Pros: The Manager is an absolute delight and very helpful!!! The facility is very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in the center of Simsbury.
Cons: Some wear and tear is beginning to show (e.g. edges of the doors to the rooms and bathrooms).
Pros: Friendly staff, great nights sleep, updated bedding, quiet room, nice antique furniture, paintings. Restaurant with an excellent reputation located on the first floor
Cons: Didn't get to eat at the restaurant because one my one night's stay- it wasn't opened on Sunday. Plenty of other options nearby...so not really a problem

Pros: The hotel is still very new and the room and all the included amenities was well worth the cost.
The best thing among all the great things was the staff! They were all super nice and really made sure we felt welcome.
We can't wait to stay there again soon!

Pros: Exceptional service by staff. Outstanding customer focus from every staff encounter.
Pros: excellent service every staff member there was professional rooms are very very clean pool was claimed hot tubs very clean very pleasant stay looking forward to going back again
Pros: Every staff member was professional and nice. Excellent staff made the stay delightful. Food was cooked perfect, and as a chef that is important to me.
Cons: Room was not clean. Pool & Whirlpool was also dirty. I was surprised that as many times as the maid knocked on my door before checkout to clean the room that the place wasn't spotless.
Pros: Everything regarding our stay was first class. We will make it a point to stay there again when we are in the area.
Pros: Pool and Hot Tub were great. Beds super comfy.
Pros: The staff was great! Handled everything thrown at them with professionalism and did a great job! Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here when in town.
Cons: Iron had a rust mark on it, which pressed right into my white shirt. Staff got that mark out and "pressed" the shirt. However when it came back, there was a new yellowish stain( and this was literally a brand new shirt I just unpinned) on the very bottom and the shirt was far from pressed, leaving me scrambling to finish and get to the wedding on time. Staff was great, and immediately responded. Can't blame whomever for not knowing how to press a shirt with an inferior iron. Just wish it hadn't happened. Only blemish to a great stay!!
Pros: Staff was outstanding
Room was VERY comfortable
CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN- room looked as if no one had ever stayed there before!
Slept like ROCK!
Restaurant on site had outstanding food!!
TV in room was crystal clear and large!
Got a call from the front desk approximately 15 minutes after I checked in to make sure everything was acceptable and check if I needed anything- felt like royalty!
Cons: Restaurant service was ok, but not as great as the hotel. Bartender (at dinner) wasn't too outgoing and breakfast servers were busy chit-chatting with eachother, but were extremely nice. It was very slow during breakfast, so I completely understand. Dinner, however, is a different story. It certainly wasn't busy, but the way the bartender acted, it felt like either he was feeling rushed or he couldn't be bothered with questions. He was VERY efficient getting drinks- and that's what you're at the bar for, right?.
Pros: The staff were some of the best I have ever encountered. Very accommodating and friendly. I will certainly stay here again.
Pros: Overall great experience.

Pros: The hotel wash beautiful. It was spotless. The breakfast was great. The service was great. We had a great mattress. Ma huge room. Well priced.

Pros: Heated floors in the bathrooms
Cons: The neighboring water pipes created noise when in use
Cons: I was not able to cancel the second night, when I needed to leave due to a Snow Storm.
Kayak told me I would have needed to change the reservation before the storm came to get a refund on the second night, which was impossible.
Pros: the hotel is very quaint...room was comfy and the 4 poster beds were luxurious! Easy to find...convenient to Hartford...Noella Spa is a hop across the parking lot...I had been to the Noella Spa in Avon (stayed at sister hotel Avon Old Farms) and was so satisfied with the services!
Only 2 complaints...room smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke and the breakfast was a little to be desired-ran out of coffee at 8:15!
I would stay here again...
Cons: I like Noella Salon....very clean and professional...prices were reasonable for the area
The hotel is well maintained and luxurious! I had no complaints....
Rooms are def old, but clean and cared for.
Pros: I liked that they communicated very wedding and were very helpful planning my wedding night st the hotel.
Cons: What i didnt like were the very uncomfortable beds. First night i stayed the room was nice but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I asked for a better bed in my room. They switched me to another room. Room was very nice and there was champagne for me and my new wife but again the bed was terrible. Throwing a feather topper on a 30 yr old bed thats rock hard doesnt add comfort. Please invest in new beds. Also the continental breakfast was subpar. Ive had better breakfast at mcdonalds.

