The customer service was ok. Very squeezed rooms, wi-fi didn't work, lower overal quality in comparison to other competitively priced hotels of the same tier we have visited.
The price was low, and they didn't give me a hassle about an extended checkout. There was plenty of parking behind the hotel. It's right on I-95, so it's a convenient location. The front desk staff was standing around bickering with each other while a line of people were waiting to check in. I found long black hairs in my bed and my towels. I don't think the top cover on the beds had been washed in a long time, there were crusty stains on it. Gross!
The bed was adequate. The toilet ran all night and after asking for it to be fixed, I was assured it was. It had not been and I was told no other room could be offered and no compensation was given for 2 sleepless nights. Other guests were in and out of the rooms all night long, slamming doors. I wasn't sure my car was safe in the parking lot.
location. there was a one inch gap between the floor and the door which meant anyone could look underneath it and anything can crawl underneath it as well. I found two spiders in the room along with a bed bug. There was also some big furry critter on the wall that we had to kill. The microwave worked but made this crazy noise like it was going to explode. And there were tears/rips in the curtains. Pretty creepy!
Cost was 85% of better equipped hotels but they were all booked. So glad to find a bed near Tarrytown NY. Was adequate and safe. Poor soundproofing. Heard adjoining room guest snoring. Little space in small bedroom. Breakfast substandard. Waterry oatmeal. Room temperature orange juice. Coffee OK.
A true pay-by-the-hour motel. There was a sign out front that said "Special daytime rates." Disgusting. No central air conditioning, and the room was HOT. The carpet was covered in stains, and the bedspread had cigarette burns in it. The TV remote didn't work. The microwave was so tiny that food containers or travel mugs wouldn't fit. Right next to a busy street and walls were thin so it was loud all night. Would NOT stay here again. Plan ahead and avoid this place.
Close to plazas, eateries. Fairly quiet, No road noise even with open windows. Beds are comfortable. Parking can be cramped. No place to lay out clothing except to place in drawers. No fans in bathrooms.
quiet very dumpy
Location Dirty carpet, bathroom had unidentifiable gunk on walls, under all furniture full of dust, all chairs in room had stains on them, rust on towel racks in bathroom, window in bathroom had a circular hole cut out of frosted covering, sheets did not fit bed....
There was no water bed smell funny but it was clean
Conveniently located for my needs, basic lodging and low cost Desk clerk was very rude, accommodations were clearly aged
Price and location Smelled like cigarettes and you cannot drink water they only give you 2 bottle waters
close proximity to my original destination previous reputation
