The pickup process was easy, and everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. I had no issues with the rental during my entire time with the vehicle. The only hiccup was during drop-off. I’m traveling on government orders and need a receipt for my records. I was told the receipt would be emailed to me, but I’m still waiting to receive it. Other than the delay in receiving the receipt, the overall rental experience was smooth and hassle-free. I would definitely consider using this company again.Reviewed Sep 5 2026

My flight was significantly delayed into Rize. I sat one the runway for more than 2 hours. This caused me to be delayed 3.5 hours to pick up the car. Apparently with Avis they only hold your reservation for 3 hours after pick up time. I called 30 minutes after that window and was told that my reservation was cancelled and I was charged the full price and if I wanted a car I had to rebook a reservation. Since Avis was the only car rental company functioning from this airport I had saved for this trip for 2 years and flew all the way across the world, i booked another reservation. Because of this I will NEVER book with Avis again under any circumstances and I will tell everyone to do the same.Reviewed Sep 5 2026
