I had a terrible experience. I ordered an SUV and when I arrived the ride AVIS person said I ordered a Tesla. I showed him my reservation with a picture of the SUV in the reservation and he said well you ordered thru a third party and you need to call them. I always rent thru Kayak and Allvis. It was late I had no choice but to take a Yukon truck with was more than double my reservation I had. So disappointed. I travel every week and was treated very unprofessionally. I will never rent AVIS again snd will make sure everyone knows about my experience!!Reviewed May 23 2023

Booked a compact SUV and was told at the counter that it was just a compact which didn't by for skiis. I was forced to upgrade to the next car that might fit skiis and it cost over 50% more of the original booking! Very disappointed here.Reviewed Mar 6 2023

I booked a compact suv. When I arrived at the counter he said I booked a compact car and gave me keys to a Camry. I showed him my booking reference and he blamed it on kayak not knowing what cars they had available. He then gave me a compact suv but charged me extra $20/ day because the car had snow tires on it. The check engine light came on in the first car so had to go back in and obtain another one. Car not equipped with a block heater and it was -20F for several days in the Calgary area. Lucky it started, however reluctantly. Second car was fine.Reviewed Feb 26 2023

I upgraded at the airport for an extra $10 per day and the comfort of the larger vehicle was excellent! Only minor issue was the gas service option, not sure how they put 90.8 liters into a tank that only holds 90.849 liters! They charged me $108.96 and I never put more than $80 into the vehicle while I had it for 2 weeks. Not worth fighting but I won't be doing that option again!Reviewed Feb 20 2023