Cons: There was no continental breakfast included and the options for breakfast took too long so I had to go somewhere else.
Pros: Clean and comfortable and quiet. It was a bit expensive. Starbucks in the lobby was great. Staff was wonderful.
Cons: It was a bit expensive. Parking felt a bit unsafe.
Pros: I like nothing

Pros: Pleasant lobby and restaurant areas. Nice fireplace and comfortable sitting areas. Snacks and beverages in the lobby. Looks nice from outside. Close parking.
Cons: Yes - overpriced for condition of room and overall condition of hotel. Room was very worn and needs serious updating - especially the bathroom. Verged on disgusting. Peeling wallpaper, yellow stain on floor around toilet, grout in shower tiles.
Pros: The Inn is a lovely place to stay. we enjoyed the indoor pool and chose the Inn over the 1820 B&B because the pool was there. It was lively as there was a wedding Friday. If you like hiking, kayaking, sightseeing it is all nearby.
Cons: the continental breakfast is very limited. All the cereals were sugar coated. The mattresses need replacement. We had a handicap room and the bar in the bath tub is below the soap dish!!!The bath chair they provided when we called was useless.
Pros: the beds were very comfortable
Cons: I liked everything
Pros: Staff was very friendly, coffee delicious, pool and spa nice too!
Pros: Location/historic feel/really nice front desk gentleman. Also-we found out you are dog friendly-good for you!!! Wish more hotels were.
Cons: The walls are thin. You could hear everything from room to room and in the hallways. Also-just like in many, many hotels- when someone closes their door- it is very loud. Too bad someone hasn't come up with a way to silence doors when they close.
Pros: Charming character. Picturesque setting.
Cons: No pay per view movies or DVD player in the room. Continental breakfast was pretty minimal.
Cons: For the price the room was small and shabby. The bed linens were below par and the bathroom was gross.
Had all the ambiance & comfort of a nice inn
Pros: Close to where we needed to be

Pros: We had a last minute request (late check out) and they were very kind and willing to accommodate us.
Pros: this stay was due to my daughter and I taking my mom to the airport. Upon check in the front desk attendant was rude, very unfriendly. We asked what time the shuttle would come and he asked when my moms flight would leave. When we said 5, he stated arguing saying no flight leaves at that time.
The lobby was so loud from the live music. Between that and the attendant arguing I wanted to just leave but I had already paid for the room online.
Cons: Front desk rudeness
Loud live music at 1am
Bathroom needs updated
Mattress not comfortable, sheets itchy

Pros: very appealing. lots of neat little features, great breakfast
Pros: Clean and very nice Free breakfast was above average
Cons: Pool and Hot Tub were closed to guests during our stay. We chose this hotel based on the location and indoor pool!
Pros: The convenience to family. The security, cleanliness and breakfast were all superb. The staff were very nice as well along with the comfort & great price of the rooms. We truly love the 12 noon check out time. That is definitely a plus for seniors.
Cons: No actually there wasn't anything to complain about at all. We have found a great place to stay when visiting our family in Connecticut now so we will not have to inconvenience them.
Pros: Very clean and great breakfast. Only thing is there was a couple dirty spots on one of my beds blanket. Also housekeeping knocks on your door too many times in the morning to see if you checked out. Wish there was a better system for them to know.
Pros: We liked the openness when you first walked in. It was also classy, bright and inviting look. It also was not a very long distance to our venue. I wasn't sure how far it was going to be and it worked out perfect.
Cons: We found nothing we did not like.
Pros: The hotel is very clean compared to some other hotel on the same level.
Cons: The person at the front desk had a fake smile, she was unfriendly
Pros: They had a shuttle bus for us to and from the congress center

Pros: I was happy with the facilities at the Hilton Garden Inn, nice and clean for all the time we were there, but we only really slept there.
What I was floored by, was the response of Timothy Grant, the Director of Sales, when I told him that I had forgotten my suit jacket at home and was going to a meeting... Tim actually gave me the jacket off of his back and offered it to me! This is the kind of over and above personal service that you just don't ever see!
Keep hiring people like Tim, he truly cares about his guests!
Pros: Staff had great attitude. It was a holiday evening and I encountered no sour pusses! Beds were so comfortable!. Will return.
Cons: Ants in pool area. According to night staff, nothing available to address the problem. Annoying, but not enough to ed our swim time.
Pros: After my flight was unexpectedly canceled, I needed to find a place to stay that was near the airport and offered services like shuttle rides and had a restaurant. The Hilton Garden Inn fit the bill. My room was comfortable and reasonably priced and my dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent.
Cons: I felt that the pool area didn't really warrant the title "spa", but it was still a nice area, overall. I also wish that the convenience store are had offered more than just food.
Cons: No breakfast
Pros: Walls are way too thin! Lost a lot of sleep because of a drunken wedding party two nights in a row! No rooms available to switch. If the hotel puts up with a crowd of people in a room like that, not the place I wa t to stay for business travel in the future. I make this trip annually and there are two other hotels right on top of it.
Pros: Excellent service. Very nice and clean hotel.
Cons: The hotel didn't have my reservation when I arrived. I called Kayak and after about 15 minutes on the phone was able to straighten things out. No apologies from kayak, which was disappointing.. But the situation at the desk was handled very well.

Pros: Recently had a two night stay at the property while attending to family business. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and mostly, efficient. In summary, it matched my needs.
Cons: I have one minor complaint. On checking out, the night desk clerk didn't know what a "zero balance" receipt was and I had to explain It. Apparently, he was confused because the room was prepaid through Expedia. Still, it seemed like a simple enough request and I was slightly taken aback he was clueless. I'm glad I wasn't in a hurry.
Cons: Urinne on toilet and dirty towel in ahower
Cons: breakfast not included
