It was freezing, yet they had NO blankets or pillows, they brought only a little hummus, never checked in again the entire flight. No breakfast, no coffee, no roll, nothing served. But, no blankets in FIrst? that in itself is a FIRST for me!"

Cons: "I was asked to rate food and not given a “not applicable” choice. The only food included with the ticket I purchased was a few dry cookies. It’s a 5 1/2 hour flight, I pack a lunch and drag it along with me. Airline seating is notoriously very tight with barely enough space to move the legs and feet. Alaska is no better than the others. It’s a wonder more people don’t suffer stroke from blood clots that develop in the veins of immobile leg muscles."

Because we were flying with their partner airline Icelandic air they were able to check us and our baggage through to the final destination. She had many cans of coke...It's not that I care about a 50 cents of a soda but I felt totally discriminated. I don't want to pull the minority card, but just didn't make sense to me when she did that. I know it's tedious but it really hurt my first experience with this airline. I will avoid flying with them in the future."

Cons: "We originally booked our flight back from Maui because it had a 13 hour layover And we were visiting our friends in Seattle for the day for their housewarming party. Well much to our surprise we get to the airport in Maui to leave and by sure luck because we had to get there early for our rentL car return , realized our flight was boarding in 30 minutes. It got bumped up by 4 hours with absolutely no notification. Also our nice long layover that we had purposely planned was now only 4 hours. So not only did we almost miss our first flight but we had to miss our friends party. We were never notified. I checked my spam mail, junk mail, and regular Mail. Alaska airlines did nothing for us as far as compensation for our aggravation. We usually love using kayak but if this is what will be happening from now on we will be taking our business elsewhere."

Cons: "This was a redeye with 180 or so other people. The guy in front of me had his seat back all flight even when the crew said raise the seat backs for takeoff and landing. Seats were difficult to sleep in, head rest while adjustable is thin and gave no real head support, at the end of the flight my neck felt like it had whiplash. No food, on a 5+ hour flight, it was overnight, but the seat head rests made sleeping difficult."

When we got to our final destination our luggage did not make it with us."
