside be wet? The paperwork packed in this case was damp with ink running. There were momentos from our 10-day European vacation that I was hoping to scrapbook - but alas, they will be scrapped - too damaged to keep. The boxes of French chocolate were damp on the outside. My expensive camera now has a cracked screen and a Gaudi tea-for-one was cracked - even though it was packed in clothing. I know it happened on this flight as I repacked all four suitcases before leaving New York in the morning. My first unhappy experience with luggage at Southwest.
The a/c wasn’t working very well and it was a very hot flight
the flight was fine, But I paid extra for an Aisle seat both planes and did not get what I paid for when you pay an extra almost $80 and do not get the desired seats it was frustrating I don't fly much because of my legs need more room. thank you for your attention to this
I had called before the flight for vegetarian food. But they did not have it for me.
The plane was very full, and the seats are not very spacious. I was in the middle seat, so it was not super comfortable. I didn't have any experience with the entertainment on board. And food was a Biscoff. Which I realize is just how we do it now, but I definitely miss the days when you could get a breakfast included.
I always have flown Alaska Airlines because I never had an issues. Their customers service is incredible and an amazing communication.
Someone had peed in my seat in the flight before hand. We were rushing to board and fly because our flight was delayed due to a medical emergency on the flight prior in our airplane. My seatbelt was soaked. My seat was dry, but the floor was also wet. It was strange. It smelled awful! I had to be moved and my kids had to sit away from me.
My main issue is that I paid approximately CAD 200 to select four seats for the first flight. However, when I arrived at the check-in counter, I was told that the seats had not been assigned, and my family was relocated to the last row of the plane. I was traveling with two young children, ages two and six, which made the situation especially frustrating. I paid for a service that I did not receive, yet Alaska Airlines did not offer any refund or reasonable solution. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled and will not fly with Alaska Airlines again.
Had nothing to do with alaska just the passenger next to me on the first flight needed a second seat to fit. He was a big boy who couldn't stay in his own space.
Everything was great. Due to an accident on the Glen Hwy attendants could not make it to the airport. A delay while new crew was located
I liked the free wifi on my SEA to PDX leg. I would have liked it on my return trip too.
Flight attendants were kind. Until the plane arrived and had a slow taxi. I was on the tail end of the plane and informed the attendants I had a connecting flight. They didn't do anything to help me get off in a more timely manner. Nor did they contact my connecting flight to let them know I was on my way. By the time it was our rows turn my connecting flight across the terminal D gate to C gate was already boarding. I had to run the whole way through the terminal and hope I caught a train inntime. They were calling my name last call by the time arrived at the gate. Then my connecting flight ticket would not work and a new ticket had to be issued requiring presenting my ID again
The flight was delayed by a hour and I wish they had communicated it sooner. No issues on the plane, it did take a while for food to come.
Smooth and easy boarding, comfortable for the entire 5 hour flight, and the seat back entertainment was great! I appreciated all the features, from location info and maps, movies, the ability to connect with Bluetooth headphones, and good selection of movies. Food was good, normal airline snacks (I didn’t purchase anything)
it was so bad. I tried to board my flight from vancouver to saskatoon. And to my surprise they did not board me cause the flight was changed and no email was send to me. and on my boarding pass which i got from seattle says different flight. I did not knew anyone from Vancouver, air canada crew was rude, i asked for today flight but they were rude and i had early morning dental appointment in saskatoon. I was so much in pain and my whole day is wasted today. and i suffered alot. They did provide me hotel but they did not provide me any food. I am really really disappointed first time had so bad experience with air canada. I may think twice to book it again. If i can get any reply or any composition that would be great. Thanks
leg space better than expected. two washrooms for one plane isn't enough.
The seats on this flight were almost roomy enough to be the basic amount needed for human existence. I think my favorite part of this flight was it landed at an A gate, which was the most palatial part of Sea-Tac I've ever seen - a massive improvement from the S gates.
Everything was fantastic. Modern plane. All the amenities! Although the paid snacks and meals are pure robbery. Like i understand airlines need to make money, but 11$ USD for an overnight oats with some nuts in it and barely any pieces of apple.... Highway robbery
An hour and a half late is UNACCEPTABLE. The negative impact to our family is unconscionable. And for the price we were forced to pay...
Our flight was delayed many times throughout the day. The final delay was about 8 hours. I spent time in line to speak to someone at their understaffed desk, and also spent time waiting online and then chatting with a service rep. None of the United employees were any help at all. I desperately wanted to go get rest and possibly re-book my trip but I was denied any compensation or voucher for a hotel. I was repeatedly told it was not United's fault and therefore they had no compensation to offer. Overall, a cold and callous experience.
Flight crew and pilots did great. Flight way delayed due to a part needing replacement. Based on what the pilot indicated- the maintenance crew could’ve resolved this more efficiently than replacing whole part- and taken less time
The most cramped seating I’ve ever experienced, (including budget airlines) with no food available for purchase on a nearly 6 hour flight.
Plane was super cold. No entertainment unless you were with mileage program Getting off the plane was super slow
Beverage service was not good. Also just one service in 5 hr 30 min flight. No ask fir water ir anything beside one time beverage service.
Flight was delayed because of a bird strike. They had another plane available within 45 minutes.
It was a code share with Alaska - would have been great if I actually made it on the plane, claimed I didn’t have a ticket or a seat even thought I was checked in.
The main problem was delay. The plane was at the gate early and bags were loaded. However, there was no crew for the flight. They were inbound from LGA and had to land and make their way to our gate. It took more than 40 minutes. Then, once the crew arrived and boarded, one of the crew members had to deplane and then a replacement crew member had to be found. It took another 40 minutes or so to get the final crew member. In all, we took off about 2 hours later than our scheduled departure time. Once in the air, the flight was great. Smooth most of the way. The crew was professional and efficient.
i suspect i caught flu on this flight as i could hear someone coughing a few rows back and ended up with flu a few days later. also tiresome to have to watch movies on my device by holding up smartphone screen, would have liked to have in seat display.
I had trouble finding a boarding pass because I had an hour between Flights and American did not see my flight I believe because I was ticketed through KAYAK. I did not have enough time to go to the desk before boarding so I went to the desk and told them while I was boarding and they had a boarding pass for me within three minutes. Nice. I paid extra to have more legroom and it is definitely worth it for a six hour flight. I would’ve paid for a decent dinner, but they didn’t offer anything but a snack box —not good for six hours.
Terrible flight seats where really uncomfortable I had body aches for 2 days and flight was delays almost two hours
Very smooth for one of the busiest travel days of the year and the crew was great.
Customer service prior to boarding is horrible Communication regarding boarding gates is released at the last minute and the gates are very distant from Customs. Very disappointing
