Avis at MCO does not clean the vehicles. The first vehicle we received, a silver Camry with New York plates, was dirty and had sand all over. The Camry was exchanged for a silver RAV4 with Floria plates (DY9-5BZ), this suv was DISGUSTINGLY dirty and smelled like a dog had urinated all over the car. You could actually see the pee stains on the seats. After complaining for the second time, we were given a Chevy Equinox which was in much better shape and even though not clean, it was acceptable. I would not recommend them all.Reviewed Apr 2 2026

Overall im satisfied with the experience, but what I wasn’t happy was that they did not give me the rental I reserved , I was supposed to get an elite ford explorer and they gave me a smaller suv n there was no room for luggage , we made it work but our trip was very uncomfortableReviewed Apr 2 2026

The car I rented wasn't there! I reserved an electric vehicle - any electric vehicle - and instead was given a large gas SUV. I had to speak to 3 customer service representatives to cancel my reservation because there were no other cars they could give me. It was a giant waste of time and a huge disrupter of my plans. My experience with Avis was absolutely horrible.Reviewed Apr 1 2026

I was surprised that I had paid in advance. The check-in took more than an hour with only one clerk checking people in. Apparently she was waiting for cars to be returned.Reviewed Apr 1 2026

It was all great. Car was new, clean & low mileage. Person at counter was delightful & efficient, as was the girl that we returned the car to.Reviewed Apr 1 2026

I had a very good experience with Avis. My only complaint is that I still haven’t received a confirmation email that they said I would receive after I dropped my car off yesterday.Reviewed Apr 1 2026

I’m honestly upset because I rented a vehicle for 1 month and that cost was cost to $600.00 dollars. I asked at the time of rental if I could extend it and was told yes only to find out that I couldn’t do a rental for more than 30 days. I would have to redo my contract. So I’m in Cody and the cost to extended it for 21 more days was over $2,000 but if I drove 3 hrs to Casper it would cost $1,500 after tax. So I had to drive a total of 6 hrs (3 hrs there & back) just to save a little over $500.00. Avis needs to do better. I don’t understand for the life of me why it would cost that much more. It’s not even the season yet when tourists arrive. I strongly recommend checking prices and also play around with picking up your vehicle in a different city to see the difference in pricing. I truly hope I never have to use Avis again.Reviewed Apr 1 2026

The Avis line to pick up the car was over 35 minutes long and one agent's shift ended just as I approached. Not bad for me since I was next but the line extended even longer than when I got there. Possibly if I have Avis Preferred I could have eliminated all that wasted time. Also, my reservation was weird where they made me put down over $400, the $250 deposit plus some. Somehow the 'voucher' where I already paid for the vehicle just wasn't jiving with their system. I checked days later and showed no charge from Avis so I believe it was ok but the 'checkout' didn't work well with their system at all. A manager had to be called to figure out what to do.Reviewed Mar 31 2026
