Horrifically shitty. I had to make a change to my reservation so I called Avis and was informed they can't change anything on my reservation and I'd have to go through Kayak where I'd made the reservation. I was never able to contact Kayak but found where the site said any changes to the reservation had to be done through the renting agency. Completely worthless, I cancelled the reservation being left no other choice and when trying to rebook the same day, prices had more than doubled. 100% unsatisfactory, I rebooked through another provider and will not be using Kayak in the future.Reviewed Apr 17 2025

Pros:Staff were efficient and friendly (if not very helpful when trying to make changes).Cons:I booked a compact car because I wanted a fuel-efficient compact car. What I GOT was an SUV. Wouldn't change my "upgrade" even though there were quite a few compact cars in the Avis lot.Reviewed May 20 2021
